I haven't been in a bookstore since Covid started. I recently moved and I saw we had a B&N near us. I had to go immediately. The people are so caring in this location. I was able to order 2 of the books I was looking for though through the nicest most beautiful lady Maddie. ❤️

Can't go wrong with Barnes & Noble. It's definitely one of my happy places. The atmosphere, the café, and the revamped rewards program make this nearly a one-stop shop for book lovers. So long as the retail pricing isn't out of your budget. But they have lots of great rotating sale options as well! And a surprising selection of board games as well!

I love the layout of this building, staff are all very friendly-both at the coffee shop and general bookstore staff. I come here aleast 3 nights of the week to just relax, read, draw whatever until closing. I’m very grateful for this place and it’s atmosphere

Sorry but I'm going back to using JMichaels and Smith Family Bookstore even though BN is closer to where I live. Indie booksellers truly are better. BN has issues both with the store and with its website including: search feature does not work well or consistently and every time fails to recognize password - even failing after new password every time, apparently the website didn't recover from its pandemic issues. Also, store stock information frequently does not update with the website so while the website may indicate "in stock" at the Eugene store, just as often that isn't so. Or vice versa - per website, "not available" in Eugene -- yet the book or item is on prominent display inside the store on the same day (very frustrating!). The store itself gets rearranged frequently in very odd ways (I'm a retired librarian, so yes, I do know how to arrange books so people can find them). Then there is the unpleasantly pushy upselling where the store employees push you to buy the BN "membership" even after you politely decline. The two stars are for the employees who do know the stock and are willing to wander around the once-again re-arranged store to actually locate the book you are trying to buy.

I've always loved Barnes and Noble, and this one is no exception!! I just wish there was a map of the different sections so it would be easier to find what you're looking for. But besides that the stag are very professional and helpful!! Love it

the atmosphere is homey and i always love going and browsing through books. loosing track of time walking up and down the rows of books. reading the sinopsis of those that look intriguing. adding it to my list of want to read. it makes it particularly hard to pick just One or even three. after it's nice to chill in the Starbucks cafe and read the new book. as you sip on a drink of you choice or even munch on a pastry. it's a great environment, even for studying. i see meny people in the cafe working hard on laptops and scribbling notes for hours. as they enjoy the atmosphere and smell of coffee.

Overall it's a nice place to browse and find new things. A lot of the stuff they sell is marked up in price though. If you're looking for something you have to track down an employee and hope they're not busy. Minus another star for the cafe staff. Multiple times I've stood in line to order something while they have long conversations instead of assisting customers.

Staff was knowledgeable and helpful in finding several books in stock. Children's book section is large and playful, with a corner stage for imaginative play. A fun, relaxing way to burn through a couple hours.

B&N is not just a bookstore, if you haven't been there in a while. It's a go to for kids' gifts, a place to find music and recent videos. It's a resource center (such as for travel, pets, diets and cooking). It's a cafe. It's a toy store. I'm there every week if I can make it!

What a great selection of books. I didn't end up getting anything as I don't think the book I'm looking for exists. I literally just want a book with all the mushrooms that are edible here in Oregon. Mostly pictures with brief summaries. I did see some other things I'm probably going to head back and purchase later though. I feel like Netflix will cancel Sandman and I really want to see where the story goes.

I have been a customer for years. The book selection is great. They also have music, toys and magazines as well as a coffee shop. I'm not as thrilled with the new configuration of the book department. But guess I will get used to it. They also changed the toy department and it isn't as kid friendly as it used to be. Their new membership is a farce. I pay $14 more per year and don't see any increased value. I would have felt better if they had just said they were raising the membership price, rather than tell you how it has improved when it has not.

Doesn’t seem safe for parents trying to keep an eye on their kids anymore. Otherwise, it’s always fun to visit a brick and mortar, actual book store with a great selection of so many books, magazines, toys, stationary, music CDs, other misc. items, and even a nice coffee/snack bar to cozy up with a book or handheld ebook reader/tablet.

