It's a great little park surrounded by established trees. It has a playground for little kids and bigger kids and a nice flat open field to kick the ball. Plenty of dragonflies, butterflies and birds to enjoy.

A really nice little park with a big playground. A lot, and a wide variety of features for all different kids. One improvement I might suggest would be for the bridge on the main structure to be tighter if possible - its tricky to navigate, especially with a little one and/or when it's wet. Helpful warnings about poison oak were posted for certain areas (away from playground).

Right on River Road as one heads out of town towards farms and small towns. À host of large trees giving off pine and fir aromas in the breeze. Lots of shade. Lots of sunny spots. For as small as this park is it gives off big park feels. Children play areas. A wide open grassy area and horseshoe pits. The built-in grill has been covered over. There are picnic tables. A few walking areas. Busy road on one side, the side where the parking is, quiet neighborhood on the other three sides. This park has been here 62+ years. Nice.

Great, clean park with lots of shade and cool regulars. There is a small bathroom/ permanent porta-potty which is nice. Over a month we saw a mixture of Jevoa Witness evangelists, a guy playing a banjo for his grandkids and a lawn full of picnickers. I highly recommend the experience!

Nice park, but full of poison oak, and sometimes the bathroom is nasty.

I use to go here when I was 18 years old, moved away for 14 years. Came back for vacation. Now I'm 34 and have kids of my own. Loved that I could share this with them. The park hasn't changed much either, except the huge log got cut away and a bridge put in its place. That part made me really sad.

Nice quiet park that is relatively clean. Kids really enjoy the play structures and the large grassy area is great for running around. There are sometimes homeless people in the parking lot and infrequently in the shady (literally) areas where the trees are. I've never seen them close to the play structures or tables though. There are Porta Pottys and a water fountain.

Portapotties are heavily vandalized and a mess. A few homeless people perpetually there, especially one lady who occupies a parking spot with her minivan. Avoid if you can.

It's a great little park in the Santa Clara area of Eugene that is well maintained. Because of the trees that surround the park the park stays shaded for most of the day . Which makes it nice to take my kids there during the summer time and not have to worry about the slide being too hot for them to slide on it. There are two play areas at this park (one for older kids and one for younger kids). I would thoroughly recommend taking your kids there.

Nice park, my boys loved running back and forth on the bridge and liked the playground alot as well.

We love this park. It has plenty of grass to run around on, lots of park toys to play on, and one of the only parks that we have found that is completely covered with shade, which is a huge plus for those hot summer days. There are a few picnic benches and a fire pit on one side. Swings for all ages as well. I love that there is a side of the park for "babies" and another side for bigger kids. Can be tricky to get a parking spot sometimes.
