They say non-smoking, but when you enter the room it does have that subtle but noticeable smell of cigarettes. I did not really mind it. Bed and bathroom were clean and operational. Service desk was prompt. Cleaning services were good. It was quiet and if you just need a budget place to sleep at night, I had no issue with it.

Place looked clean, no bugs, nice enough blankets. Only big issue was the front desk guy woke me up at 9:30 (for context, I went to bed at 4:30am after a LONG drive & had to wake up at 10:15 for work) knocking on my door to ask if I was “checking out.” How about I tell you that at checkout time in an hour and a half, genius 🤦🏻‍♂️ Edit: The front desk guy then called my room at 10 (30mins later) to ask the same thing after I decided, “ya know what, screw it, I’ll take an extra 45 mins of sleep since I already got so little.” Ripped out of my tiny bit of extra sleep early by the front desk, twice in one morning. If the fridge in the room wasn’t better than normal & the blankets weren’t softer than usual, I’d have given 2 stars after this.

The whole room smelled of smokers, like when you get in a car of a person who smokes. After I woke up in morning, I went to get a decent cup of coffee at 8:30am and came back to the room at 9am intending to do some work and catch up on emails before checking out. When I pulled up to the grubby building my room was in, I saw that the door to my room was was wide open! I called out and went inside and there was nobody in there and nobody around. The bed was stripped and there was a set of new folded sheets sitting nearby, so clearly someone had started to clean my room before they bothered to see if I was checked out yet. My clothes were still in the room, as was my $800 camera that was plugged in to wall, charging with the door left wide open!!!! Unforgiveable. I grabbed my stuff and left.

Very nice service! Hot water, a comfy bed, and a cozy layout. Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels.

The rooms are clean but old. They have done what they can to make it look nice. As far as Motels go it is on the upper end.

upon arriving you can clearly see they are hard at work renovating the hotel! I was greeted by the new owner and he was so friendly! we had just had a horrible experience at another hotel and it was a breath of fresh air...literally! we were checked into a BRAND NEW renovated room. He came to by to get our thoughts on the room no one has stayed in yet :) It smelled clean, everything was neat and organized. We were ecstatic to check into this room. You can see the hard work being put in to make this hotel a nice spot on Hwy 99. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to lay their head for the night! This hotel, under new management has all the potential in the world! Thank you for your hospitality.

Management is superb. Great family run business. AJ is the best!! He treats me like I'm family, and that means a lot. The room is very quaint, and spacious. Other than the train whistle blasting at night and the traffic whizzing by, it's a quiet, nice, relaxing little place. Think I might stay for a while 😊 Could use an ice machine and a vending machine though!! Would definitely recommend!

The new owners are remodeling this very used hotel so it is coming up. Our room was fresh paint & new carpet a nice change for sure! This hotel is the closest location to the airport which is very helpful for those early morning flights.

I recently had an unexpected travel mishap and was able to find a room here at a moments notice. My room was clean and comfortable. The new owners are courteous and helpful and they go the extra distance in assuring your room is to your satisfaction. I would stay here again. and will recommend it to others. Thank you Royal Inn.

It's our place to stay when we have an early flight at the airport. Very clean and very close to the airport. A.J. always sets us up with a good, newly remodeled room.

Newly renovated.. very very nicely done. Not happy it didnt have vending machines and a better make up mirror. Other than that it was surprisingly nice.

Management was very friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in.. the room we got was very clean and in great condition the bathroom was well stocked the blankets and pillows were soft and comfortable all around great experience.. will definitely be staying here again and again..

Newly Renovated rooms! Amazing new LG fridge in the room. Bigger than most for hotels. Owner was friendly and attentive. Place is very clean highly recommended!

A weary traveler who needs solid sack time in a clean and recently refurbished room with a bed will cry with relief here. I did. Hot shower with great pressure and a scrupulously clean room. I consider Royal inn a hidden gem and will use it again in the future. Lovely, responsive staff.

¿I was wondering if you could smoke outside your motel door or on the property? I wonder if you can order food to the motel room Last time I was there you can tell that the soap they put in the bathroom was opened. Another time they didn’t leave soap. I have stayed here over 10 times and I hope it gets better and not worst.

Outside of downtown in the industrial part of town so it might make you think twice about it but it was very clean and we'll maintained. The manager was very polite and very clean cut. The rooms were clean and had all the creature comforts, they have recently been remodeled. This is a good place if you're looking for a place to drop off your bags while you're out doing fun stuff and sleeping in between the fun stuff.

Great hospitality! All the rooms I tried looked very spacious newly remodeled and clean. I did not stay because the rooms smelled like chemicals. My best guess is outgassing from some of the materials used in remodel. I had a prepaid reservation, and the management was very accommodating, showing me several rooms, and refunding my stay. I think that what ever I smelled will not be there by the time you read this.

Excellent customer service by the office staff. The motel room was very clean and accomadating. Safe parking and motel is close to the airport, mininmarkets, and food establishments.
