I am a straight shooter. Here are the pros and cons. Room was okay. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay. Rooms need to be checked for maintenance repairs. Our patio door on 1st floor had a broken lock mechanism and the tub stayed half filled when showering. The biggest disappointment was that we chose this hotel because we wanted to use the pool. Well....the pool was filthy and we wouldn't put our bodies in a dirty pool and one that, in turn, probably didn't have the chlorine and other disease killing chemicals balanced. (My husband is pool certified and he said the pH balance was off because the water was foggy. There was dirt in the pool also.) The person that checked me (male) in was very nice. Not impressed with the young girl that checked us out. Love that they were pet friendly. For a premium priced hotel, I would have expected less discrepancies. Saying someone is too busy to clean the pool is not acceptable especially when it may be one amenity that attracts a customer. No military discount. Where is your patriotism? Would I stay here again? No.

The first room we reserved (311: a king suite) had ants. We were immediately moved to a new room, but it was a downgrade (307: king with sofa bed) and we weren't provided a discount or any money back for not being able to use the larger room with fridge/freezer that we needed. We were told we could use the freezer in the lobby office, but that isn't exactly convenient when we paid for a room that should have come with one. The second room we were moved to had a tiny fridge with no freezer, but no bugs thankfully. Neither room felt sanitary however, as there was another guest's hair in our bed in the second room and a tiny blood spot on the sheet. It's also a bit ridiculous that the sofa bed (in either room) doesn't come with any linens provided and there are no extra linens in the rooms. Furthermore, in the second room, the water in the shower felt like it was being boiled with the surface of the sun no matter which way you turned the dial. It also made a loud screeching sound. On the upside, we couldn't hear hardly any noise from other guests in our room. We only stayed for one night and it was too ashy from forest fires outside to use the pool, so I can't speak on the cleanliness of it, but based on the rest of our hotel experience, my guess is that it's probably not great. The breakfast area was tiny, dimly lit and there weren't a lot of food options available compared to other Best Westerns we've stayed in. I would not stay here again.

I stayed here for one night, RM 218. July ‘22. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable (queen). Looks like most rooms have a balcony, I didn’t even use mine, but it looked nice. The only draw back I had was most of the wall outlets were worn out and chargers would fall out very easily. I reported it to the clerk and they said it would be fixed right away. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. Eggs, potatoes, sausage for me. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m in town.

Rate Increase at Check-In Booked a room through Best Western website using military rate, as per conditions laid out on website. Called and spoke with front desk staff several weeks before check-in to confirm rate and add pet without issue. On day of check-in, front desk staff called at 8 pm (we were arriving late) to inform us that the confirmed booking with military rate was no longer going to be honored but I could stay and pay double the cost for the room that I booked. Front desk staff was polite but last minute rate changes are unacceptable and unprofessional regardless of reason, and are a sign of poor management with no sense of accountability.

We have stayed here a couple times in the last couple of years, and have had a so-so experience. Breakfast was cold, eggs were rubbery, hot water was barely hot - we were told later that there were issues with the hot water (which we were never told upon check-in, we found out the hard way). Beds were comfortable, and access off of I-5 makes it great for traveling. We had planned to stay here again in a couple months, however there's apparently an event the same weekend we are coming into town, so the hotel jacked their prices up to $300+ per night!! Since we have previously stayed here, we know this hotel is not worth $300 a night! That makes it more expensive than the nicest hotel in the area!! I thought price gouging was illegal!! This is absurd!! The last time we were there, the staff told us whoever sets their pricing does this every time there's an event!! Needless to say, we booked a better hotel, for half the price, and won't be returning to this specific hotel.

I had do some contracted work here from morning till night. Top notch hard working professionals here. Every room I saw which were many were pretty nice even though it was cleaning time/day just before weekend. I travel in Oregon pretty often, and stay overnight in motels. All staff were so nice, very hard to match that elsewhere nowadays. Place is safe in good location and smells and looks clean and refreshing with many improvements. Best motel management around trying to make this place real nice.

