We have been their fans since their first store. We are glad now they have couple locations to go to! Love this downtown one, spacious, and friendly staff. With the great base of Belgian waffle, both savory and sweet ones are delicious!

Loved the waffles. Sooooo good. I loved the PMB waffle with Pork Belly. My wife had the Goat in the Headlights and was fantastic as well. Definitely worth the stop on our way to California.

This place was nothing short of excellent! They offer savory and sweet waffles. The waffles themselves are delicious on their own. The ingredients were incredibly fresh and all of the flavors were perfectly balanced and complimented one another really well. There are nice, professional pictures of the waffles around the restaurant and when our food came out the presentation on point and looked exactly as the pictures did and you almost never see that in restaurants. The atmosphere and ambiance of this place are very cozy and inviting too. The DIY painted mason jar lights they have really set a calm and comfortable vibe. Our food came out quickly and the staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and offered up suggestions as this was our first time coming in here. Every bite was exquisite and I cant wait to come back and try more of their waffles. This is the kind of breakfast that sets you up to have a great day. My new favorite breakfast spot in town!

Finally a restaurant in the US that knows what an authentic liege waffle is. These are the best I e come across this far. I got a plain one to go -$4 along with the one I ordered. No complaints. I like that they have seasonal specials. The whipped cream looked house made. They pile it one pretty good if it comes with your order, otherwise you have to pay for a side of it.

Edit: it's not overly crowded anymore. ...This OJ is so delicious. I've been by here a few times for brunch, and it's nowhere near as busy as it used to be. Granted I haven't been here in the weekends, but y'all should definitely come by. Oh and the ice cream waffle sandwich is so good. (Food quality) * Best liege waffles I've had (the waffle itself). Bacon and eggs were also pretty good. The syrup was a little too sweet for me, but I doubt most people would mind. They do have gluten free options as well, though they charge more for them. (Service, atmosphere, and seating) * Plenty of seating inside, and outside. Staff & service were pretty good, even though they were swamped. You have to get your own cups, napkins, and utensils though. (Pricing) *A little too pricey for me to frequent the place, but it's a good place to get brunch on the weekend (like after waking up with your date, Or a good place to bring family that's visiting). (Portion size) *Portions were reasonable for me, though it could be too much for some people. That's not normally an issue for most people though. (It looks small In my picture, but TRUST ME when I say that it's more filling that it looks at first glance) (Negatives) Main Issue I had, was that wait times can get pretty long during their busy hours. I'm also not a huge fan of getting my own cups/utensils, because that means other people would've had the chance to put their hands on the silverware.

Visiting from New York, I had seen this restaurant reviewed on TV and was relishing a visit. It didn't disappoint. Sweet/savory treats, good coffee, simple furnishings. I was not disappointed.

Can't really give much of a review after my poor experience at the South Eugene location. Because of that, I only ordered the regular waffles for take out at this location. By the time I arrived, I was actually surprised by how fast they had it ready for me. I had coupons, but apparently the computer system wasn't functioning properly to the point that the manager had to get involved. The fact that they were patient with me and willing to figure out the problem made me feel a little more impressed. And there were a lot more employees there, to boot. By the time my family feasted on the waffles, I was also surprised by how big they were. The South Eugene waffles were about as small as an adult's palm, but these waffles were double the size (especially if you stretched your hands out). For less than $5 per waffle, I'll take that over the gigantic waffles served at hotels. I would highly recommend going to this Off The Waffle location and not the one in South Eugene because at least Downtown is willing to give a darn about their customers.

The staff are wonderful and always willing to help. The tables are made of beautiful wood that improves the atmosphere and meal. The food is amazing whether you prefer sweet or savory (or a combination of both) and the prices are reasonable.

First of all, the food was absolutely amazing! As someone who's spent time in Belgium it's exciting to find places here that have good authentic waffles. The service was also great. When my friend's egg yoke was broken the waitress offered to bring a new egg right away. The vibe of the restaurant was cute and nice as well. We also appreciated that as adults we were still allowed to color!

