Took my daughter here on a mother-daughter-date and she LOVED it. She usually doesn't eat all her food, but she absolutely devoured her spaghetti. I ordered the chicken alfredo and it was creamy and delicious. The restaurant was busy, but the employees made sure to speak to every customer. A very cute restaurant and reasonably priced.

Please know this first. Make a reservation! I had what I thought was a simple fettuccine alfredo. I realized there are other, more elegant levels of fettuccine alfredo. This restaurant serves the top of the line, high quality, homemade noodles and alfredo sauce. Wow! My wife went with the Vodka Rigatoni. Both dishes were absolutely amazing! We can hardly wait to go back. If you are thinking of going, just call, make a reservation and go. You will want to go back again and again!

My new favorite Italian restaurant in Eugene! Everything was excellent. Reserve your table and go have a romantic dinner with your beloved. Tiramisu was to die for!

We were in on 4/13 and had a 6:30 reservation. Was immediately seated. Was greeted by our server with his recommendations of entree’s. Drinks and salad quick and amazing! Their Kale super food salad was on point! My wife had the Salmon ravioli and I had their lasagna with added sausage. Both entrees were perfect! 100% pleased with everything! I only wish I could remember our servers name, he was great. He definitely deserves recognition. He was tall with a few tattoos! Thank you again, we look forward to see you soon! Allen 🔈

Had dinner at Placido's last night off a friends recommendation (local to Eugene) and glad we did. Place is a little hard to find but i think this is by design. The restaurant is a small cosy open room with a great atmosphere. The service was was great, but the food was sensational 👌. I didnt book but were lucky enough to get seated. I would highly recommend having a night out here and definitely make a booking. Thanks again Placido's team.

My husband, daughter and I came here tonight for our fist time on our wedding anniversary and we’re beyond pleased with our time. The food was absolutely amazing. My daughter had the spaghetti and meatball, my husband had the Gorgonzola ravioli, and I had the vodka rigatoni. We all love our dishes and shared bites we loved as well. Our server was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. The dishes were very well priced. Our bill was $102 for 5 drinks, 2 adult and 1 kid entrees, and an appetizer. For a pasta and wine night with a child tag-a-long we were beyond pleased. We will be back to try everything in the menu.

Update #2: originally gave this 5 stars, but dropping two for inconsistency. The last few times we went, the sauces were watery and tasteless. Very disappointing Update: tried the special “Cajun Alfredo” and wow. Seriously, such a good pasta dish- roasted red pepper fettuccine with shrimp, veggies, all doused in a spicy cream sauce. Wow!! Placido’s is a hidden gem! The food is fantastic, the wait staff are friendly and accommodating, and the space is quaint and nourishing. Highly recommend!

Delicious Italian flavor! Great location. The decor was minimal, modern, with the perfect touch of greenery. We loved the open window to the busy kitchen & grill👍 Literally watching your pasta being handmade was quite the treat. Thank you Placido's for a delightfully pleasant lunch date 😁💯

It's a good standout among Italian restaurants in the Eugene market. With its limited menu, it can focus on what's important; fresh homemade pasta and good flavors. It is consistently good in food and service!

Pretty good! To start, we shared a Caeser salad... The dressing was just a touch too fishy for my taste, but it was tolerable. To drink we shared a strawberry margarita- VERY delicious! I ordered the smoked chicken ravioli in pesto cream sauce, it was great. My dining partner ordered the three cheese lasagna; also very good. Will visit again!

If you want to spoil yourself with appetizers and fine wine before your main course expect 50 dollars a person. We didn't have a reservation, but they got us a table fairly quickly. Meatballs usually run out an hour before they close, so don't show up too late. The parking lot is tiny, so you might have to park down the street and walk on a busy night. Also, their outdoor area is next to a garden, so bees like to hang out with you (just FYI if you are allergic.)

Stepping into Placido's Pasta Shop you are greeted by the comforting smells of Italian Cuisine. The Chicken Pesto has Organic Basil blended with Spinach, Parmesan, Garlic, and Roasted Pine Nuts, sauteed with Chicken then tossed with Cherry Tomatoes and Fresh Organic Rotini. This is an outstanding dish. Another favorite is the Roasted Garlic and Gorgonzola Ravioli which has Garlic Basil Pasta in Brown Butter and Assorted Vegetables atop a bed of Spinach. Herbed Sourdough Bread with warm Marinara Sauce is brought to the table. Housemade Fresh Pasta has no equal when it comes to flavor. The atmosphere here is welcoming and engaging. You can buy Fresh Uncooked Organic Pasta to go. I promise you that you'll leave here full and satisfied.

