To whomever made my pesto hash on labor day at like 10am, I want to let you know that I’m still thinking about it. It was by far the best thing I’ve ever had from you guys. I’ve ordered it before, and it never hit like that day. Every bite was so seasoned to absolute perfection. There’s Parmesan on it, ya? Or was it the liquid GOLD pesto? Maybe the mushrooms were cut with Sir Lancelot‘s sword, and the sea sky cried tears of salt water into the potatoes. However the chef completed a dish so divine, I will never truly know. But on that day, I changed my beliefs of Hideaway bakery. It even changed the directory of my life, forever. 5 shiny gold stars.

Even though it’s in the name, I didn’t think I’d have that much of a hard time finding this place! It’s tucked behind an Italian restaurant. I tried one of their pinwheels and muffins, both were amazing, especially the orange pinwheel. I was just passing through Eugene, but I’d love to come back on a future trip!!

Yummy vegan breakfast at the farm cart where any egg dish can be swapped out for tofu! We got the sweet potato and harissa hash and it was totally satisfying. The pastries and bread is good too, with vegan options all around (including vegan homemade ravioli to go)

Hideaway Bakery has the best Seeded Sourdough Bread and fresh handmade food is always better. The loaves come whole but can be sliced if needed. The Ginger Molasses and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies are incredible and are huge. Do yourself a solid and try the Chocolate Carrot Cake. This is such an inventive combo that works well together and is so satisfying. Their Lattes are on point and there are many hot drink options. I also enjoy the frozen Pasta to make at home. Frozen Chicken or Vegetable Enchiladas are available. The outdoor patio is a cozy spot to enjoy your food or you can sit inside at Mazzi's. Free Parking.

First time at this bakery. Great selection of pastries. Love their black olive sourdough loaf. Great sourdough flavor. The ambiance was great at the outdoor seating area. My favorite thing is they have prices on all their items!!! 5 stars just for that. I wish all bakeries would do this. Saves so much time and is easy to make a decision right away. It's not a waste of my time or their staff's answering dozens of pricing questions. Thank You for the prices!!!!!😍

The “Country Levain“ bread has a nice texture and flavor. I also like the "cream" scones and the apple and berry turnovers.

My most favorite Bakery with the bestest Bagels! The environment here is SO wonderful. You can eat inside or outside. Lots of beautiful, friendly staff folks & the clientele is just as lovely. I have tried a few pastries here & all were excellent. I see a ton of folks carrying out Pizzas to bake at home, so that's next on my "to try" list. All the Coffee, Tea and Steamer beverages here are expertly made & their homemade, caffeine free, Hibiscus Tea is fabulous. We come here often for our Meetup dot com group to have our fun & friendly gatherings & we all have Breakfast. It never disappoints. It's hidden behind Mazzi's & I would selfishly keep it a secret, but the world should know about it & come try some of the most fantastic food in all of Lane County! ♡

For a place called the hideaway bakery it is very well known. They have a good mix of savory and sweet pastry items. The lemon bar is delicious. You may end up waiting a bit if you’re here on the weekend but they work through the line pretty quick.

So much potential; however everything was lacking. I understand being busy, and understaffed but take a little bit of pride in what you do! I will never come back.

I ordered a coffee and chicken sandwich. When an employee brought it out, I thought I got the wrong sandwich since I saw bacon but no chicken. The employee told me to lift up the bacon to reveal two small pieces that were minuscule. The looked like pieces that you would put on a salad. The bread was greasy in the bottom, and there were no sides that came with the sandwich. The coffee was great but it took over 10 minutes to get it after I ordered it. I’m hoping I can attach a pic so you can see the tiny piece of chicken that is between the piece of bacon and tomato on the portion of the sandwich in the foreground.

The bakery seemed a little more dialed in than the kitchen. Bakery staff were friendly and helped us quickly, the bakery items we tried were great but not excellent. The food from the kitchen was good but served strange, my salad was mostly under my hot food making it warm and wilty, and when I went to pick up order the cook just kind of pointed st the food while not seeming to acknowledge me otherwise, kind of confusing.