Not your run of the mill breakfast reataurant. It’s a simple but gourmet place. Sweet or Savory. Staff was friendly and even though it seemed crowded when we arrived got a nice table and had a lovely breakfast. Still a bummer to have to pay for parking on a Saturday. But that’s not their fault. Highly recommend!

Probably the best waffles I've ever had. Crisp on the outside, soft inside, and the strawberries were nice and fresh. We will come back for sure the next time we are in Eugene.

I really enjoy my experience here. I walked in and said I have no clue what to get. The staff was super helpful mentioned a few different things. I went with the strawberries and creme. Then when asked if I wanted anything to drink I was pleasantly surprised to find about 15 loose leaf options. I went with the Oolong and it was fantastic. I always have a fear about the loose leaf on display being stale. Not the case. It was fresh and delicious. Got to come here for a yummie meal and a nice tea!!!

The star of their menu is the unforgettable "Hey Bob" Liege waffle. This delicacy is expertly topped with crisp apples, melty Havarti cheese, and a beautiful drizzle of maple syrup, finished with a sprinkle of cinnamon. It's a symphony of flavors that indulges your taste buds in the perfect blend of sweet and savory. The ambiance and the waffles combine to create an unmissable experience for all food enthusiasts. Highly recommended!

Still as great as always. Wish they still had a Portland location, but it's worth visiting when around the Eugene area!

It's one of my favorite places to visit each time I travel to Eugene. Consistently Great tasting waffles. Wish OTF was in my hometown! Yummy!

Without any hesitation I can say this Waffle House served up one of the best waffle breakfasts I’ve ever had in my life. Loved the down to earth friendly service and unapologetic casual atmosphere. Their business is the best waffle and they execute flawlessly. We will definitely be back.

This is the best restaurant you can ever go to for breakfast, everything it's organic and make from scratch, this is the only restaurant that I've been that has fresh green tea and herbal teas, I got jasmine tea with fresh leaves I loved it, the food here has the best quality, it's organic and fresh plus it was the first time that someone ever makes my eggs actually over medium, my eggs were cooked perfectly, if you like heathy, fresh and high quality food this is the place to go.

Great waffle place!! Because of the type of waffle batter they use, the waffles aren't overly sweet (although you have the option to order a waffle geared towards sweet, savory, or in the middle). The portion size was decent for the price but didn't leave you overly stuffed

Lucas was very helpful. You can tell these employees are working so hard to make this a positive experience for their customers. My partner had a headache and Lucas even gave us an Ibuprofen. Service was fantastic, even better than the food. If you like spicy stuff ask an employee for the chili habanero garlic sauce. 10/10 would recommend.

You need to go here! Went here while visiting a friend for the weekend and may need to go back before I leave! We got the BMB, Hey Bob, and Goat in the Headlights. All of them are great. The waffles are amazing by themselves, but their recipes for savory, in between, and sweet waffles are where it is at. There is something for everyone here. It does get busy, but people flow through easily. A must stop in downtown Eugene.

Their waffles are the original liège waffles. Tried them when I was there visiting Eugene,OR. Their house roasted coffee is the best. Imagine waking up downtown Eugene, walking into this beautiful place and having absolutely amazing quality waffles and coffee. Oh, and service was so great. I didn’t get the name of the bearded guy at the counter. I definitely liked when they brought some cream in a bottle and poured it in my coffee. It felt like home. Thank you guys. I had to order a second waffle because the first wasn’t enough. This is my to go place when I’m in Eugene.

I wish I would I could give 5 stars but we were disappointed with the long wait for food and the waffle mocha was bad . It was watery and tasted horrible. We asked them to make new waffle mocha and it did not arrive after a long 10 mins wait and we left disappointed. The waffle taste was interesting and different. Plenty of indoor and outdoor dining.

This place has a cool downtown vibe. 2 man guitar & string base band taking requests while you eat. Super cool and a must try. Prices on the higher end but worth it. If you found this review to be helpful please like it.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
