An absolutely wonderful camp ground with big level rv sites and full hook up. Picnic tables and fire pit in all spaces, and a group area and tent camping is also available. Did not use the restrooms or showers, so nothing about that. Great possibilities for walking in the park and along the river. There is a dog park at the entrance to the campground which is very popular. Short drive to shopping and eateries. A great place to spend a couple of days.

I really appreciate this hidden oasis in a county park. I read other reviews that didn't highlight this place very well, and I have not a clue what they are talking about. This park is really clean, quiet, and has lots of space in the full hook-up RV spots. For 58/night, we got access to some really great laundry facilities (the office provides quarters for your dollars, and its 2.00 to wash and 0.25 per 15 minutes to dry), the shower was complimentary and great (just be aware that you will get 7 minutes to shower before the water shuts off and it will remain so for 5 minutes). The park staff are really helpful and friendly. In some of my travels, I have witnessed questionable character types coming into these places, but that is not the case here. The staff work really hard to keep troublesome individuals out, and I appreciate it. Check-in is at 2p and check-out is at 12p. Thanks again! We will definitely come back to visit!

I've been around here in colburg Oregon for almost a year now. I've been looking for a good little spot to take my dog to let him meet other playful dogs like himself and I find that this park offers a little of everything. Camp grounds and fire pits, A dog park for big and small dogs. I nice long trail by the river to walk ur pooch or to let them swim and cool off in the river. There is a day pass u have to purchase $5 to be able to park at the park all day. Will be headed back there agian.

We decided to stop here because we had our dog with us and there’s an off leash park. For the five dollar fee it’s pretty disappointing. Not a very interesting off-leash area and the only restroom we found was one porta potty that was fairly gross, only attended to one a week per the dates on the back of the door. No water or even sanitizer. Couldn’t fill our water bottles.

We had a great experience until we tried to take a 🚿 and found out that the were closed πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ we had to wait till morning. We were told $33 to $180 a night we didn't pay someone else did and we were thankful to have a safe quiet clean place to sleep. But we have been talking about not going back because well for us it didn't ( FEEL) like it used to.

Our new go-to campground when visiting the Eugene OR area. Nice sites with hook ups. Traffic noise is minimal. Some issues with homeless folks so they are cautious at the office about giving out codes for the shower house and we always lock down when we are not present.

This Campground is awesome! They accommodate big rigs like ours and most every other type there is. You need to reserve in advance because it is so well liked. Thanks for the great 2 night stay it was great as always.

Beautiful park with paths to to McKenzie River, a large day use area. Dog park and nice campground with showers and laundry facilities. Lane county Parks has the most amazing staff! This is one of my favorite places

It's a nice little county park with clean campsites. The one drawback is that the showers are only open from 7am to 7pm. That's kinda early to close, when you want to clean up after a day out, and very inconvenient when you arrive later in the evening.

RV site review - Armitage County Park, Eugene, OR Our rig/preferences: 17’ Casita travel trailer; prefer peaceful, clean, well maintained facility with good wifi, cordial hosts, E/W/S, picnic table. Don’t value cable, pool, doggie areas, playgrounds, clubhouses. Site surface: Blacktop parking, thin grass/bare dirt surround Level: Adequate without unhitching trailer, adequate site length to avoid unhitching trailer for parking Spacing, landscaping: Good separation between sites. Some shrubs and trees separating most sites, pretty flat, some pull throughs, roomy access roads Amenities: 30 amp electric, water, sewer, table, fire pit, good laundry facility, slow WIFI provided, big dog park in day use area Park appearance: Green, many endemic trees, tidy grounds and camp sites Bath/Shower: Very good, combined in separate rooms, clean, well maintained Contacts: Courteous, efficient on site office person Pricing: $35/nt Notes: Typical Northwest dreary winter time. Quiet within park and no appreciable noise from I-5 a few blocks away. Stay again?: Quite adequate for over night stay in transit. Didn’t notice features that would make this a cherished destination park. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Gorgeous little park. We stayed in tent site 4 and had a partial view of the water. It was quiet and we had an enjoyable stay. Showers are timed for 7 minutes. You can shower, do laundry and use the bathroom in the same building. That's nice. The lady that runs this place is very nice and takes pride in this place. Dog park is nice too!!

Campground very close to town, if you are needing a quick place to stop while traveling through, also a nice place to camp on the river. It has RV and tent camping, showers and laundry. Also a great space for any sort of outdoor event.

Love this park. Have stayed here many times but this year the new staff and volunteers were exceptional. They patrolled the park, cleaned the spaces, and made sure everything was satisfactory. A job well done! Thank you.

Beautiful trees throughout the park big old growth River's nice but Swift not a swimming area for Littles more like a boating area it's a park and a campground never paid to stay there though it's expensive $40 a night

It's a nice campground, but the camp host needs to go work somewhere else where he doesn't have to deal with the public. He doesn't have the personality for the job. Very abrasive, almost rude. The showers are locked down at 8:30pm. Too early. Keep them accessible until 10pm, quiet time.

I love this campground. I spent a fair amount of covid here. You feel like you are out bug sell service is great and you can get into town easy enough. Clean and well managed.

Wifi is not the best, but the space is bog and spacious. There are a bunch of camp grounds there is a cool bridge and lots of scenery. I went for a company work event bbq thing at this park, and it easily held all of our coworkers and some. The covered area was super nice! We have tons of seating. I'd recommend for events.

You don't get to use a regular bathroom the Porta potty only they also are over priced for their camp sites and thr camp hosts are not only lazy they use their kids to clean the bathrooms and they are rude to almost everyone

Great place to walk with friends family by yourself with your dog or cat or whatever pet you have. There's a boat landing and also a dog park..although it Could use a play structure for the kidos for sure.

Spent the day on the Mackenzie River, outstanding place. Hearing that windows are broken out if anything valuable is left in sight. No problems. Had a blast!

Super nice rv park. Cheap price for wifi, cable and full hookups. Nice paved spaces. Feels like real wilderness for being near the freeway. Will stay here again for sure! Nice big dog park. Launch area for the river. Big county park.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Beautiful kick it spot, perfect for families with littles both human or fluffy. It’s very shallow area closed off from the river with rocks. Enough shade to keep you from melting next to clear waters and tadpoles. Bring toys and a cooler and you are set for hours of leisure/cooling off.
