The fifth street market has gone through a lot of changes in the years that I've been in town. Where it used to be a conglomeration of independent small businesses run cooperatively, kind of like an indoor year-round Saturday market, now it's all owned by one guy. There's something about the experience of the market today that puts me off a little; it feels like a space that's trying to be organic well also being carefully controlled and curated. With that said, it's lovingly curated and the space is truly unique and remarkable.

What a neat little place! We were looking for a regular mall and found this little gem! Super unique shops and a really nice little grocery store / eatery on the bottom floor. We found a lot of cool stuff that we ended up buying.. Artisan pasta, little scrubby brushes, wooden utensils and a pretty decent wine selection! Clean bathrooms, shops and floors. Really beautiful and some ornate flower arrangements. They had one of the best toy stores we had ever been to, with a huge selection to choose from. We went during October and their Halloween directions were on point! They had a giant pumpkin that was being carved right before us. We enjoyed our time at this fascinating place and we'll be sure to return!

Would rate this a 1.5 if I could. This is a crazy closing time of 7pm on a Saturday night in a college town. The hall is packed and all the restaurants are closing or not taking orders at 6:40. I have no idea how they could possibly make money closing at prime dinner time. Definitely not worth it in the evening.

Excellent burgers! Great service. Quite a few new burger restaurants have sprung up around town with mediocre differences at best. Northwests Burgers sets itself apart with it's many different in-house made dipping sauces and ketchup. Quite a few different burgers to choose from including chicken or even salmon. Not going to lie, having a bar as well as outdoor seating is definitely the cherry on top for me. I'll be back for sure!

Went to Handel's Ice Cream, so good! Anytime is beautiful, night is especially beautiful. They're overhead heating and everything is spotless, with ample seating.

Yep. 5th Street Public Market, or whatever they call it these daze. Who shops here? I am. Who even eats here? It's a mystery. Yeah, they have shops here. A person could spend easily 27,000 dimes here and not sneeze a single kroner. I guess it's nice. Maybe I will come back to the meat store. The baked goods store looks fine. (We are in Eugene.). Anyway, one for two or two for three but none for free. La lala, la lala. Doot doot doo Dee Dee do. Not such a good parking lot. Oh, yeah, bring your money. Lots of money. Bye. Did get a dog from One Bad Dawg. Genuine fellow. Selling Nathan's. I ordered a Mini All-The-Way. Mimi is a normal sized Home Hot Dog. Heh. Served on a slice of bread. Maybe sourdough. Big enough for my Frank and all the toppings. A genial and enable fellow. Made me a North Carolina Dog. I was happy and well satisfied.

Nice job, Eugene! Beautiful new buildings, upscale shops, wonderful place to take out of town friends. Really glad the developer took an ugly, vacant parking lot, and turned it into a gem. Another example of why private business, not the government, should guide development in our city.

Eugene, Oregon's market is a hidden gem, offering a delightful array of products ranging from food and groceries to toys, fancy soaps, and handmade ice cream. As I stepped inside, I was immediately captivated by the market's excellent interior and exterior. The well-designed layout and tasteful decor created an inviting atmosphere that made me want to explore further. The food section was a gastronomic haven, boasting a diverse selection of fresh produce, local delicacies, and gourmet ingredients. It was a pleasure to peruse the well-stocked shelves and discover unique culinary treasures. The grocery section impressed me with its wide range of organic and artisanal products, catering to various dietary preferences. Beyond the culinary delights, the market's toy section was a paradise for children and adults alike. The shelves were adorned with high-quality toys, games, and puzzles that sparked joy and nostalgia. As I meandered through the aisles, I couldn't help but be drawn to the captivating displays of fancy soaps, their enticing scents filling the air. To top it off, the market's handmade ice cream counter was a true delight. The delectable flavors crafted with love and attention to detail were simply irresistible, providing a sweet ending to my visit. Overall, this market in Eugene, Oregon, offers a remarkable shopping experience. Its excellent interior and exterior, combined with the diverse range of products, make it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking quality goods and a delightful atmosphere.

5th Street Public Market has definitely changed over the years. I wouldn't necessarily say it's a bad thing, but also I'm nostalgic for how it used to be. It's a nice little area to visit, eat, and shop.

That was the absolute best Santa ever!!! Wish he had the big red coat but other than that he was amazing, I love how he talked to my grandson, telling him he was on his Nice List instead of asking him if he was good...I liked that. You could tell he really loved being Santa! An excellent terrific night for my grandson and I. Thank you so much!!!

Beautiful at night. The ambiance of white lights, pretty flowers and plants are throughout the market. Just an all around nice place to sit outside with a glass of wine and take in what Eugene has to offer. A truly unique atmosphere.

Super awesome place we went to right before Halloween. We are at the eatery that had a good amount of options and a full bar. We had the pulled pork Mac and cheese.

Pretty cool spot for a couple of hours stroll or grab something to eat and drink. Made in Oregon store I'd a plus to get some local souvenirs to bring home. 3 hours free parking.

Great spot for date nights. Especially in the glimmer of all the Christmas lights. We went to pain with Alejandros class for our wedding anniversary. So fun and special and great atmosphere. Although I fell pretty hard on some black ice. I'm beat up still after 4 days now.. but still it was a great time. 👍

Strange atmosphere. Being centered in a courtyard surrounded by a handful of restaurants and a bar and coffee shop. The acoustics in the place could be improved with some floating baffled plates or parachutes to dampen the echo . But it is a fairly reasonable indoor murmur... I didn't have to raise my voice too loud but at times I still had work station and customer echoes drowning out our conversation. Good place give me money for ideas of improvement.

Interesting little shops in a covered, outdoor mall. That leads to a restaurant that's inside of a hotel. We were visiting late and on a Sunday and the shops were closing up or already closed. Many restaurants and outdoor seating in the courtyard. Interesting fact is Nike's first store is located here.

We had a great time at the Gordon. They made a cute little table for us .And we did not have to wait at all to be seated during a busy night. Our waitress was very nice. All around great place.

Very interesting mix of shops and restaurants. Has a great clean look. We ate and a little food court with three good looking restaurants. Also there's a shop with African items to purchase. Very unusual. We purchased a few items from them. Given its uniqueness. Never been to africa.

We had not been there in years. The world athletics brought us downtown. The Market was even better than I remembered. Lots of good places to eat, nice shops, and pretty center area to sit and eat. There seemed to be even better food options than I remember from years before.

I was so busy taking in the incredible displays and food that I didn't get the chance to take pictures. The variety and uniqueness of the wares make this a must stop if you're in the area. I also got a coffee and pastery from the coffee shop and both were lovely.

I really like the addition they added with the shops near the Gordon Hotel, and the farmer's market on Saturdays. Fun place to chill and lots of restaurants nearby.

👍 Nice and clean plaza with a little bit of everything. The parking lot has a good flow and you can usually always find a spot. Not too much trash thrown around so it looks like. There's a bank, grocery store, a could of food places, alcohol store, and more. No complaints.