Room was nice, but bed was way too soft for me. You sink into it not lay on it. This was fine but the company billed my card 3 times for the room. When I called to question the 2 extra charges the woman I spoke with was extremely rude and just rushed me off the call. An hour later I checked my banking account and they had charged me again!! Very big hassle that has but a big damper on my vacation since a lot of my funds are tied up for miss billing from this motel!

Perfect location with a brewery and many restaurants right around the corner. Staff are pleasant and professional. Rooms are spotless and large. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a budget hotel chain.

Its on a great location wrt how close its to other restaurants, shopping areas and even the highway. The rooms were definitely on the bigger side for a BW. Cleanliness of the room was on point. Our check in was fine and our kids were eager to use the pool which was advertised heated and an outdoor pool. However after 5 mins in the pool, the kids came out shivering saying the water was too cold. There were other people by the pool, but no one was actually entering the pool...so i guess the water wasn't really at a heated temperature. We decided to wash off our dusty clothes of the day and it took us a while to get the change for the washing machine from the front desk. The front desk only always had one person available and there would be almost always a line of people waiting for him. Once we put our small load of clothes to wash, we realized the dryer wasnt working..We again had to get in line to ask the front desk to help us and he said he could bypass the payment for the dryer to get us to dry clothes. We appreciated the help but the simple thing of running a small load of clothes had become a chore by then because of the number of times we had to wait for the front desk person to help us. Nonetheless the beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Breakfast was okay because the food seemed to be getting over quick without anyone being able to refill it, so we were waiting for things to be filled for much longer than we had hoped for. I just recall that either due to unavailability of items it appeared that they have less array of food in the buffet or they truly did have fewer items than usually expected.

I liked my clean, quiet, spacious king bed room. The website let me pay with points, but good room rates even without points. Almost as cheap as air bb. Breakfast actually good. A stones throw from the Tesla Supercharger.

This is a great place to stay. It is easy to access off the freeway and close to many restaurants and shopping. The staff are very efficient and the room was well maintained. This time of year is beautiful with the changing colors of the trees. This is the second time we stayed at this hotel this year, and we were not disappointed.

Interior is a bit dated and worn in spots. But it was clean and comfortable for our one night stay. Complimentary breakfast buffet was better than others we have experienced recently so that was a plus. Convenient location and adjacent to several reasonable food options.

If you have a car - this place has a very good parking lot that's secure, it was my primary reason for staying here so very happy with that and it felt safe The room is spacious although a little older. Breakfast is OK. The food choices nearby are walkable distance

Title: A Deplorable Experience: Best Western Grand Manor's Staff Discards Valuables with Disregard Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at the Best Western Grand Manor, and I cannot express my disappointment and frustration enough. Not only did the hotel fail to provide a satisfactory level of service, but their staff members went to the extent of throwing away my personal belongings that were left in my hotel room. This incident has left me deeply dissatisfied and I strongly advise against choosing this establishment for your accommodation needs. Upon discovering that I had forgotten some items in the room after checking out, I immediately contacted the hotel's front desk. Instead of showing any empathy or concern, the staff members were dismissive and unhelpful. They made no effort to investigate the situation or retrieve my belongings. In fact, I was appalled to learn that they had simply disposed of my personal items which in value were over $800, without any attempt to reach out to me. Such blatant disregard for a guest's possessions is utterly unacceptable and reflects a complete lack of professionalism and responsibility. The staff's lackadaisical attitude towards this matter was infuriating. It is the duty of any reputable hotel to ensure the safekeeping of guests' belongings and to take appropriate measures when items are found in rooms. Their failure to do so demonstrates a severe negligence of their responsibilities and a complete disregard for the value and sentimental attachment that personal belongings may hold. Moreover, the lack of any compensation or apology from the hotel management further exacerbates the situation. Instead of taking responsibility for their staff's actions, they simply brushed off my concerns and refused to acknowledge the gravity of the situation. This level of customer service is not only appalling, but it also shows a complete lack of accountability and a disinterest in maintaining a positive relationship with their guests. In addition to this incident, I must mention that the overall quality of the hotel was subpar. The cleanliness of the room was questionable, with visible stains on the carpet and furniture. The amenities promised on their website were not up to standard, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable at best. The lack of attention to detail and the general disregard for guest satisfaction were evident throughout my stay. Considering the appalling treatment I received from the staff and the hotel's utter negligence in handling my lost belongings, I strongly advise against choosing the Best Western Grand Manor. Their unprofessionalism, lack of care, and disregard for guest satisfaction are unforgivable. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by seeking alternative accommodation options that prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of their guests.

