We
reserved
a
ground
floor,
handicap
room
for
my
knee
surgery
over
a
month
in
advance,
knowing
I
would
need
these
amenities
for
my
3
day
stay
after
surgery.
You
were
tickled
to
take
my
$
right
away,
but
did
not
provide
the
handicap
room,
a
microwave
(so
we
could
eat)
and
a
freezer
bigger
than
a
postage
stamp
for
my
ice
packs
I
would
need.
(Which
I
was
assured
all
would
be
available
for
my
stay
and
not
to
worry).
The
only
thing
I
asked
for
that
WAS
provided
was
2
queen
beds.
I
WOULD
NOT
recommend
this
hotel
for
Slocum
related
surgeries.
Most
the
staff
members
were
nice
and
tried
to
fix
any
problems.
However
the
one
grouchy
older
woman
at
the
front
desk,
needs
to
be
rehomed.
She
was
rude,
kept
calling
the
room
(
interrupting
the
nurses
visit)
to
ask
when
we
would
be
out-“check
out
is
at
noon
ya
know.”
I
not
only
made
late
check
out
arrangements
when
I
made
the
reservation
initially
-but
everyday
during
our
stay
I
would
call
and
remind
them.
Because
I
could
not
leave
before
the
nurse
and
physical
therapist
released
me
and
they
could
not
arrive
until
noon
Friday.
My
caretaker
had
to
remind
them
that
I
had
taken
care
of
this
already
and
the
nice
gal
at
the
desk
responded
that
she
was
sorry
-“that
employee
doesn’t
relay
her
messages
very
well.”
Or
EVER
apparently….
VERY
disappointed
and
will
not
stay
here
again.
When
I
complained
to
the
desk
and
sent
a
follow
up
email
I
was
told
they
would
look
into
it
and
I
was
given
extra
“points”
for
a
system
I
don’t
use
🤔
