The
staff
indicated
that
that
did
not
offer
any
of
the
discounts
often
offered
at
other
hotels.
They
do,
though,
have
a
weekly
rate
(which
suited
my
needs
for
this
stay).
The
room
was
apparently
remodeled
recently,
albeit
cheaply.
A
refrigerator
was
provided,
though
a
microwave
was
only
provided
on
request
(typically,
I
was
told
the
microwave
requires
a
deposit,
however
that
deposit
is
waved
in
the
case
of
weekly
stays.
A
$30
deposit
was
still
required
for
the
room).
When
I
realized
that
I
wanted
to
pay
for
the
week
with
a
different
form
of
payment,
I
returned
to
the
desk
within
10
minutes
of
the
initial
transaction.
I
was
greeted
by
a
different
front
desk
staff,
who
answered
my
request
with
the
most
abysmal
attitude
and
poorest
customer
service
imaginable.
I
am
not
the
type
of
customer
who
expects
employees
of
an
establishment
to
go
against
policy
for
that
"the
customer
is
always
right"
nonsense,
and
I
abhor
the
practice
of
abusing
service
personnel.
I,
however,
approached
this
woman
with
a
friendly,
solution-oriented
mindset,
completely
prepared
for
either
a
polite
"yes"
or
"no."
What
I
got
was
neither;
that
lady
obviously
doesn't
belong
in
a
front-of-the-house
position.
Overall,
given
the
location,
the
place
is
worth
the
price
-
but
only
just.