We ordered coffees, pastries, and breakfast! The cinnamon pastry roll was so good that we had to order one to save for later. The desserts looked so amazing as well, so we grabbed some to-go. The potatoes we had for breakfast were the BEST and we could not stop talking about them. Wonderful, calm atmosphere, kind people, and delicious food. Would recommend for a pastry and coffee on the go, or to sit down for breakfast/lunch. :)

Excellent pastries- we had ham and Swiss croissants and marionberry danish, all of them were a generous size and baked to perfection. The house coffee was very good as well. All organic, with many gluten free options as well

One of my favorite places to go. They have high quality baked goods and do a great job on their lattes. I go there often for a meal or a treat! On busy days like Saturday get there early!

I love frosting- so much I always ask for a corner piece of cake. However, the cake here is disappointing- had the frosting and it was way too thick and sweet. Lovely setting, good coffee- but steer clear of the cakes and cupcakes.

Good, but they missed the mark on our visit. This hip little bakery has ample indoor seating, but on the nice day that we went we were all jockeying for the outdoor seating. The line to get in the door was long as well, and we waited for about 20 minutes and then another half hour for our food. Friends that came later were told that they had to wait for an hour. They were also out of forks, which made eating several of our dishes difficult. My dish, which was supposed to come with toast, didn't have any toast. A friend who ordered the tempeh panini was given eggs instead. While they were incredibly busy when we arrived, the errors were disappointing. There was also no jam, butter or other condiments provided. We were also disappointed in the quality of the coffee. The baked goods were decent, but I found the chocolate in the chocolate croissant to be grainier than expected, which was unpleasant. The potato donut was also drier than I would expect. Again, they were incredibly busy when we arrived but the number of fumbles was disappointing from such a highly rated bakery.

The pastries are delicious and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We love the atmosphere! My husband and I were able to sit in front of the warm fire and talk like it was our first date.

Coffee was epic and breakfast was so yummy! Bread is fresh and ingredients are high quality! The coffee procedure was a bit confusing and we accidentally grabbed the wrong drinks, whoops! It’s okay, the barista made sure to let us know of our mistake by yelling across the patio. I guess that was the only downside…

Very tasty breakfast. I had the BLTE, wife had the breakfast burrito. Both very yummy. Atmosphere was also great, loads of outdoor seating in garden style atmosphere.

Such a sweet little place tucked away from the main road. We love to find gluten free bakeries in our travels and stumbled upon this one. The gluten free bread was amazing and my kids ate it untoasted with cream cheese. They have a nice outdoor seating area and an indoor one that was quiet and cozy. We were there right when they opened and it was already busy so you knew it was good. Staff were friendly and helpful and it was a wonderful stop. We will definitely be visiting again in the future!

This was my first taste of tempeh, but now I can't stop planning my day around how I can get back for more. I also tried a cupcake and it was so decadent! I tell everyone I meet about how amazing the food is here. It's refreshing to find food that is lovingly flavored without relying on salt. Ohhh, those caramelized onions and peppers were so very yummy.

Nice outdoor space. Soup was bland, but veggies were good and would have been better with some full flavor. Turkey sandwich was probably really good but by the time I got to eat it...not as much. My fault, not theirs. Service was great, Big chunky peanut butter with chocolate chips cookie was waaay too delish...shoulda bought 2! Am definitely going back!!

Omg that cardamom ginger latte is where it’s at!! Also enjoyed our sandwich and salad. Hideaway’s ambiance is really nice, and the baked goods looked good! Easy to see why they’re often busy. Great place to stop after exploring a Ridgeline trail or going to the raptor center or Amazon Park.

This is our second time visiting Hideaway Bakery. We really enjoyed it and will be coming back for more! It's definitely a busy spot on a Saturday morning, so come with a little bit of patience. The lattes were delicious, the baguette was really good, but our favorite was the cinnamon sticky bun (warmed up). I definitely recommend this spot. They also have a Farm Cart outside, with a bigger menu for breakfast and lunch. It's actually pretty good, but our order took approximately 35 minutes to come out. If you're looking for a quick bite for breakfast on a weekend, this isn't it. If you have time to sit down, chat, sip on a good cup of coffee while waiting for breakfast, this is the spot. There seems to be heating available for the cooler months as well. There's shade for the warmer sunnier days! The food from the Farm Cart was delicious, but I have to remove one star for the wait time. Even though I was patient and understanding, we ordered three items but they didn’t come out at the same time. Most people wait for everyone at the table to get their food before eating, so by the time we waited for the last item, everyone else’s food was cold. I’d recommend that they bring all the food out at once or maybe have a food warmer while they wait for the entire order to be complete. Other than that, I enjoyed the visit.
