Amazing! While I am at Poppi’s I dream I am dining along the coasts of Greek isles. Having lived in Germany where I feasted on Turkish donor kebab… and having visited Egypt… I taste the Mediterranean. For some strange reason my eldest son loves gyros… independent of my influence! When I looked to Poppi’s they don’t disappoint! Even my youngest autistic son finds fare he loves!

I honestly had the best meal out here. Great food. Great atmosphere. Amazing food prepared in a traditional way. Both Greek and Indian food on one menu gives you a wide variety of options. The house wine was delicious. Mezedaki - our choice of 3 out of 6 appetizer options. We chose: Dolmadakia, Anginaraki, and Melitzanosalata with pita and extra olive add on. Korma Chicken Curry - Creamy and spicy. Psari Marinato - Lightly breaded Oregon Snapper served with rice and oiled salad.

we went on a weekday around lunch-ish and there was a decent amount of seatin' available; i could see it bein' uncomfortably crowded during a busier time food was decent, soup was alright. my veggie pita was quite yummy, mostly thanks to the tzatziki sauce. would happily return another day to try everything else

The meal started off well. The appetizers were good. But then we waited over an hour after we were done with appetizers and had a show to catch. Ended up getting our food to go and had to rush back to the car before the show. When I got home and opened it I was sadly disappointed at the portion size. There was maybe a 1/4 cup of rice. I also specifically asked if there were bell peppers on the salad and they assured me no as I’m allergic to them. Well there’s a giant slice sitting there. It was basically a waste. Shouldn’t take 1.5 hours get get a pork chop that was under salted. All around I wouldn’t recommend them.

Poppi's has a delicious Greek menu (the most garlicky eggplant dip I've ever had -- loved it!). They were understaffed and a little slow but our waitress was very sweet and apologetic, obviously doing her best. I had the spanakopita, which was served with potatoes with tomato sauce, which unfortunately made the filo soggy on the bottom. But the top was crisp and the filling was nice and herby, tons of spinach flavor. It's small inside but super cute, with great Greek music and an interesting looking cocktail menu.

This was the greatest pork chop I've eaten in my life. So succulent and flavoursome, seasoned to perfection. Fantastic little restaurant, excellent atmosphere and the food was simply outstanding. If you eat at one place in Eugene, it'd better be here.

This is a sweet family-owned restaurant. I had the gyro for dinner it was an absolutely amazing combination of lamb and beef, Served with lettuce, tomato, and, onions on the side which was fantastic with a pepper as well. We shared two appetizers which were very pleasant and deliciously homemade. And we followed up with two desserts a rice pudding and a cake of some sort that was absolutely rich and divine. Our service was very personal to ensure our satisfaction every guest I saw leave the restaurant seemed happy as can be. I had the Taj mahal beer. I don't see this beer served in very many restaurants so I was very pleasantly surprised. Thank you for the great service!!

What a cute restaurant!!! And the smell as soon as you open the door is let's you know you're about to eat some tasty food! Everything was delicious and service was awesome! The portions are very small for the price but the food was really good!

I have not been here since 2008 and lemme tell ya, still pretty banging after all these years. Started off with a mastiha tonic and a cypress cucumber. Oh man that cucumber really complemented everything we had throughout the evening. Then came a Saganaki, beautiful breaded fried cheese with an overdose of fresh squeezed lemon juice. On what seems to be house bread, it all worked. We got the arni souvlaki and the psari marinato. The lamb was cooked pretty well so slightly chewy, i wouldn’t use that cut I’d make more of a meatball but still really good. The Oregon snapper wasn’t what i had anticipated. All the flavors and textures were incredible but would have love to see the whole fish instead of two filets. Maybe i won’t wait 14 years to come back. 😚🤌🏽

My lady and were treated to excellent service, and a very tasty Greek meal. We started with stuffed grape leaves, and split a bowl of lemon-chicken soup. Yum. She had the pork chops, I had fresh fish. Both nicely spiced, and well cooked. She had hibiscus tea, I had hibiscus tea/lemonade. Very unusual, very good. Will definitely return again.

Excellent Greek restaurant, which also features some Indian dishes on the menu. We ordered Saganaki (fried cheese), which was served with several wedges of homemade bread, a gyro, and kota psiti. All were outstanding. The tzatziki sauce was delicious. The staff was attentive, and as warm and inviting as the decor!

In my opinion, this is the ONLY place to go for Greek food in Eugene. 🙌 The variety of flavor profiles, herbs, citrus and even the wine pairing was perfection! This place is busy due to the quality of their food and ambiance so get there when they open! We had a little bit of a wait, so do not come if you are in a hurry but I promise every minute is WORTH the wait!

Having missed out on Poppis's Anatolia before moving from Eugene to Medford many years ago, we kept it on our list of places we wanted to try and my husband, son and I were recently able to do so. Unfamiliar with the menu, we followed the recommendations of our chef/server, Tristan, and each of our meals and all of the appetizers were absolutely wonderful. The staff were all marvelous, the atmosphere fun and light. Poppi's, Tristan and crew earned our five stars and highest recommendation!

