The rooms are super tiny, outdated, and are in desperate need of deep cleaning and repairs!!! There is literally a 1.5 foot walk way between a bed and the TV stand. The bathroom is so small my 3 year old felt cramped. Beds are in need of replacing. Needless to say, my family of 4 would have been better off elsewhere! We will not be returning customers and are disappointed by the several misleading reviews!

My rating is based on price vs services and quality received. Based on the location, services and quality received this hotel should be less than $80. I guess I was expecting more from a Wyndham property. This place is a budget hotel. Parking lot is awful, it is one way in and if you loop around the back it's one way out. So basically if you are lost upon entering or looking for your room trying to park you are forced to exit and go back on the main street. Office was tiny and cluttered behind the desk. Receptionist was nice. They said breakfast would be served in the office but I'm not sure how that is possible. Rooms are 1970 style, everything is old. Room smells like stagnant air when we walked in. The queen size bed takes up the majority of the room and there is about two feet on either side to walk around. Bathroom is also tiny and old. After I went to my room I went back down to the office to get another key. there was a guy checking in who is staring out the window. I looked out the window and saw a homeless man picking through the trash. I'm not sure if this is common or accepted in Oregon, as we are from Los Angeles, but it is definitely unacceptable and he should have been shooed way. I booked this because it was a special deal through Chase rewards and the price reflected a 3.5 / 4 star hotel. Definitely a 2 star hotel, should be $60-$70 per night. I expected way more from a Wyndham hotel. Avoid this place. I am sure there are better hotels for less than the price of this one. I will never return or recommend this to anyone. Update: Went down to get the breakfast at 8 a.m. it was packed in there, there was us, two couples, a family and there was barely enough room to turn around. Decent selection there was coffee, bananas, little cereal boxes, small size container of milk you can take, chocolate milk, bagels with individually wrapped Philadelphia cream cheese, muffins, granola bar. The coffee I can only describe as tasting like peanuts, it is not good coffee. The bagel tasted a bit fibrous, the texture after chewing was like little granules of sand. Other than that it was a nice feature and the breakfast was great.

Beds were comfortable and my kids loved the breakfast (individually packaged danishes, Grandma’s cookies, mini boxes of cereal, and fruit). Paid money for washer and dryer that didn’t work. Told gal at front desk and her response was “if you have two dollars I can give you quarters.” Not sure why I would need more coins to put in a non working machine?!?!?! Bathroom was old and gross. If you pay more than $50 a night not worth $.

Motel was clean, it was nice to have a bedroom. But some guys were smoking pot outside for like 2 hours and I could hear my neighbors having sex, multiple times. The parking spots are so small that some of the larger cars had to take up 2 spaces. Not recommended for family stays.

Great off-season rates. Older property, but clean and comfortable. WiFi was slow and left a lot to be desired. Beds were comfortable and heater was quick to take the chill off of the room. Nice centralized location in Eugene. Served its purpose for our travel needs.

Price was worth the money if you just intended to shower and sleep as I did or even if you were on a budget. Need slippers for shower if you are like me. Very basic amenities included towels shampoo (dispenser), soap, coffee, refrigerator, microwave and heater/air con. Bed and pillows were comfortable.

Close to college. Room was roomy ;) Clean inside and out. Needed minor maintenance (lightbulb/light fixture) Pool was closed our entire stay :( close to EVERYTHING. We walked all over town and felt safe but planned on relaxing at the pool. Staff was delightful. Breakfast was a nice variety with fresh fruit and juice options. We stayed here specifically for the pool -1star Maintenance should have been done prior to stay-1star

What follows is a somewhat shorter version of the written complaint I filed with motel management shortly after the events described below. I received no response. I am a 68 year old "senior citizen" and have not the slightest interest in defrauding the Broadway Inn or anyone else. 1. I chose the Broadway Inn because I had stayed there before and found it satisfactory. 2. My son and I stayed the weekend of the Oregon/UCLA game. 3. On Saturday morning both of us took showers, each about 1 hour apart. We essentially had no hot water. 4. I reported this to the front desk. The desk female desk clerk and two male motel personnel heard what I had to say. They were skeptical but pleasant. Essentially, they said there should have been plenty of hot water. 5. We had to leave Saturday evening. I told the evening desk clerk that we had no hot water and asked for a rate adjustment. Instead of simply saying he had no authority to do so and advising me to file a complaint at a later date with motel management, he said he "knew what I was doing." According to him I was trying to get money out of the motel under false pretenses. I was stunned. I asked him twice if he was calling me a liar. I took his non-response to be an affirmation. 6. He absolutely knew I was lying because "no one else complained." This was his only evidence. I told him the fact no one else complained was beside the point. He couldn't grasp the fact that maybe no one else had the problem or, if they did, declined not to file a complaint. I reminded him that he wasn't even around in the morning so had no knowledge of whether anyone else had complained. He was unfazed 7. I asked him to call one or all of the three people I had complained to in the morning to verify my story. He refused. Knowing I was leaving town he told me I could come back in the morning to complain. (I think it suddenly dawned on him that since I had complained in the morning I was not making up a story on my way out of town. Consequently, he was not about to call one or all of the three.) 8. At this point I was fed up with his bullying. I called him [names not allowed to be included in a review] . Probably not gentlemanly, but true. 9. Typical of most bullies, he could dish it out but not take it. He starting yelling at me to get out of the office, started waving his arms toward the door, and threatened to "call the cops." 10. I left. In all the years I have traveled in this country and abroad I have never been treated like this by any hotel or motel employee. I am still angry. Would I stay again? Of course not. Would I recommend the Broadway Inn? Never.