This B&N has a great selection of books for people of all ages and interests. There is an awesome game section and a HUGE selection of manga and graphic novels. They often have fun specials to introduce new authors. The coffee shop is pretty dang good, too!

Better than I remember. Lots of great books to look at. No workers to speak of. The cashier was kind and efficient, even though she was the only worker in the store, helping customers.

Always love coming into this Barnes and noble, great place to relax and do work and look around. The employees are all really nice and it has a great selection of books and other things like board games and vinyls. Was very surprised by this and very happy. Highly recommend going if your looking for a place to relax, do work, and read a book.

It seems like they're always improving this store, and it looks nicer every time I'm in. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the prices are often insane and easily beatable online (sometimes by a long shot). Also, I went there for Black Friday this year and there was not much of a sale. That doesn't bug me too much, but you should be aware they don't seem to go hard on sales.

Great location. The staff is very nice and helpful. They just got some sort of update to the interior so a lot of the shelves are taller and they’ve got an even bigger selection than before. I usually come here to find design and art magazines. They’re usually all current with a good selection.

I was looking for a specific book that they didn’t end up having. It all would have been good 5 stars except the clerk who was helping me said he was going to check the computer and get right back to me. I waited for 5 minutes before I went back to the front to get more help. The other worker started to help me and then she and the guy who was supposed to be helping me got into an argument in front of me. They didn’t have my book and their service quality was low.

What amazing people work in this store. Shelley Santa saw me standing and looking around. She walked right up to me to ask if she could be of assistance. I told her I was looking for the Poetry section. She told me it was right over there and to follow her. She said it is right here and waved her hand and the exact book I was looking for was right there. "Beowulf." Translation by the great Seamus Heaney. I am ever so thankful to your great employee.

Was in there for about an hr until an employee asked it I needed help. (Not that I did, just response time). Had some decent books depending on what your looking for. Seems to be on the more spendy side especially for games and some other stuff. Was very busy when we went.

I love this location. Always clean, always friendly. I was overwhelmed by the amount of new books, but a representative named Tony asked me right away “can I help you find anything” and honestly as an introvert that made my heart so happy. Tony helped me right away and I found what I was looking for!

It's across the main mall so has ample parking. Compared to a few years ago, the manga section has grown from 1 side of 1 aisle to 4 sides of 4 aisles. Friendly staff will help direct you to the books you're searching for.

I have always loved this Barnes and Noble since I was a child going to the Harry Potter midnight book releases. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. It's wonderful still being able to browse and find new authors. My kids love the children's area and ask to go all the time. Definitely recommend to everyone!

I Love to just browse! All 13 of my grandchildren get gift cards so they can get and discover their own favorite books! It's one of my favorite places!

More than books! Great toys, and games for children of all ages. Fantastic adult items for gift giving too; mugs, journals, pens, artsy things, etc. Very well organized store that is a treat to go through!!

A beautiful shop! The aisles are well apart with the topics clearly marked. If you still have a hard time finding something, the personnel is always available to make your experience worth wile!

Clean store, incredibly friendly staff, an awesome selection of books and more. Great place to find a book, grab some coffee, and dive into the pages. They also have very regular specials on new releases. The membership is worth it if you’re a regular. One of our favorite places!

I always have a good experience here at this location. They always have deals on different and interesting books. It's always clean and all of the employees have been helpful and friendly. Sometimes it's hard to get to speak to someone, but sometimes businesses are short staffed and I take that into account. They have a nice collection of tarot and Oracle cards. It's a nice day out.

First time there and I think I spent around an hour and a half without fully looking around. Was quickly greeted and asked if I would like help finding anything. They were easily able to lead me to the section I was after, and they let me know of a good deal they had going on hardback books. Store was well maintained. At one point I heard staff talking to a guest author as they were packing up, and I was very impressed by how friendly and supportive they were of the local author. Was a great experience.
