At this hotel you will be pleased with the staff as they are very kind and care about their visitors which is always a plus. The location of the hotel is 2 miles away from U of O. But the rooms here are horrible. Firstly they have a strict no pet policy but oddly enough the people below me had dogs that barked all night long. They also have a smoke free hotel but the curtains in my room and my comforter had burn holes in them. Looking deeper into my room the bed side tables were missing there handles the door that closes on the tv stand was jammed shut with tissues to keep it shut. We had no toilet paper holder or toilet paper for that matter neither did we have tissues. The towels that were in the room were dirty and the bath room had mold growing by the tub, which is no surprise because when you turned on the shower it sprayed EVERYWHERE even over the curtain. The king size bed was comfortable but the pillows were lumpy and the toilet ran (tried to fill up with water) for over an hour after use making it hard to sleep. The tv channel changer didn't work as I couldn't change the channel or volume or really anything and was missing the back of the remote. This stay was less then pleasant. I'd highly recommend staying anywhere else not worth the $$$.

We had a pleasant stay at Econo Lodge. The king sized bed was comfortable and had the right amount of bedding, including a top sheet, a blanket and a lightweight bedspread, so that we weren't too hot or too cold. It was easily adjustable to our needs. The room was small, but was fine for our short stay. It was clean and I didn't notice any noise from the other rooms. We would stay there again.

Very friendly desk staff. The room was fine, the bed was comfy and it was clean overall. A few minor oddities though. There was only one half of the toilet paper bracket in my room, so the roll was just sitting on top of the cistern. Then the stopper in the bathroom sink was stuck in the down (closed) position and when I tried to open it, I pulled the little tab off the top. Thankfully there were two sinks in the room, and the other one worked fine. I don't know if it's the case elsewhere in the motel, but they have these really harsh white lights in the rooms. That's a minor complaint though. Overall really good for the price! I had a nice stay for the one night I spent there as I was passing through Eugene

My work crew and general manager stayed here for a week, and we had reservations for a 2nd week. We won't be back. Housekeeping cleanliness was unacceptable; dirty towels put in clean stack, bed made with dirty sheets. Ants. Moldy food left in refrigerator. Missing bed frames. Entering rooms with Do Not Disturb signs. Stacked garbage outside rooms. Unacceptable. I wouldn't give any stars, but this forces me to.

I want to start with saying that the staff was very kind and helpful! However, the cleanliness of the hotel is far from acceptable. Moldy shower curtain, sunflower seeds and wrappers from the previous guest, stains on the comforters, filthy walls. It really wouldn’t be a bad hotel if they actually cleaned it.

Bitten by Bed bugs both of us especially my wife at several locations with severe allergic reactions swollen red badly. We had to leave in the middle of the night. Called Choice Hotels to cancel the next day and get the refund for the first night. The hotel refused to refund the first night but did allow cancelation for the second night. Choice Hotels stepped in to give us the refund for both nights. Towels, pillows were so old and smelly with someone else's long hair stuck on. Beds were in bad condition furniture don't shut properly, etc... By far this hotel was the worst of all hotels I've stayed at. I travel often for business but have never experienced this bad condition. The only good was the front lady was kind to understand our situation. I just cannot recommend this hotel because I don't want anyone else to experience what we experienced.

The room had a weird smell and mold We had to go and get air freshener. Wascwill to loose my money and find a different hotel but all the hotels in the area were booked out. There was mold in the room. Towels were dirty. Refrigerator and microwave was dirty. Pillows and bedfing were stained so we went and bought our own bedding and towels.

I stayed at this hotel on June 25th 2020 and had , hands down, the most unpleasant and unfair treatment I have ever received at a hotel. I had a friend help me bring my things into my room and with cleaning and moving out in the morning. She had her very well behaved service dog with her both times but they did not stay for more than 15 minutes either time. The room was left cleaner than it was when we checked in and we even tipped house keeping to be nice. I returned the keys and checked out at the appropriate time and was told nothing about the fact I was going to be charged 100 dollars for violating a no pet policy which was never explained to me. I was never told this because there was no legitimate reason for this charge. When I discovered the charge on my account I contacted the hotel and the lady I spoke with, who said she was the manager, refused to give me any info on the reason for the charge or to even give me her name. I was very reasonable in explaining the situation and she refused to speak, said I was abusing her, and just simply hung up the phone on me every time I tried to call and discuss this issue with her. This is childish behavior she is using to dodge answering my questions on the charge. All she said was I violated a no pet policy which was never explained to me. I would not recommend staying at this hotel to anyone. Rooms are very much in kept up and staff is shady , always looking for a way to con guests out of whatever money they can, and the rudest staff I have ever encountered. All front desk and management should either be retrained on how to offer actual customer service or they should be fired. Worst hotel experience ever.

Cheap but could use an upgrade and new sheets and towels. There was hair under the sheets and all over the pillow case. Tables were dusty sink had water all around it and had hand prints. But staff was nice and helpful

No idea why people have left such bad reviews! The room was extremely nice and very clean! Entire staff were very friendly and helpful. The housekeeper kept up with everything and we stayed for 5 nights. Quiet motel, no ruckus from other guests or anything. Super nice bath/shower, the shower head has three settings which makes it very comfortable. No bugs, not even ants which infest almost everything in Eugene. I would also like to add, if you book a suite at an Econo Lodge, it’s not going to be like a suite in a Marriott. That’s why the prices are so low. We stayed in the suite room and it was very nice! Living room area with a couch and two queen beds as well as a microwave and a mini fridge!
