This
restaurant
is
a
new
addition
to
Main
St
in
downtown
Springfield.
It’s
hours
have
just
changed
for
summer
to
stay
open
into
the
night.
Their
menu
has
southern
and
down
home
classics
and
it’s
vegan.
For
those
meat
lovers
out
there
you’ll
still
love
this
place
because
the
food
is
so
flavorful
and
filling,
and
honestly
I
couldn’t
really
taste
a
difference
in
the
“meat”
they
served
in
the
gumbo
I
had.
My
dinner
companion
had
the
red
beans
and
rice
with
homemade
biscuits
and
strawberry
jam.
Everything
here
is
made
from
scratch
with
organic
ingredients,
locally
sourced
where
possible.
I
had
the
gumbo
with
cornbread
and
it
was
the
most
excellent
cornbread
I’ve
ever
had
and
my
mom
is
from
the
south
and
makes
killer
cornbread.
It
was
so
fluffy
and
flavorful,
served
with
some
vegan
butter
on
top
it
was
perfect.
For
desert
we
had
the
bread
pudding
which
is
deep
fried
and
drizzled
with
chocolate
and
vegan
whipped
cream
and
nuts.
They
serve
hard
liquor,
beer
and
wine.
Their
dining
area
is
spacious
and
has
a
vintage
antique
feel.
The
service
was
excellent
with
friendly,
knowledgeable
and
skilled
servers.
It
took
hardly
any
time
at
all
from
when
we
ordered
to
when
we
got
our
food
and
even
though
we
came
in
at
6
minutes
til
closing
they
were
still
friendly
and
eager
to
serve.
I
will
definitely
be
coming
back
regularly
for
some
delicious
vegan
home
style
cooking.