This restaurant is so authentic…. It reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking from Armenia. It also is nice that they have somewhat of an open kitchen view. I enjoyed myself GREATLY at this restaurant. The owner was the one cooking when my mom friend and I went. Our waitresses were beautiful and worked with ease and Grace. I enjoyed everything about this beautiful location. Definitely worth my five stars.

Good enough, albeit a bit bland. Lots of garlic and dill. The two of us accidentally got full on the "choose 3" appetizer (the roasted eggplant spread was the best). Potatoes with marinara sauce surprisingly good. Nice service and outdoor seating, reasonably priced.

Wonderful little place. Very friendly and attentive staff, but not the kind that check in too often. The food is great. Well prepared and honestly, I was surprised how quickly it showed up considering how busy it was I was driving home after dinner so I skipped the glass of wine, but they have limited imported Greek wines so I'll have to go back.

Poppi’s is ALWAYS a hit! The staff are attentive, sweet, and funny (Ellie has been my server every time and she is wonderful!) the food is beyond what you’d expect for the price, drinks are amazing, and there’s been live music a few times. The small space really provides for an amazing experience

What a treat! Truly delicious food and great people. Normally the menu is a combination of Indian and Greek food, occasionally they have a Greek night with expanded selections — the eggplant dip (Melitzanosalata) and calamari were incredible as were our entrees. We will definitely return to this gem.

We had a recommendation from our Airbnb hostess to check out Poppi's Anatolia and it was a good decision! Staff was really friendly and was very knowledgeable about all of the dishes. We had Saganaki and the Thali Platter and it was delish.

Excellent choice for dinner tonight, delightful little restaurant in what I consider downtown Eugene. Was packed full of happy people indulging in great food and conversation. Seated quickly since I was a party of 1. Specials explained once seated, followed with speedy arrival of Waitress. Food came out in a timely manner. 😋

I absolutely love Poppi's. I've made them a regular part of my week. Their Sunday Greek nights are amazing; the layout and furniture improves the experience immensely, giving the entire place a warm, inviting atmosphere, especially when there are dozens of customers enjoying the delicious food. The staff are always nice and attentive, I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to be served. If you love Mediterranean food, this is the place to be.

There were two servers responsible for bussing, hostessing and serving. We went on a Wednesday night around 5:30 pm. The restaurant filled up quickly. We ran out of water with no refills, it took 30 minutes for our appetizer, and then they forgot the soup we ordered with our entrees. One server brought the soup out late (after entrees were almost done) and said it would be on the house. Instead, we were billed for it. I love supporting local places, but they need to hire another support person for their staff. Two servers could not manage the full restaurant and it greatly impacted our experience. They did the best they could, but we will not be back. This is the second time we have experienced similar issues.

Iris was a great server! Super friendly and didn't hesitate to recommend appetizers when we asked. Korma chicken curry was light and creamy while the Kotta Psiti was a simple and tasteful filling dish.

Delicious. Nice, cute and small location that packs big flavors into their dishes. I’m a fan of their dips and vegetarian platter. They can also make pretty good cocktails. Would be a nice place for a date. Totally recommend.

Food was okay and it was a bit cramped. They have a variety of dishes both Greek and Indian. I got the curry and it didn't have much flavor other than being spicy. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice but it was a bit tight in there

The vibe is great, the waitstaff is always kind and working hard. Food comes out at a leisurely pace but it is always worth it. Their chicken is amazing. This picture is of their melted cheese dish, it was indulgent and yummy.

We had Spanakopita and the gosht. The Spanakopita was amazing. The Ghost was very good, but not a style I was used to. Usually it's cooked down to almost a paste, but this was chopped and possibly sauteed. All very good and a wonderful atmosphere.

I've loved this place for decades. I believe the current owner worked for Poppi for years, and they are delivering the same high level of service and amazing food as ever. We got takeout for five last night and they've captured lightning in a bottle. The Kota psiti, spanikopita, and chutneys were just like old friends. I had the Vindaloo chicken which was rich and spicy and I totally recommend it. It may have changed hands but you will not be disappointed. Mmmm-wa!

Excellent Greek food! Beef and lamb gyro was a big portion. Taste was awesome! We got the tzatziki appetizer to start things off... Yummy! Cute "hole in the wall" find. The wait staff was curious, prompt, and helpful. The only downer, parking was the pits. You are in the heart of Eugene. I found a nearby 30 minutes space and set a timer on my phone. I put a total of 60 minutes on the meter which was enough time to have a relaxing lunch. Cost was around $35 including tip; not a daily event but a fun adventure.

This is my absolute favorite resultant in Eugene! Every time i have the honor of visiting- I’m blown away by how much better it was than the time before! The people are friendlier than hungry kittens, the location is easier than cake, the love felt therein is better than all of native Oregon combined! Thank you! I’ve had the best evenings of my life in your sweet four walls! I always leave full! Always!
