Junction City Pond

Tourist attraction Park Fishing pond

👍👍 My Dog Cash and I have been looking for places to go out and explore. This is a nice little pond for a good little walk around the Little pond. If you are an archery Hunter then this is a good place to test out your compound bow or longbow. They have a archery target range targets on the other side... People often mention pond, archery, fish, range, fishing,

My Dog Cash and I have been looking for places to go out and explore. This is a nice little pond for a good little walk around the Little pond. If you are an archery Hunter then this is a good place to test out your compound bow or longbow. They have a archery target range targets on the other side of the pond where you can take your hunting buddy and go dial in on your aiming. Great place I'll be coming back. Strangerthanu

Nice spot, although not good for fishing! If you have a bow you can do archery!

Very neat experience!!! Junction City pond is right off of Hyw. 99 and super easy to get to. The sheer numbers of different and unique wildlife at this pond made the visit simply incredible. Lots of fishing and photography opportunities here and a great place to enjoy an afternoon lunch!

The pond is nice but the bathrooms aren't maintained regularly, there are mean geese that try to bully you (please don't encourage their aggression by feeding them human food). The fish are only real big biters during certain times of day, but there is a substantially sized archery range for bow and arrow target practice, with targets on site already installed

Went to the ODFW, archery range, which I found to be an excellant setup, with multiple targets at various distances, with plenty of variety close by. I thank the people whom make it there duty to take care of this great set!

Beautiful place to fish and watch the birds. Saw an osprey snatch a trout out of the water

I love going to the pond when we have young, inexperienced fishermen because there are multiple places along the bank that don't have a ton of trees and bushes for them to cast their pole into!! There are many spots that are not as wide open, so on busy days, you might have difficulties finding one of the open spaces. When this happens, you can find a spot on the handicapped accessible dock area. My only complaint, well, 2, actually, First, THE TRASH THAT PEOPLE CHOOSE TO LEAVE LAYING AROUND IS AWFUL INSPITE OF THE MANY TRASH CANS PROVIDED AT NO CHARGE!!!!!! My only other complaint is that there is rarely a game warden on site, so many take advantage of that and will take all they catch! NO EXAGGERATION.... We witnessed a group spend the day catching one fish after another and hiding them in their vehicles. That group actually bragged to those of us close by. They had CAUGHT AND KEPT, OVER 100 FISH!!! When people do this, and they do it often, the majority of us are honest, and ETHICAL fishermen end up catching very few fish.

Good little pond for fishing, especially for children and disabled people. They stock it with trout, salmon hens and have a nice trail all the way around pond.

Beautiful quiet spot. Pond has good walkable access all around it -full loop! Archery bags are nice and large targets for practice. Dock allows for pond fishing.

It appears to be nice little fishing pond, but we caught no fish. The fish we saw being caught were very small. This is Oregon was not impressed, the kids really wanted to catch some fish they were very disappointed.

Nice, and sometimes quite place to work, relax with your thoughts or just cast a line to relax by yourself or with friends and family just catch it on a easterly wind or the smell across the street might make you run. Lol

Stocked until warmer months with lots of little nooks and crannies to fish from. Small craft fishing seems to be an option too. Unfortunately for the anglers the overhead hawks and eagles seem to be much better at catching fish. There is an archery range as well. One of the bathrooms seems to be out of order, but there are others available to use on site.
