Orchard Point is a fun place to spend a summer afternoon with friends and family! There are many things to do, including swimming, boating, sunning yourself, barbecuing, and more.

A great place for family walks and relaxation! Great views of the lake and mountains. Yachts, sailboats against the backdrop of the lake and mountains create a beautiful picture! There is an equipped and safe place for swimming and enjoying the water!

Really fun spot. You don't have to have a boat to enjoy it here but man is it that much better with one❣️ There's a kid play area back from the water with swings and a climbing structure, there's plenty of spots to sit on the grass and watch the kids as they're getting into the water ~ starts shallow (ankle deep) and gradually deepens, then you have the marina🥰 There are a few trees for shade but if it's a busy weekend you may wanna bring an umbrella just in case. Or maybe that's just me? Lol

This parking area has access to a boat ramp, docks, swim area, grass, soccer goals, wooden foot bridge, childrens rock village, picnic tables, a playground, and volleyball net. Perfect for families and pets.

Pretty big space to play etc.. you can of course swim ( there are designated area roped of for the younger ones) the water is pretty shallow too so easier for the little ones. There's also a sand volleyball court and plenty of open grass areas.. and a free small bbq's for your picnics 👍. Social distancing seemed doable too just stay proactive.. enjoy 🌞😉

I love orchard point. Remember there's fish and ducks and stagnant water everywhere before going. Love that when the kids swim they can go out pretty far still standing.

We had a birthday party at Orchard Point. We all had a great time. The weather was nice and warm.

It was good, but could be better. Paved sidewalks everywhere, but the ramp from the parking lot to the sidewalks was about 3in above ground, which is not possible to get over with a wheelchair (unless you had help like I did, or you have the strength to pop a wheelie). From there it was lovely and accessible... until the sidewalks along the lake were being used as storage for the paddle boats and floaties people couldn't be bothered to put next to the sidewalk. The area is very large, so we could get far away from other people and let my dogs soak up some shade, and argue with my puppy about why drinking lake water is not a good idea.

Great place to take a walk with your dog or jog on the dam. I made this video of an Air Boat leaving the marina just yesterday. And I saw a huge river Otter catching small fish.

I recently visited here to put my boat in Fern Ridge reservoir and while I was happy that it is a multi-dock facility meaning that you have several options to put in and takeout, the facility is in a poor state. We went to tie our dock line after putting our boat in and the wood that acts as the cleat on the dock wasn't secured and just fell off. Like an 8 ft section of 4x4 just fell off. I hope that the recent levy that was approved, and all of the tax dollars that we shovel out every month, eventually find their way too making this a better facility.

Beautiful view. Sun and shade, public bathrooms, easy parking, built-in bbq'd. Great place to have our morning coffee that day.

Today I took my paints and canvas and painted the landscape. I wish there were some boats, but maybe later in the year... Nobody bothered me, so i was able to enjoy my work. Im sure ill return again and again until i master the skill of painting water. Failure is not an option.

I stopped by on my bike ride to use the restrooms and running water, but ended up staying because of the park's serenity. It was gorgeous!

I love taking my kids to this park. They received money to renovate and I can't wait to see some life back in this large and peaceful park. It's a great spot for rockhounding during the winter when the lake is low.

Nice place to cool off on a hot day. Large park, lots of space, good place for a picnic. It dose have a lot of picnic tables. You can sit in the shade or sun. Would definitely go back again.

Went late in the season to try out our new inflatable kayak. There were only a few people there. The surrounding parks were all closed. The water level was low as would be expected this time of year. Still, it was easy to get into the water. Unfortunately, we under inflated our kayak so it was a little unstable and we just paddled around a short time. Would like to go back when the water level is higher, and it is a little warmer.

We love this park, but it is not maintained by Lane County. Trash cans overflowing, bathrooms 🚻 closed, tree 🌳 limbs all over the grounds, and just not taken care of. Why is there a camp host? As trash 🗑 cans are overflowing and there is no bathroom access. Again, we love this park, but are very disappointed as it is not being maintained properly.

Quiet place to be near the water in late Summer and early Fall. (Update - early March isn't bad either!) This place is aging, but it is clean and safe.

Great place to swim, solid park. Nice big open field to run around in. horribly maintained. I would have loved to see this place in it's prime!
