Emily at the office was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The cleaning staff could take some lead from her. The rooms were filthy, cheese stuck to the ceiling. Sticky floors and counters. The price was great but my crew has voted not to stay there until they clean it up. We were down here two years ago and it was much cleaner then.

This property has the potential to be an overwhelming success. The fact that it is one of the only hotels that has a kitchen and full size refrigerator would make it a great choice for anyone visiting the Eugene/Springfield area for an extended stay. Unfortunately the reality of it is that largely due to the fact that it IS an extended stay hotel it has a client base that leaves much to be desired. The walls are paper thin and the screaming and fighting of the tweakers who are up all hours of the night and the kids screaming and police constantly there make it a truly nightmarish experience all around. The TV remote batteries were not in there and the front desk said they were out of them so I paid out of pocket to replace them. I also prior to moving anything in there I purchased magic erasers and clorox spray cleaner and cleaned the room from top to bottom. There wad blood spatter on the ceiling and walls there was a tip to a syringe under the table and chairs, I watched as the shower changed colors 4 times from a dingy tan to an almost white by the time I was done. I repaired the dresser which kept tipping due to the anchoring bracket having been ripped from the sheet rock. The under sink area in the kitchen the cabinets in the kitchen and the floor were done of the most vile and disgusting I've seen in 25 years in the hospitality industry. To conclude the potential cash cow of a property is instead almost guaranteed to lose it's branding from red roof inn due to the manager being completely overwhelmed. She is overworked under staffed and seems to be experiencing burn out as a result of just inexperience coupled with a lack of coaching and an inability to get a stable staff who are reliable and actually do their jobs. Without someone intervening this poor woman is going to have a break down or just become so complacent that she will ultimately quit or be fired as a scape goat for the property failing to meet its corporate standards and red roof taking their name off the building. It is very sad to see such a property doomed to bankruptcy if it continues on this way

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced. First off, the bathroom was dirty. On our second night, the people were running around their room upstairs and it was so loud. Additionally, there was a domestic violence situation in the room next to us and it sounded like someone was being thrown against the wall. My mom called the front desk, demanding someone to have either the front desk or police check out the situation. We had to call three times before they even called the police because they said calling was my mom’s responsibility?! The noise stopped for awhile and then we heard a woman scream, so my mom called the police herself. We were so scared that one of the people next to us had a weapon so my mom and I hid in the bathroom. I have never felt so unsafe at a hotel before. Also, there’s like no soap? Save yourself by not staying here. I hope we get our money back.

I am disabled and am in a wheelchair. My daily life is VERY DIFFICULT for me to just get comfortable. I was so relieved when I got into My room. It was spacious, wheelchair accessible, had an amazing heater/ AC. The employees were amazing and made me feel at home and were the upmost polite. I love the energy they give there , other motels/hotels just don't have.

I have stayed at Hometown off and on. The office staff is very accommodating and understanding. In my opinion they need to get paid more. They're just doing their job, but a lot of the customers that come to this location disrespect and trash the place. The rooms are filthy! I do not know why no one is taking care of the hardwood floors especially. There is a lot of drug use in the rooms. I have walked by on the third floor and have smelled people smoking drugs and cigarettes. I am giving an honest opinion. I would not feel safe bringing my children here either. I felt very uncomfortable having some strange guy smoking cigarettes right outside my room on the stairs. I cannot really give a good review through my own experience. If you can afford a more expensive place my suggestion stay away from this place. There has been a lot of homeless people also camping outside, drug use in and around building. I do want to give a good review about the staff though. My heart goes out to them because they're really truly are trying to do their job. The maids could be cleaning the rooms a little bit better specially the hardwood floors. I have picked up black hairs all over the shower even on the ceiling I sent a picture to a friend I cannot believe that there would be hair on the ceiling

Room only had one working burner (the little one) and it didn't even seem to be getting that hot. Luckily I brought my air fryer and cooked my steak in that. The little burner wasn't even hot enough to grill mushrooms had to throw them in the Air fryer after my steaks. Otherwise the rooms were fine. It was just really disappointing picking a place specifically with a kitchen and not being able to really use the stove.

We came to this hotel on a work trip and upon arriving the scene of the hotel was not very pleasant to look at. The lady behind the counter that helped us was nice and courteous. Then when walking to the room there was dog feces on the sidewalks, peoples belongings, etc. When actually walking into the room I was met with torn blankets on the bed, stains EVERYWHERE in the room, and other bodily fluids that were dried on the walls. It gave very bad vibes so we immediately packed up and were granted a refund. I do not reccomend this hotel at all!!

