Nothing changes but the colors. I mean this in a good way. Somethings are better left alone, and this is the case here. My first visit here was in 1996, the food was great then and it's just as good as I remember it, today. The parents are gone but the kids continue the tradition of large servings of hash browns and giant burritos. Excellent service by everyone. The place is clean and the atmosphere relaxed. If you are visiting Eugene OREGON this is the place to go if you are "STARVED". Best time, I found out to go is at around 10:30 or so, not as crowded as it would be earlier in the morning. Parking lot was paved and updated, no more dusty car after your meal. !Great Job Fam! Keep up the good tasting food !

You want a great place for breakfast with friendly staff, everything is homemade. and huge portions with a great price. You need to come visit GJs Family restaurant. This was our first time here and We absolutely love this place and will be back. Thank you for an amazing breakfast and service.

Other than the extreme noise of a jammed packed place, with a ton of happy, fullfilled folks talking & eating, this place is the Cat's Pajamas!!! Everything is beyond Giant portions & it's all fresher than fresh. Been here a few times & I will keep coming back! By the way, their Biscuits are plate sized & so light & fluffy. I have never, ever, had a bad meal here! One person in our party ordered Lunch, he had a Chili Size with Homefries & the rest of us ordered Breakfast.

When I arrived in Eugene I was looking for a nice local family owned restaurant to get breakfast. This was a really great spot. The atmosphere is nice and kind and the staff is even nicer. The portions to this burrito were ridiculous in the best way possible. It was filling and delicious and I managed to chew down half now and half later.

Good breakfast, not great, just good. There's not really anything terribly special about eggs, bacon, and hash browns. Good, filling, and decent price. It's just not the same atmosphere that it used to have. A better coffee would make a world of difference.

If you are visiting Eugene and you want a great breakfast, GJ's is the place! Generous portions, robust menu and everythings good!

The food was pretty typical. The service was not great. We watched people be seated after us, eat, and leave before we got served our food. After waiting for 1/2 an hour for our food, it was just okay. Pancake batter clumps in my pancake. Oh well, now I know.

Went here for breakfast. Quick and good service. I took the huevos rancheros which were perfectly balanced with enough cheese, beans and hash brown! I can really recommend this place for breakfast/lunch. Very clean and tidy too!

I Love this Lil Family Restaurant and the proprietors... the dishes are decent... The homemade Biscuits and Conversations are Ah-Mazing. So Kind and swift with the orders. Get There early to grab a seat. 👍🏼🤗😊💜❤

This is a wonderful little tucked away gem. The place is clean, the service is fantastic and the food is super good in that down home, remind you of grandma's house way. I had the garlic marinated finger steak breakfast and it was fantastic. Small steak pieces floured and fried just like I used to get as a kid. The portions were hefty and overall I give them an 11/10, will definitely be back!

This is our all time favorite spot. We come here every weekend. The food is amazing, the portions are huge and the prices are outstanding. The staff is always quick with service and super friendly. I recommend this place any time someone is looking for suggestions.

This is my favorite place to go for breakfast. Locally owned by the sweetest family. They have tried new specials and things without changing too much since so many of us love it the way it is. The food is always fresh, delicious, and comes out fast and hot. My favorite is the French toast and crispy bacon.

Found this sweet little restaurant and just had to try the food. YUMMY!!! Large portions of homestyle food. A bit loud but only because many people enjoying themselves and the food. 5+⭐

Service was great. Portions large. Food was meh. Gravy was bland. Eggs OH were more like scrambled. Hashbrowns not crisp. Haven't been here in years. Was unimpressed.

Was in the area and Googled restaurants. Selected GJ's and happy we did. We had a Traditional Breakfast: hash browns, eggs, bacon and a huge homemade biscuit (yum) and the other was Garlic steak strips, potatoes, eggs, toast . Everything was delicious.

Busy Sunday morning, great customer service, prompt attention, and great food for the cost. Homemade biscuits are light, fluffy, and large. Garlic marinated fried finger steak was medium rare, scrambled eggs and hash browns were perfectly cooked. The pancake was huge and delicious, just like grandma used to make.

Always great food, prices and service! I love this place!

Real good food low prices and fast service! If you leave here hungry it's your fault! But you don't have to over eat they have regular portions also.

My boyfriend and I ate here last month. I’ve driven by hundreds of times and I am upset with myself that it took us so long to eat here!! We loved the atmosphere and the food was delicious. Their menu was very vegetarian friendly too which was a huge plus.

Excelent place for breakfast. Lots of food at an affordable price. We did not need lunch today 🙂. Service was great. Thank you! You even treated us Beavers (OSU) like family. Our orders included the veggie omelette, bacon and cheese omelette (they each came with a healthy serving of hash browns), biscuit and gravy, sample plate. All of us agreed that they were all very good. The only thing (which is not a big deal) is that we all felt that they went too low on salt, which is easily fixed and better than the opposite. Will visit again next time we are in town.

Let me start by saying that the food is great and the portions are hefty. HOWEVER, this is NOT family friendly. No booths, crowded space for sitting, and no kids menu. I ordered two silver dollar pancake meals for two toddlers, thinking silver dollar portions. They were 6 regular size pancakes that could have fed all three my kids in one meal. No one mentioned this when I told them it was for a toddler, so I ordered waaayyy to much food. The service could have been better, no one checked on me or asked if I needed anything. Overall, the food was good and would be great for takeout, but wouldn’t recommend eating inside. Also if ordering for children make sure to order one meal for 3 kids.

The Gj supreme Breakfast burrito is the beez knees! Delicious hot fresh thick cut bacon, savory sausage and all the Tabasco flavors u need. Came on a slow day quick delivery and seating. Coming back and recommending this GODZILLA BURRITO.

Always have been good big portions, which i appreciate:) everything is amazing except some dishes can use some more flavor like the breakfast burrito , if I can request more seasoning that’d be cool!

This is my favorite place to go for chicken fried steak and french toast. I love the family that runs it too! They are so friendly and make it feel so cozy! I have never left this place unsatisfied.

Very clean and tidy inside. Good food... large portions and pretty fast! The older gentleman waiting tables was very attentive and gave great service! Lady at front desk sat on her phone mostly... 3 people are very good for under $40.

Great food, great service, great price. The only thing that I can say is, Their Omelette is not as good as mine, But to be honest, mine is a frittata but still better. Thank you for your good service good food and good prices have a great day