Stayed four nights and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reasonable price to stay. Clean, good beds, linens and bath towels. Old motel, that is updated, kept up nice. Centrally located, good restaurants around area. Nice continental breakfast with fruit, bagels muffins, coffee and juice, milk, 1/2 & 1/2 etc. Patio area for eating. Laundry facility, swimming pool. Nice staff!

Nice location near downtown Eugene. That sums up the positive aspects of my experience. From first opening the door to an overwhelming musty smell to check out has been a poor experience. The Wi-Fi is so weak that it should not even exist. The carpet fees lmushy in a very unpleasant way. The shower lacks a proper curtain in that it is only the cloth cover. The TV didn't have a remote and the input was switched and the front desk was no help. The manager had to be tracked down and he had the remote. As for the manager, he implied that I was hallucinating when I reported someone opened my room door with another key. I was sitting in the bed when it happened and was not mistaken. That put a real damper on the atmosphere.

This room was outdated and dirty, the a/c unit did not work and we could not get anything done about it not working, the room smelt like animal urine, just because I have a pet doesn't mean I should get a dirty room, the bed cover was dirty upon arrival. Needs updated and deep cleaning. Needs a good maintenance technician as well.

We got a room for one night, thankfully. The room had a weird smell when we walked in. There was a crack in the window, the ceiling had cracks in it, the mini fridge was nice, Comcast tv was good, the bathroom was horrible. Non-slip grip on bathroom flooring and tub are the key features, slightly overshadowed by warm shower water and an extremely slow drain flank a smelly, slightly soured shower curtain and chipped, moldy wall tile. All in all, not a bad place to sleep but nothing else.

Had a good experience here overall. Well taken care of property & clean rooms. Good continental breakfast, but the coffee needs work. The two things that need work as far as the rooms are concerned are the exposed electrical & lack of a place to plug a charger in near the bed unless you pull the bed out. The problem with this is that you can no longer walk past the TV & bed. Anywho, 4 stars!

Being an older property and a pretty low price, I wasn't expecting much. Our bed was comfortable and the a/c was nice and cold. One thing I would suggest would be a good carpet cleaning. My daughter's feet became black from just a short bit of walking around without shoes inside the room. Other than that, it was a decent place for a good price.

the room size is okay, but the room maintenance really needs improvement, some blinds are broken, the bathtub is dirty, and the toilet is leaking. good thing is that they have fridge and microwave. breakfast is terrible

Bedroom was okay. Would have liked a cleaner bathroom. Breakfast was super disappointing. No milk for the cereal along with some old packaged pastries left over. Thought pool would be fun but didn't end up using it because there were some scary people talking about the drugs they were about to do.

If you just need a non-fancy place to stay on a budget, this will do just fine. The attendant was great for a night check in which really helped to off-set the really bad experience I'd had at a hotel the night before. The room is just more outdated and the bedspread needs to be replaced along with other updates. I was woken up by some noise in front of the door and by the door/room next to me so I wouldn't say it was a restful night but that's also likely because of my long travels as well. It works for a budget stay, but look elsewhere if you want fancy.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I enjoy the fact that they have a laundry unit. People are very friendly and considerate of the guests and their needs. There are plenty of restaurants and a grocery store near by. I really enjoy staying at Broadway inn.

Have spent over a week in this conveniently located, comfortable, private upstairs bedroom equipped with a more-than-basic continental breakfast, friendly staff, and fast WiFi. Aside from other reviewers' opinions, I find the room to be above average for cleanliness for this level of hotel. Quality linens are up to par as well (loving the very plush fleece blanket- soft and warm). There is an outdoor pool but is closed for the season. Overall a cozy stay - would recommend to others.

Nice room but you could tell the beds were not cleaned. There were stains and crumbs under the sheets. On the good side the walls are fairly thick so you don't have to worry about noisy neighbors, plus the rooms are pretty cheap, had an overall good experience