It takes a LOT for me to leave a bad review, but this place sickened me. I checked in and was sent to a filthy room, the front staff were very sweet, but it was clear the only thing that had been cleaned was the bedding and fresh towels put in. The floors were dirty and sticky, the countertops hadn’t even been wiped off. There was brown stuff smeared on the wall in both the main area and the bathroom— the toilet hadn’t been cleaned either.

This hotel is HORRIBLE….. The outside was very TRASHY and UNSAFE. Car in the parking lot had broken windows with trash bag’s taped over the windows. Homeless people just roaming the parking lot. As soon as I got out of my vehicle, you could smell the body odor. Definitely some hard core drug activity there. People just sitting in their vehicles, or outside their room, watching you….I will NEVER recommend this hotel for anyone else to stay there. I had checked in, never made it to my room, went back to office and told them I was not staying and to check me out. Told the desk person the hotel was horrible and UNSAFE… Would not refund me, but there was no way I would stay there.

Filthy and sketchy. The place smelled terrible. There was mold on the shower curtain. We found drug paraphernalia along with a white powder that I’m assuming was drugs behind the lamp. We slept with our clothes on because it was so horrible. I’m trying to add photos but it’s not working to upload. I got charged $170 for this place because hotels were booked in the area. Really sketchy.

Worst Hotel Service, no Service after 11 PM. I was getting late so I called and informed them. Got assurance that someone will be there to check in and help. I reached at 11:20 PM with my family including my newborn, no one was there, no one picking the phone. I had to roam around in mid night with family to look for another room and somehow managed to get room at 2 AM in almost double price.

I had a late check-in and they were very accommodating. Had a great night. Friendly staff. Clean room. They did accept my service animal but they don't accept pets.

This place is bad. So dirty. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Stains all over the bedding and no towels in the room. We found hair in the sheets. Ashes on the nightstand. No surfaces were wiped down. When we requested clean blankets there were currently none available so we had to go buy our own blankets. The receptionist was very friendly and it was not her fault. She was expected to run the entire place alone. There is nothing being done about this and It’s crazy that it cost $111 a night for a place like this. Everyone has an expectation when staying in cheaper places of course, but this was unacceptable. Spend your money somewhere else. I wish I would have read the reviews before booking. Many people are complaining about the same thing and nothing has been done about it.

The room was pretty clean. Beds clean and comfortable. Price acceptable for someone on a budget. However, when I pay for a motel room, I expect to at least have a bar of soap to use. Even when we asked for some at the desk, they did not have any. It is my opinion during this pandemic of Covid 19, I deserve a large discount for the lack of sanitation products afforded to us. And not even being provided when asked for???? If we hadn't been so tired, we would have gone elsewhere.

The front desk staff went over and beyond to accommodate me at my arrival. I was very impressed. I rented for my nephew and his gf for10 days. Unfortunately, they made a bad decision and were asked to leave after 7 days. I felt horrible and embarrassed. I may be out of a refund for the remaining 3 days. I'm hoping that when I speak to the manager in the morning that we can come to a compromise on a refund. Everything else was 👍.

Literally the dirtiest hotel I have ever seem in my entire life. ....I'm not kidding. The shower curtain was cloth and not water proof and it was pink only from mold. Trash was stacked up and flys and maggots were spilling out of the heaps under the stairs. The elevator floor was so dirty it looked like it had never been cleaned. The covers are never washed sp expect your bed to bed to be gross. They put the dirty blankets we took off and left on the floor in the corner while we used our clean ones from home back on the bed when we left making our clean home bed clothes dirty. The place is just nasty and the cleaning staff don't care at all. I got a cold from the germs while staying there....it's that gross. I think the staff should be ashamed at how they run that place. Bring bleach, your own everything..including shower curtain and towels, blankets and pillows. ...good luck. Ew.🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮

The queen beds advertised are only doubles. Door sticks, drawer won't stay closed. Stove is gross. Linens aren't all clean. Smoking space outside makes things just a bit nastier. Will be pursuing a refund.

Just made a straight through 24 hr drive to Eugene and our company booked us here. We called at 6am to see if we could get an early check in (around noon) and they said yes. We get there right around noon and they say they have no rooms available but they will call when ready. We wait... 230 rolls around and nothing. We decide to just drive back... Sure enough people were being checked in before us.. I had asked why we never got a call. The girl(a different one from earlier) responded with, "it was the other girl and she's pregnant" I responded with, "what does that have to do with me and her calling me" she just mumbled with an attitude and gave us a 3rd floor room, I could tell it was out of spite... We are staying for 3 days. We work at 6pm and wanted to get a nap in. This service would have helped us tremendously to enjoy our stay... I'm already ready to leave this place. We are exhausted. And tried to prevent us from feeling this way but failed. Thanks.

