Time to tear this old place town! The carpet was severely stained!! Very bad. Porcelain was patched up in sink, the shower and stains on linoleum floor in bathroom around toilet!! They are still using the old metal keys for rooms. The doors to rooms the wood is all chipped up. It's obvious they are just milking out there last days at this motel. Yep tear it down and hey how about leave it an open space to go along with the new riverfront park about to be constructed? But no it will be built on like every other little spot of land that's left in town. Dont like how we are becoming a little California here. To many have moved here. Anyone agree with me?

The staff indicated that that did not offer any of the discounts often offered at other hotels. They do, though, have a weekly rate (which suited my needs for this stay). The room was apparently remodeled recently, albeit cheaply. A refrigerator was provided, though a microwave was only provided on request (typically, I was told the microwave requires a deposit, however that deposit is waved in the case of weekly stays. A $30 deposit was still required for the room). When I realized that I wanted to pay for the week with a different form of payment, I returned to the desk within 10 minutes of the initial transaction. I was greeted by a different front desk staff, who answered my request with the most abysmal attitude and poorest customer service imaginable. I am not the type of customer who expects employees of an establishment to go against policy for that "the customer is always right" nonsense, and I abhor the practice of abusing service personnel. I, however, approached this woman with a friendly, solution-oriented mindset, completely prepared for either a polite "yes" or "no." What I got was neither; that lady obviously doesn't belong in a front-of-the-house position. Overall, given the location, the place is worth the price - but only just.

Some of these motels, they'll promise you a good rate, and when you get there it's a whole different story. Not this place. Now, all I need is a bed, a bathroom, a telephone, and sometimes a television, in the unlikely event that one day I'll get a chance to knock off early. On all those fronts, this place delivers. The coffee isn't great, though.

Good price. Wish they had told me they needed a deposit for a microwave when I got the room. And that they had affordable weekly rates. Fridge was really really small for a 4 person room. All in all, pretty good place. Especially if you like the sound of the train. It's right next to the tracks. No where to go around here, not many food options. 7-11 down the street. Definatly a college place.

Staff are professional and courteous, rooms are clean and well maintained. This is a good basic motel within a few minutes walk to Kesey Square in downtown Eugene, and perfect for those on a budget. There is a main railroad line directly behind the motel property, but noise from passing trains is barely noticeable, and I always get a good night's sleep when I stay here.

Room came with a television and a mini fridge, but no microwave or coffee maker, which is no surprise considering the low price ($47.50/night). But then the price went up to $70/night because of some U of O event happening over the weekend. Staff was friendly and housekeeping worked around my schedule (I was in town working 12 hour graveyard shifts). I was in the Northwest corner of the complex and the trains weren't too bad there. I would stay here again.

You get what you pay for. A mostly clean & dry place to stay in a budget motel room. It's within walking distance of the campus and autzen stadium. The front desk was full of attitude and people partied in the nearby units most of the night. $70 a night is way too much for this place, but when it's the only vacancy in town...

As far as the price of the rooms go, you get what you paid for. My friend and I stayed here for the trials and just needed a place to stay. Unfortunately our first morning my friend and I were woken up to a maid banging on the door. Neither one of us were properly dressed so we shouted "no thank you" when we heard keys rattling but she continued to try to unlock our door. We shouted "no" a second time. When she opened the door she could only peek in through the chain lock. She berated us about how the room wasn't booked and asked us who we checked in with. After assuring her that we were paid for she left us alone. That was not handled well on her part at all and I was not particularly happy with being woken up that way.
