👍👍 One of the best sandwiches I ever had! Perfect mix of fresh, fried, spicy and west. And the bun was incredible! Soft yet crunchy and not at all soggy!! So amazing. And I loved the wine & local brews available next door. Only thing that could be improved is more heaters at the seating! People often mention good, sauce, bread,

I loved Da Nang so much that I came back twice in one day - for lunch and dinner - because this may be the best Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. Lunch was part of a food tour and featured a “pesto” pasta that was subtle but so good I wanted to lick the bowl. For dinner I had the cold chicken and vermicelli dish with a side salad [that I totally forgot to take a photo of because I was so hungry then! lol!] and the flavors were just *chef’s kiss.* I wanted to return every day I was in town and frankly I’d fly back just to eat here if that wasn’t insane. It’s great paired with the wines from inside Oregon Wine Lab. Definitely don’t skip these two when you’re in town!

Crazy good noodle dish! It took me back to my younger days of backpacking through Vietnam. Great little outside eating area as well

Da Nang's tofu boats are some of my favorites around. This food cart is one of the best in town

Love the concept, and I love a bahn mi. This just didn't do it for me. The chicken was cooked well, had a killer char, and wasn't dry. The flavor was mostly char. The carrot was plentiful, I would've loved if the carrot and daikon were closer ratios. Would've loved a cucumber. If there was cucumber, I missed it. I don't know why there were peanuts. They didn't bother me but they also didn't add anything. The garlic sauce was tasty, I wish there was more, as the sandwich as a whole ran dry. The bread was the real miss for me. The bread is what makes a bahn mi. It was too crusty and left my mouth feeling torn apart like a bowl of captain crunch. I had to remove the particularly rough pieces to get to the softer pieces. A lot of bread was left behind. It was also one of the spendier bahn-mi I've had. I'm fine paying for a killer sandwich, but this wasn't me. You want a killer bahn-mi, keep searching.

Very colorful! The only downside to eating here is the price of the bahn mi - most I have ever paid for one. However, with that price you get fresh ingredients and a sufficient portion. Taste was comparatively better on all the dishes we ordered and to top it all, the ambiance was very comforting. I would come back here again next time I'm in Eugene.

The guys were great with suggestions, my food was delicious, and I enjoyed the courtyard! I had my protein on salad, which was perfect! I wonder if there was enough sauce for rice or noodles, though. I totally want to try the bread next time.

I was surprised to find peanuts in my banh mi (I didn't notice it listed as an ingredient on the menu, but perhaps I missed it). I did not enjoy the flavor they added to the dish and I feel like the texture provided by the bread and vegetables make the addition of peanuts unnecessary and unpleasant. The chicken had such a strong char flavor that it was the dominant flavor. Compared to my other experiences with banh mi, I found my experience here quite poor. Additionally, I was provided with no napkins or water or anything. This may have been my fault since I changed my order from "to go" to "for here". The heated tent I ate in was very pleasant and clean. Edit: It should be noted that this food truck is claiming to be an "Eatery". This is a misleading and extremely imprecise word to use. I came to the location thinking it was a restaurant where my son and I could sit down. This business needs to indicate it is a food truck.

DELICIOUSNESS 💯%~ I'll be going again soon and I'll take pictures. The 1st time the food was so good I started eating and didn't look up till it was gone, gone.

Love, love, love Da Nang Eatery! Personally I miss the old location but the food is delicious — the tofu is great, I could eat it all day long! Wish they still served pho though

Love this place and eat here frequently. I would give it 5 stars, however they are recently always out of hot sauce, which in my opinion is necessary for the rice bowls. They need to make more or keep more in stock. I won't be coming back because the food needs the hot sauce. Edit to add: they also don't tell you they're out of hot sauce until you've already ordered and paid.

Yeah, this is a really good Banh mi. I think the best I've had in Eugene. The folks in the cart were also real nice.

The food is quite tasty! My only criticism is, we expected the bun and salad dishes to be different in flavor profile, but they tasted very similar. Otherwise, the food is fresh and the outdoor seating plentiful (relevant for our current pandemic reality).

I got the tofu Bun Bowl (noodle bowl) and it was not what I had hoped. Wayyy too many noodles with no vinegar based sauce to pour over like at most traditional viet places. The fried tofu also tasted like fried chicken but in an unappetizing way. Would not recommend tofu if you don't eat meat.

Bánh Mì review: Steak banh mi was expensive ($14), steak was chewy, not flavorful and too much meat that made the baguette bread soggy, no jalapeños (standard on banh mi), too much carrot, no cilantro or very little.

This place is so good and and easy lunch or dinner option! The people are nice and they’re very quick too. Best Vietnamese I have had in Eugene.

Best Pho! I like beef better than chicken, but no beef at this time. Oh well. I ended up with the vegetarian Pho. The dog that walks around is a little annoying. He kept begging, so I didn’t like that. Other than that it’s a fun place for outside seating and delicious pho!

Surprisingly good take on Vietnamese food. Simple and delicious options for everyone. Wonderful outdoor ambience with picnic tables, a covered eating area with string lights and live music (at least on the weekend)

Great location, great good, great service. Service was pretty fast, and the food tasted really fresh. The best thing in my opinion is the house sauce they use, though it might be too hot for some people. The flavors all worked together well, and ask the components were prepared and cooked nicely. Another plus is that this is right next to the Oregon Wine LAB. While I was waiting on my food, I grabbed a beer there. There is a nice covered outdoor seating area to eat at in the courtyard area.