If you're looking for a drug dealer that's where to find it. Rude girl at counter upon checking in told me no pets were allowed. I had called before booking to verify. I also saw many dogs in the building. The shower was filthy and neither of us wanted to risk it. The maintenance guy in the morning blew dust in my husband's eyes. If we had a choice we wouldn't have stayed

Disgusting. If your from out of town don't mistake the low price for a good deal. Every item from the shower curtain to the drapes were filthy. The bedding was stained as were all the towels. The floors were so dirty I didn't dare take off my shoes. The smell of body odor and drugs is rampant throughout the entire property. Unsafe and dirty. If I could leave negative stars I would. Be wary of super . Com it's the third party app that we booked through. The pictures were not accurate. Do not bring children to this place. It would be child neglect.

Great place to stay, better then a motel 6 for sure. Decent location. Staff is always friendly and the service is pretty on spot. Price isn't bad compared to most places. Would stay again.

It's been a while since I stayed there. This is just a notice to the public based on my experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were filthy. I never saw any attempt at maintaining a professional establishment regarding housekeeping. I mean this place was completely filthy. I would recommend spending 20 more dollars for a better experience in the area.

Not the best place to stay. TV doesn't work, can't get onto wifi, no ice, floors & shower are dirty!! Lots of people hanging out in the parking lot, smoking weed & who knows what else!!!! Girl in the office was really nice. But it's a dump.

Wouldn’t take me and my partners reservation. The staff was very flirty with my partner for this visit. The new staff kinda suck. But other then that I did stay here before and it was good. The owners are really friendly and last Halloween they made the stay pleasant.

I had a great experience here. The location was central, near many restaurants (and other shopping) and close to the freeway entrance (I-5 and the Beltline), a real plus. The room was clean and quiet, giving me a feeling of simple comfort. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Having a refrigerator in the room was a real plus. The shower had great water pressure and warmed up right away. The price can't be beat. If you're looking for a nice affordable place to stay while in the Eugene/Springfield area, this is your place!

This place has been very good to me and my husband all the times we have stayed here the front desk staff are great my favorite is Alisha she's suck a sweetheart very helpful and deserves a bonus or raise . And the other front desk staff out pretty cool but there is one that we weren't crazy about and I think her name is Emily she's always rude and not very friendly at all. I would recommend this place to family friends and anyone else looking to stay here it's well worth the price .l

Front desk is friendly, cheap hotel so you get what you paid for. No pillow cases or towels available, ants all over the floor, dark long hairs all over the shower. Definitely watched a homeless guy try and open my car door! It's not the worst if you need a place but there are better places to stay.

So far so good. The room is a handicap room and is really big with a reg size fridge and small stove. Plus sink and microwave and plenty of shelf space. The walls are crazy thin but we only have one neighbor. I don't like that the vending machines are card only and there is no quarter machine to do laundry. There was cereal on the floor in my room and the fridge was not in its place. That was a little strange. But for the most part things are just fine. I'll be here for a while so I'll update this if anything changes.

It was a nice stay, the staff were hardworking and well accommodating. When we first arrived, Emily was working super hard to help everybody get checked in and into their rooms. She helped us set up our wifi and even gave us a recommendation for Fall Creek which was beautiful. Love that it’s so close to the strip mall and was pretty quiet.

  • 1/5 Cheryl K. 10 months ago on Google
The ladies at the front desk were very nice and tried to accommodate. Unfortunately this is one of those places you get what you pay for. The first room we were offered reeked of cigarette smoke. The second room smelled of mildew, one of the beds, the bedding was removed and sitting on a table, the other bed had pieces of hair every where, and the elevator reeked of urine. Sadly this is a place where the slum stay for cheap. We couldn't do it so we left and went to another hotel. If you're a drug user, homeless or looking for a place to take your lady of the night this is the place for you. To the ladies at the front desk I truly appreciated you and please leave that place, you're both beautiful and so much better.

I received Excellent Accomodations and Service's during my time at Hometown Studios & Suites. Because of their amazing staff and the Customer Service they provided me I chose to extend my stay there rather than try to find another hotel closer to where I had other business interests. The General Manager "Angel" is a true professional and she is courteous, kind hearted, thoughtful and is genuinely concerned about the needs of her customer's, the entire team is outstanding with every staff member far exceeded all of my expectations. I highly recommend Hometown Studios to everyone, you won't be disappointed. Thank you Angel and all of your team members for a great stay.

Fantastic and comfy stay. Great prices compared to any hotel within 10 miles. What made this experience the best was the service. Emily and Angel were extremely accommodating and very professional. On a snowy day nobody was happy but they found a way to do so. Kudos the staff and management. I'll be here again, sure of it