The very best part of stay was the AMAZING customer service we experienced. Aaron at the front desk was incredible from the moment we arrived. Our day actually started out not great with some terrible customer service at our car rental company and Aaron completely turned our day around. It is not often you experience amazing human beings who are so pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend this hotel, you won't regret it!

Aaron, at the desk, was helpful. He recommended Hop Valley restaurant and brewery for dinner, conveniently located across the street, food was phenomenal. The king room on 3rd floor with balcony was very large and comfortable and clean. Breakfast was not lacking, I will definitely be back here for another stay. Aaron thank you for a pleasant stay.

After opening our door we realized the room wasn't cleaned, it was filling with trash and stripped bedding. The front desk worker said they had no other comparable rooms. Mind you this was 5 o'clock at night after traveling half the day with a 1 year old. We were given a room with one bed and a pullout instead and not credited anything back. I usually love best westerns, the ice machine was down, the gym out of service, the cable box kept falling off the wall, it was not a good experience.

Aaron, at the desk, was very helpful, thank you for a pleasant stay. We had a King room with balcony 3rd floor, very clean, thank you housekeeping. Very large comfortable room with sofa, work desk, fridge, micro , coffe pot in room. The bed was so comfortable, wish we had more time to stay. Aaron recommended Hop Valley restaurant and brewery for dinner and it was phenomenal and conveniently located across the street. We will definitely be back again.

Clean room, good breakfast. Nice pool. The only hiccup was the room won't open, cuz the it was locked from the inside. After we were re assigned another room, we got a knock on the door, the staff were trying to check for empty rooms. The room was a bit dark with bulbs out, but got plenty of space for two people. It is almost like a mini suite. Easy access to local restaurants. All within walking distance. You have got to try the Hop Valley brewery and restaurants across the street. Even if you don't drink beer, their menu was great.

Very pleased with this hotel! It was prices well, easy to book, checked was speedy, and the hotel interior was excellent. We did check in late in the evening and had to leave before the continental breakfast but where they host it looked very inviting. They had placed us in a handicap room but upon check in they asked us if we were needing it and we said no. The front desk man asked if it was ok to upgrade us to a sweet so they could Keep that room open incase someone needed it. I thought that was above and beyond! Highly recommend and will for sure stay here again.

The people I encountered that worked at this place were absolutely the best part of my stay. Sure the rooms were well above the quality of a motel 6 or whatever, and not a Ritz Carlton either. But they throw down a breakfast bar that's just a rung lower than your aunt Margaret's kitchen when y'all came on down and stayed a spell last summer on that family trip to Georgia. They have the most reasonable pet policy in the industry and I challenge you to find out for yourself. Call around, ask a few places ave see what's up.. Go ahead I'll wait...

Last minute booking at Springfield, OR. The hotel is somewhat of a hidden gem. Great location. Close access to shopping and dining. The room itself was everything I hoped it would be. Dog friendly, clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable. We had a pleasant stay.

Good size room, very large. The separated vanity to the toilet is efficient. Not exactly my preference. Breakfast arrangement is great, many options. I would definitely come back to this BW.

Was great. Good room, wonderful bed. Breakfast was good. Only one small problem. Had to waint 15 min for cold water to turn warm. Never got hot. So we just waited. Otherwise great stay.

Temporary issue as the motel was without hot water. Plumbing Company was not sble to address the issue until the following day. Management offered a refund or a 50% rate reduction. I took advantage of the rate reduction. Otherwise, we enjoyed the usual Best Western hospitality.
