👍👍 As a Chinese, the food here is authentic and delicious. I ordered the spicy beef rice noodle soup. The soup was spiced correctly, the noodles were springy and delicious, and the bok choi was great. In all my 14 years of life in this country, there is no restaurant so far that can even hold a candle... People often mention restaurant, good, Chinese, spicy, soup, noodles, great, chicken, friendly, service,

Hands down, unequivocally, and unapologetically: my favorite (and VOTED the BEST among my circle of foodies) Chinese food in Eugene. This community, much like the Greater Pacific Northwest as a whole, has a flourishing food scene. There are many great restaurants in this area. Some though, earn that 5 Star because they are truly exceptional. Uniquely Chengdu is that exception.

What an absolute joke. I paid $13 for the daily special item “orange chicken with noodles” and was given rubbery chicken and noodles completely unseasoned—literally just boiled and thrown in the dish. Was told it would take 20 minutes, ended up taking more than 45 minutes. I tried to treat myself to a nice meal and I feel robbed. Save yourself the frustration and the money by not ever giving this place your business.

My husband and I were passing Eugene on our way to Portland and stopped here for lunch. We had spicy beef noodles, shrimp wonton and stir fried cabbage, all of which are delicious. I wish the noodles were hand pulled and more al denté but they were very flavorful so I liked them anyway.

Tbh I really think this is the best Szechuan restaurant in Oregon, even tho they kinda change the way to make dry pot that I don’t like, and their hot pot is kinda normal, but it’s all you can eat! Their BBQ ribs is amazing, boiling fish too! Never gonna miss their garlic fired vegetables, be best I can find in Oregon so far. I will always ask a box of peanuts to go, it’s nice little snacks if you don’t want something heavy while you want some snack :))

This was some of the best Chinese food I have ever eaten! If you are with a group of people I strongly suggest the whole bbq fish. We had a variety of other items that were good as well especially the kumin lamb but the fish was all I got a picture of.

I have never been to a more authentic Chinese restaurant! My friend who took me said the dishes are more North China specialty. The bbq fish is great for a group of 4 or 5 people with one or 2 appetizers. The potato and vinegar dish is almost sweet and a great appetizer to balance out the heat from the other dishes. Lots of the food is spicy but it is so full of flavor it dosn't bother me much. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new cultural food experience.

I love this place. Been coming here with my friends since I was a freshman, really great food and friendly staff. Pictured below are the General Tso’s over rice and xiaolongbao. Please give it a try!

Envy for the university students that they could enjoy such authentic Chinese restaurant just near by the campus. Mainly the menu is Szechuan cuisine (from Southwest China), which dominates the great deal of famous Chinese dishes. The owner/chef of this particular restaurant came from Los Angeles (California) and brought the best selection to northwest that we might not find easily in Seattle.

Great Chinese food restaurant on the UofO's restaurant row adjacent to the main campus. They are friendly and welcoming and have a very nice selection of classic (typical) and special dishes. Of special note are the sweet teas, which were a very nice complement to a modest dinner. They are like having dessert, they are so good. The atmosphere is simple but cozy. I would happily return here for another meal.

Sichuanese food is probably my favorite cuisine. My longtime boss is even from Chengdu. I put off eating here for over a year because I was so worried about being disappointed. Turns out, I had nothing to worry about. The space is simple and clean. When I ate there on a weeknight, the relaxing music and nature scenes on the TV almost made me fall asleep after eating. The one woman working front of house was friendly and checked on us often. The food met my high expectations. The vegetarian mapo tofu was silky and spicy and (thankfully) didn't have anything added to replace the meat. The jelly noodles were coated in savory, spicy chili crisp and looked hand-cut. I'd never had fried eggplant with green beans, but the beautiful, bright purple eggplant and somehow still crisp beans were a great non-spicy complement to the rest. The steamed rice was a tiny bit dry, but who cares? I spent about $45, including tip, for a large dinner for two and enough leftovers for several more meals. Great vegan and vegetarian options, including a marked vegetarian section.

