Great spot for a quick overnight stay. Perfect location is within easy walking distance to tons of great restaurants, coffee shops, and local retail. Recently renovated, super cute retro vibe, very cozy and clean. Bed is reasonably comfy, people in the office were very friendly, and rooms have all the basic necessities. Star of the show is the incredible breakfast spread. Decent coffee, good tea selection, fresh cooked eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, and DIY waffles, plus the continental basics. All included in the cost of the room. By far the most generous breakfast offering out there at this price point. Minor downsides include: Pet fee is quite high ($50/each) and we could hear people walking around in the room above us on the creaky floor/ceiling. No biggie, would still happily return here and grab a beer in the quaint little lobby.

Loved everything about Timbers Inn. Retro PNW motel look on outside, thoroughly updated on inside. Really nice walk in showers. Rooms are cozy with lots of wood. Great walkable location with many dinner, drink, coffee places nearby. Voodoo donuts is right around the corner. Timbers provides a very nice breakfast which is higher in quality than most other lodgings we have stayed at. The indoor breakfast area is lovely and there is additional seating outside as well. Very dog friendly, our pooch enjoyed the stay also! The front office staff was so nice, in fact they came outside to hold my dog while I popped into the breakfast area to grab an early morning coffee. Would definitely stay here again when we return to Eugene.

Slightly strange motel in a good location. I like the room decoration and the rooms are pretty good but sound proofing is pretty limited. A white noise machine was useful in making it work for me. Lots of good coffee nearby but I wouldn't count too much on the free breakfast.

I stay here every time I’m in Eugene. It’s been renovated and it was done well. It’s very clean, the free breakfast is a nice way to start the day and there’s enough parking which isn’t always the case in Eugene. Front desk is friendly too :).

It's a really nice, downtown Eugene motel. Have stayed here a couple of times over the past couple of years and have been very pleased with the rooms, their cleanliness, and charm. Nicely located near some decent coffee shops, Bahn mi, Oregon art supply, and many other shops and businesses.

The Timber Inn in Eugene, Oregon is a great place to stay if you're looking for a comfortable and affordable option. The recently renovated rooms are beautiful, with modern furnishings and tasteful decor. The beds are particularly noteworthy, as they're incredibly comfortable, with soft linens and supportive mattresses that provide a great night's sleep. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient, with easy access to downtown Eugene and the surrounding area. Overall, the Timber Inn is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a cozy and stylish place to stay in Eugene.

We loved all the retro (mid-century modern) upgrades including the matching microwave and fridge. Also loved the rain shower head. The only problem was the TV was a country mile from the bed.

Really nicely renovated. By far the nicest 2 star motel I’ve ever seen. The owners hired architects to revamp the rooms and the lounge, and it turned out great! From the inside I would never know it was a roadside motel. Plus free breakfast in the morning was legit! Eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, waffles, freshly sliced watermelon and all the rest. Definitely recommend.

Wow - I’m just floored by this place. Super nice, updated and clean in a fantastic location. Plus, two microbrews on tap at the front desk. I’m smitten and trying to find a way to stay another night. Super close to great things in Eugene too!

I have not enough words to describe the good service, the rooms are spacious and totally clean, breakfast is just very good, “delicious” the location is very convenient. I recommend Timbers Inn 100% 😃

Overpriced. Old furniture stench in the room, did not feel clean. Poor decor concept. A room with two queen beds had one of them pushed against the wall, so no access on one side - strange Not enough outlets. Dead bolts not working. Uncomfortable, cheap pillows. $400/ night - not worth at all

This is a really convenient and well taken care of facility. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. We stayed on the way to the Oregon coast and on the way back to the airport. Would definitely stay again. The morning breakfast buffet is really nice and included with the stay.

Great little place! Dropped my parents off to go to the Airport at 3 am They got a reminder call, the front packed breakfast for them and helped them with their luggage! I was really happy with their service. What a great find!

We will come here again. Room is small but room cozy. Very good location and area. Window mount air conditioner. We walked all over the downtown. We were there when the students were not there so it was very calm. I am sure Eugene is very lively when college is in.

We loved this place. Modern vintage vibe, friendly people, central downtown location, very clean, good service, and nice breakfast. It feels like a family owned business who really cares. You should stay here!

This was perfect for one night in Eugene visiting U of O. We were able to walk to dinner, a grocery store, and check out the main downtown area in Eugene. The staff was welcoming, and the breakfast was very good. The room was cute and nicely updated. We will stay here again if we are back in town.

Gem in the city. Great location and clean rooms. So much detail and care went into the property. The hardwood floors and the details of the bathroom make me feel I'm in a guest house not a 'motel'. Decor and the furniture in the room and around the building is unique, specially their office building. The included hot breakfast and patio sitting were the best on our trip. Make to order waffle was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

I was here for a doctor's visit the first hotel I went to wanted to charge me $200 deposit for $89 room I called timbers inn I the nicest gentleman on the phone he gave me reasonable prices with no huge deposit the rooms were absolutely gorgeous the shower was lovely I've never had a rainfall shower before. the service was amazing breakfast too if I ever have to come back to this town I would stay here

Nice! My first time here, the place has an old world charm, simple rooms, but clean and clearly updated, especially the bathrooms. Also, I've come to not expect a lot from the free breakfasts offered at hotels, but they had all the works here, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, potatoes, waffle machine, oatmeal, orange juice, pastries etc. Would stay here again for sure.

Nice Motel. We stayed there for three nights a while ago, and for $150 per night, the intense road noise was tolerable. Now they want over $450 per night! Not worth it. Gouging prices at this and all Eugene motels/hotels right now.

Great safe location, close to restaurants. Friendly staff, easy check in/out. Rooms very clean. Yummy breakfast of fruit, cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, pastries coffee and juice. Would definitely stay again.

So far our best stay along Oregon. Included what we called breakfast. Bacon, eggs, potatoes, sausages, waffles, coffee, fresh fruits... not the prepackaged pastry we had in other hotels. Friendly staff, clean and comfy bedrooms.

Loved, loved... Loved being able to eat breakfast outside (or inside) without obnoxiously loud news on the TV. You see I like starting (setting) my day with peace and great thoughts. Morning staff was a delight and showed great care. Thanks for having us, we will visit again.

Nicely updated rooms but the air conditioner is struggling to cool off the simple small room. Also, what's up with all hotel/motels having the worst water pressure for their showers. That was something once to look forward to taking a nice luxurious shower. Especially for the price for a basic room😳

My husband and I stay here every time we are in Eugene. The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you like a bed on the softer side this is your place. The location in downtown Eugene is convenient. Try Pandita for great Mexican if you stay here! We also walked to the farmers market. Free breakfast and free parking are added perks. They keep the food fresh and hot. The gal at the front desk was always friendly and helpful.

I’ve stayed here twice despite having credit cards that offer points for stays at chain hotels. One reason is because points or not this place beats the their prices, secondly it’s an incredibly affordable price for what you get. The showers are beautiful and have plenty of products for when you forget, and they have clean rooms. Also have breakfast and most stays it’s full, I did once only have eggs but I’m not complaining it was still great!
