I love this place, I get the Mezzi snack and the Medi playe every time and take home lunch for the next day. I only wish catering information was more readily available.

This has been one of my favorite restaurants in town for the past year but yesterday the staff was abhorrent and I won’t be returning. I went with a group of friends from school but brought a sack lunch to save money. The staff that brought out my friends’ food was judgmental and aggressive when telling me not to bring outside food, scoffing and throwing up his hands. Nothing wrong with this policy, but there are absolutely no circumstances where it’s acceptable to treat patrons this way. Even if you’re having a bad day, get it together and treat people kindly. I didn’t mean any disrespect by bringing my own food. The guy could’ve considered the context of why I brought lunch and displayed compassion when asking me not to, instead of scolding me in the middle of a restaurant like I have no morals. I would've liked to address this is in the moment but I was surprised and livid, and afraid I would say something stupid or mean back. Long story short, good food but the staff needs better communication skills and a change of attitude.

Tradewinds is an awesome restaurant for great Greek food and tasty handmade artisan sandwiches. They even make their own hummus! The inside eating area is kinda crowded, but the outdoor area is large and enclosed with wrap around windows. The prices here are definitely reasonable. They have a huge drink slection, and the customer service was great.

I'm not sure why it took me so long to try this place, its pretty amazing. I have to come back and sample the Greek food, this time, on a recommendation, I came for the Reuben. I try Reubens all over the area, some around here are passable, some are awful.. At the Tradewinds they are nothing short of amazing! Sure, were not in New York, I've no idea what they are like there, but for Oregon the Ruebens at this place are absolutely wonderful! Came with fries, which were hot, and yummy as well! I grew up buying sodas, beer and cigs at Jiffymart, long before the chain convenience stores moved in, so the location was familiar and comfortable. I am going back and trying more stuff, but it will be difficult not to order the Reuben again..

This place was delicious! We came here and it felt like a good spot. I love this little restaurant. The service was great, I told them I had an allergy to eggs, and they found out what I could eat. This service is very hard to find because most of the time people just go in the back and come out saying I can eat everything. I had the grilled cheese for 9.50 which had a very good price for the amount given. It had a lot of fries and a huge portion. My dad had the Italian roast beef sandwich, and again, the portions were huge for the price. A great place for a quick snack because they aren't that popular so that equals no wait time. 4.5 stars for the atmosphere.

One of the greatest spots to eat in Eugene if you love mediterranean food. I’ve been a regular going at least once a week for months now with no complaints. Make sure to get a side of hummus with your order if it does not already, it’s worth it. The medi plate with chicken will remain top tier. Will always be back for more.

A delight to eat their food. Voodoo Chicken Salad. Carefully prepared, balanced spicy and onion, tasty blackened chicken, kind helpful service. Definitely would eat there again.

The lady who took my order over the phone was super awesome, so 5 stars for customer service! But the food only gets 3 stars. Ordered the Gyro, garlic fries, and the Medi bowl with chicken. Garlic fries have a weird burnt after taste to them. You get a lot for the order, but Im not a fan of them. The Gyro has to much taziki sauce on it and the pita bread isn't that soft. The taziki sauce taste like plain yogurt. Medi bowl is filling and seems to be the best plate we ordered. My first time trying this place, and unfortunately, it will be my last.

Always a solid choice with a good variety on the menu and drinks as well. Gyros are my go to and the falafel is another winner. Very reasonable prices too.

This is a small neighborhood cafe with a community feel. We chose the Ruben and the Chicken sandwich and both were excellent. While we waited, we saw many locals who obviously enjoy the atmosphere.

The food here is incredibly good. My husband is from Greece and he had a hard time finding a decent gyro and tzatziki in town until he found this place. I love their falafel and hummus, and their fries are fantastic. I have a wheat allergy, so I have to be gluten free. They have quite a few options I can eat and I've never gotten sick from cross contamination there.

Great food and a very enjoyable atmosphere... but always shortstaffed and overwhelmed with orders. Prepare to wait 30-40 for a gyro. Wish the Owner would hire more staff, would hate to see this place lose its reputation

We just tried to place a pick up order over the phone and the person taking the call was very impolite. We placed our order, he gave us a time and we asked to add one more item and he said “you know I have a line here”. So we cancelled our order and hung up the phone. That is not the type of service you want or the type of person you want working for your business. We have loved this place in the past but will not be ordering from them again.

I did not dine in, but I felt the quality of food. They delivered to my house, deemed the review necessary. The menu items are refreshing and new, and they did not let down as far as coming through with what the menu options were, and the plates that we’re actually delivered five stars all the way around. I will definitely be eating there again soon.

Easily one of my favorites in town. Fantastic quality of food for the price, pleasant and fun staff, solid tap list for a little place, great atmosphere. I could go on. These days I almost always get the My Big Fat Pita with gyro meat as it’s so reasonably priced for the quantity and quality I’m paying for. I will mourn the day when the price goes up.

Great place to get good tasty food and drinks to choose from. Yes at times you have to be patient to be served because it can get very busy, but it's always well worth the wait to get a great plate of food every time. Great food, great people, great choice.

We always like to eat here. The service is friendly, the food is good (especially the Big Fat Greek Pita... I like the Chicken), the beer is good, and they are great with kids and furry friends (they even have dog treats and water bowls).

I’ve been here 4 times. There is only one person working the front of the house ever, so DONT come here if you want to be greeted, fast service or any hospitality whatsoever. My to-go orders were late, not sure why it takes 1 hour for a sandwich. My ketchup was put into the container with no lid, and when I asked for one, the woman almost rolled her eyes before just handing me a lid and walking away. WHAT HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE?!?! The word doesn’t exist here. The only redeeming value is the food, but that’s not going to make up for the foul experiences.

Have been here a few times now and have been happy every time with the quality of the food we've received. The gyro pitas have a generous portion of crispy gyro meat and a flavourful tzaziki sauce with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. I love the pitas they use here, MUCH better than a local competitor! Happy to have discovered they also have a few beer taps in addition to the coolers of cans. Update: Lately my favorite has been the Fresh Veg sandwich. The pesto and cheddar cheese on it combine to make a magical sandwich!

Seriously, be prepared for "the truck stop" experience. Go to the cooler and grab your bottled drink, "would you like to have a glass with that?", and then wait for over 30 minutes for a salad, some fries, and a gyro. Two of the three other couples had already been served, so it wasn't really that busy. Oh, and don't forget, you get to buss your own table when you are done eating ... glasses, bottles, plates, silverware ... yep, loads of romantic fun!

The DP falafel was very good. Next time I'll pass on the fries. I should have placed the order online. I ordered in person and it took about 35 minutes to get the food.

Lovely food from two great chefs. American fare, Greek food ,and an excellent beer and wine selection. They also sell beer and wine to-go.

I only got Greek fries but the boys hooked it up! A generous portion even for two people to share! Looking forward to trying some signature dishes in the near future

Came here first for the gyros, then discovered how good the burgers are. There's a nice semi-outdoor seating area, and the staff are kind and capable.

The best falafel in town, and genuinely good folks running the place. Tonight I or my computer accidentally added dairy to my vegan pita, and tradewinds fixed it graciously :) thank you!

I made a delivery there, and the smell was so intoxicating, I decided to give it a try. I got the 541 gyro with fries and a lavender lemonade. Everything was fantastic and the gyro was huge! I had to save half of it for later. I definitely want to go back and try some of the other menu items. The service was prompt and pleasant.