Staff is very friendly and welcoming! Spicy fried chicken is very good, as well as other dishes like Mapo tofu, or dan dan noodles. Service is relatively fast. Would visit again

I'm begging you, please do NOT eat here! The food is vastly overpriced and they add on a service fee on top of the tip. The food I did get was not seasoned and tasted like rubber, I'm not lying when I say there was less than 1/4th of a chicken breast on top of noodles with no sauce and uncooked chunks of bell pepper. The service did not refill our water or give us napkins. All of my friends were so disappointed when we each spent $16+ on a meal. They also charge extra for all the main dishes that are already $14+! Please I beg you do not eat here.

be warned; only order the spicy Ramen if you REALLY like spice, I thought I knew what I was getting myself into.. My mouth is currently on fire, that being said- it is a very pleasant kind of burn. If you love spice, and can handle it- that ramen is for you! Deep flavor too!

Man were we blown away by this place. We have kind of slept on the Eugene Chinese food scene because we admire Portland so much, but this place stands up to any of the best Chinese spots we have been to in the country. Their soup dumplings were great and I am so glad I took the recommendation of getting shrimp dumplings as well. We ordered a David Chang netflix special amount of food and it was all delicious. This is in the heart of campus town and they are lucky to have this gem in Eugene. We will be back!

Maybe not a place for GrubHub delivery? Portions incredibly small for the price and not exceptionally tasty. I wonder whether the restaurant sees “GrubHub” order and skimps. Or perhaps the photos on their menu are from a different restaurant. Regardless, they lost customers.

The Crazy fish dish is amazing! Be warned, it's a tad on the spicy side...in a good way. :-)

The beef was not seasoned in any way, almost looks like it was steamed. The "Ramen" was not in any way pleasant... almost tasted like a gross bland chicken pot pie.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - spicy beef noodle soup (D4) and spicy hotpot noodle soup (D9). The food was good overall but the chili oil does cover the taste of the broth a bit. We were slight confused by the raw SPAM like protein in the hotpot soup as it didn’t quite fit the rest of the dish. Ambience: 4/5 - spacious shop with large windows that lets you people watch as you enjoy your meal. The store does feel older or the decorations isn’t kept up well. Service: 2/5 - only one lady managing the front of the store but she disappears to the back quite often. When we walked into the shop we weren’t quite sure if we were supposed to order at the front or sit at a table so we awkwardly stood and waited for about 2/3 minutes before she came back to the front. After we sat, she gave us a little pad and told us to write down what we wanted then walked away. There’s a sign that says they’re trying to save paper so pay at the cash register. We stood for about 3/4 before she came back up to address us. As I went through the payment process, I tried to input my phone number to get a receipt and she cancelled or rushed the prompt which doesn’t allow me to finish the process. I then asked for a physical receipt and she became a bit flustered trying to state they don’t print receipts. She did end up providing a copy! Value for price: 4/5 - decent food, reasonable price, but didn’t quite care for the service.

The food was not only good, it was very well priced (doordash price) and tasty! The Sesame chicken over noodles was $12.99 and the 6 Bao (ate one before taking the photo) $9.99, great prices for the area. The food was very good, packed very well, it included dipping sauce and arrived quickly and warm. You can tell care went into making and delivering my warm meal. Will definitely order from here again and you should try it!

I like wheat bay a lot. It’s close to the UO campus, has friendly service, and large portions. The price is slightly high, but it’s offset by the fact that you are getting two portions, one to take home.

Shrimps was good, egg drop soup was good, mapo tofu was super good. Extremely friendly staff! Would go to again

So. Good. We had Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao Chicken, stir fried cabbage, xiao long bao, and rice. Everything was delicious, the beef was tender, the cabbage was stir fried with chilies and some other aromatics, and the Kung pao chicken was that perfect salty-spicy-umami combo. The pork xiao long bao (soup bao) were juicy and delicious. We ordered at the “one chili” spice level and found it perfect. Those of you who can handle more heat can ask them to turn it up. Lots of vegetarian options, including mapo tofu, which I’ll be ordering next time we go. Also bone ramen and wolf berry chicken soup. Casual seated service or to-go orders, we ate in. Lovely music playing - sounded like a Studio Ghibli soundtrack. Prompt & friendly service.

A fantastic dining option near the University of Oregon! The establishment is exceptionally clean, boasts a pleasant ambiance, and offers a spacious dining area. The food is of high quality, and the service is both friendly and swift. An added convenience is their acceptance of Apple Pay. Additionally, there's parking available in the back, making it even more convenient for patrons.
