This park is located about 20 minutes south east of Eugene, Oregon in Dexter, OR. The park has beautiful coniferous and deciduous trees, a large dog run, hiking, biking and horse riding trails. There js a parking area for equestrian trailers and an area to saddle horses. There are several trails of varying lengths around the marsh and streams running off the Willamette river. There are wheelchair accessible picnic areas and bathrooms. Some of the trails look even and compact enough for wheelchairs but we didn’t venture down any this time. I would definitely come back here again for some trail walking, biking, fishing and wildlife watching. There are heron and turtle here.

We just spent an early fall afternoon strolling the Park. A very nice place to enjoy the outdoors. Plenty trails for people, dogs, bikes and horses. We walked along the river enjoying the sound of the water accompaned by crunching maple leaves under our feet. It is a beautiful well maintained State Park close to Eugene. Try it, you'll like it.

So much room at this place. There is an equestrian area so there can be quite a few people walking around on horses. Great access to the river and Lost Creek. There are some picnic tables available and also bathrooms. Plenty of different parking spots. Great to check out all times of the year. Please respect nature and help preserve these places for future generations. Please don't litter and if you see trash pick it up.

An abundance of trails, feels safe, easy to find, private area with lots of parking! We saw horses, an impressive Eagles nest and lots of woodpeckers!

Cedar Creek Fire Camp. A new experience, supporting fire fighters on 100,000 plus acre fire near Oakridge, Oregon. The town was evacuayed, but saved by fire fighters. Close call.

My foster Niece had her birthday party here. Good safe location for small children. Horses are allowed to be ridden here as she brought her horse to her birthday party. Nice shady picnic areas. Very large park.

One of the few parks close to Eugene where you can have a dog off leash on voice command and ride your bike! The horse people will try to belittle you about it though lol

Great trails for 6yrs+ bike rides, (with little pushes from mom here and there) and lots of friendly horses, just lay the bikes down and step away from them. Make sure you verbally greet the horses so they recognize you as human. Oh yha, there is a nice dog park too, and canine friends to meet on the trails too. And fishermen going to the rivers edge! Oh just such a great place! And to despite all that, it's mostly quiet and alone there. Love this place!

I'm always surprised at how few people are here. It's well maintained, has ample free parking, has amenities like bathrooms and picnic tables, plus river access and pretty trails. The river drowns out the highway noise in a good chunk of the park. Great spot.

👍👍 SUCH a beautiful place to float around and relax. Great atmosphere, everyone having a good time, this is the perfect place to spend a sunny day. Plenty of parking, no fees to park, and parking is very close to the water. We intend to go back often!