Nice atmosphere, staff was very polite and cortious, food was delicious. We got Fettuccini Alfredo and Smoked chicken Ravioli

Positive note is that the service was great. Food was ok for me. Other than the fresh focaccia and marinara sauce which was delicious, I wouldn't get what I ordered again. I had the ravioli with garlic, gorgonzola, and fresh vegetables. It was too rich, and there was too much going on. My husband did like the fettuccine though. Because we didn't have a reservation, we had an outside table looking at the prison. We had tried calling twice to get a reservation, but no one answered the phone. We also had issues with bees that kept coming over to our table. The cost was $75 before the tip.

We went here because of a Google search for best pasta in Eugene and this was first on the list with great reviews, so we tried it. We were not disappointed. Though it is rather small and industrial looking on the inside and outside, the atmosphere was good with soft lighting, music and prompt and professional service. The menu has great options, with well written descriptions and the prices were outstanding in comparison to what you were getting. Our food was fresh, delicious and beautifully seasoned and prepared. We will be going back to try it all!

Placidos is a small restaurant and I highly recommend reservations. We saw a few people show up without reservations and and be turned away. The food is delicious especially the house made pasta. The carbonara is to die for. If you like a sweet and sour drink the lemon drop is very good.

The ravioli dishes were literally floating in oil- it was rather unpleasant. The pasta may have been great, but it was difficult to taste anything besides the 5-6 tablespoons of oil they were in. My ravioli was described as being served on a bed of spinach, but what I received was maybe 10-15 leaves of spinach, also floating in oil. I couldn’t eat them at all. The server was … energetic, but didn’t really pay attention to whether we were enjoying our food. None of the six of us finished our meals.

Quaint, cute, and cozy Italian in Eugene with great music and vibe.Serving certified organic pastas and focusing on sustainable practices. Very busy, every seat at the bar was taken. Service was great, friendly, and not overwhelming and parking was close and available, big plus! We enjoyed our vodka rigatoni, although there was an overload of sausage in it paired with a great wine. Would love to try more dishes in the future, will definitely be back.

First time here. Sat at the bar, bartender was on point! She was very personable and made some tasty drinks! Food was delicious! Hard to decide what to order. Got smoked salmon spinach fettuccine, so good! Husband ordered spaghetti & meatballs. Trust me, go!

Delicious! Best Italian cuisine in Eugene hands down. My partner and I are never disappointed when we come here. The pasta is always fresh and the sauces are full of flavor. The restaurant itself is also very quaint, classic, and has a romantic feel to it.

We ate here a month ago and I am still dreaming about the smoked chicken ravioli in pesto cream sauce. One of my favorite pasta dishes I have ever had. Service was great, drinks were great, we all very much enjoyed out meals. An incredible experience all around. I live on the east coast, or I would be going here far too often. I look forward to the next time I am in Eugene!

We went here for a big anniversary. The food was excellent, especially the starters, dessert, and cocktails. My husbands pasta with pork was amazing. My smoked salmon pasta was so rich, it could have used some roasted veg to balance it out. Only ate a few bites of it. I debated about 3 or 4 stars instead of 5 only because our server was rather pushy. We said at the time of reservation and several times after we arrived that we were there to savor and enjoy, wanting to take our time. He would not get the message, even though it was a Thursday night and several tables around us were open.

A pleasant dinner overall. Service, drinks and food were very good. Nice location. Pasta was fresh and tasty, a bit under seasoned, but we will definitely come back.

Amazing fresh pasta from sauce to noodles. I ordered the special of the day which was the Bolognese lasagna and I didn't want it to end! It was so good. The sauce was so rich and flavorful and the noodles were made to perfection. The vodka sauce of our other dish is also highly recommended. Overall a great experience with amazing food.

Loved this little place. The homemade pasta was delicious. The menu had some great options and they offer daily specials. Decent wine list and pretty average prices. Service was friendly and quick. Limited amount of tables indoor and outdoor so I would recommend a reservation. They do limit your time there because of the small space. Parking lot is small.

Best Italian food in town, strongly recommend! Fast and friendly service, delicious food. This time I got my daughter a mocktail and she loved it!! We ordered the usual caprese and then two different types of ravioli. My daughter claimed she was sooooo full, but her eyes lit up when dessert was mentioned, lol 😆 We had the tiramisu Nd enjoyed every last bite of it!!

This was one of the best Italian meals I have had outside of Italy. Outstanding house made pasta can't be beat. I can't wait to go back. The staff was great also.

We went without reservations and luckily got a seat at the bar. Food was amazing, staff was friendly and timely. Drinks were great too. If you go, make a reservation and try the smoked chicken ravioli in pesto cream sauce.
