(4.5 stars) We've lived in the Springfield Eugene area for 20 plus years but somehow never ate at Buddy's before today. We will definitely be back! The service was fast and friendly and the food came from the kitchen piping hot and in record time. In the pictures you'll see my husband ordered I build your own breakfast with biscuits and gravy, eggs, and home fries. I ordered the pumpkin pancakes on special that came with eggs and bacon. My husband also got coffee and our total was just a few cents shy of $26 before tip. I look forward to going back to try their lunch menu!

We were looking for a restaurant on our way through. We asked the internet and they didn't stear us wrong. Everything was so fun, delicious, and inexpensive. We will drive to buddy's anytime we are within 2 hours of it. Thank you for the experience! Please come teach some restaurants around me how to make those perfect biscuits and gravy

Old school diner with delicious, home cooked breakfast. Large servings, quick service with a smile, you leave full but excited to return! We arrived around 10:30 AM and out our name on the wait list but writing our name and party size on a spiral notebook, right inside the door. A small waiting area, be sure to stick around to hear your name called! With fun 50’s decor, this vintage diner provides an old school experience in a town full of eclectic, new hip spots. A gem in Eugene - check it out if you’re looking for a hearty breakfast and local vibes. Hope to see you there!

I would give this place six stars if I could. Five stars for five reasons: food/menu, friendly, clean, location, atmosphere! Live ALOHA, attitude, food or menu met our expectations. Inside dining. The patio is clean and available in good weather. I ordered a daily special found on their Facebook page. Check them out. Buddy's Diner is worth the experience. Enjoy! Service was taken seriously and food was supreme.

What a great little diner! They have salt and pepper grinders and real coffee mugs. Nice! Wife ordered omelette which was excellent. Potatoes were cooked perfect with just enough seasoning. I had the biscuits with sausage and gravy. So good! Biscuit was nice, flaky and soft! Gravy was perfect consistency and so tasty! Coffee was good too! Service was excellent! We will be back for sure when traveling through Eugene.

Just had a yummy and very pleasant lunch at Buddy's Diner… It had been awhile since I was last here (pandemic) and I remembered liking the place-I remembered right! Totally fun diner theme, menu with many choices and some interesting ones as well as the regular stuff you'd see at most diners. Good seating choices, plenty of booths (I like a booth in a diner, reminds me of the old days) and a counter. The staff is awesome, our server was super nice and attentive. The food was yummy! Had a Ruben Burger with tots, and a Philly Cheesesteak and sweet potato fries.. Well prepared, served quickly, and quite tasty! Excellent adherence to covid safety complete with hand sanitizer available, even at each table! Left feeling full and happy! Thanks, Buddies!

This diner was exceptionally cool, the staff were friendly as ever and the food was so darn delicious!! Biscuits and gravy, sausages, coffee(black) with eggs over medium. And everything was cooked to perfection

The wait was only 5-10 minutes on labor day 💚the food was out quick, hardly any wait didnt even finish the first cup of coffee before food came out, I loved that! On top of quick, the food was delicious, coffee stayed full, and the atmosphere is open and light, windows everywhere to let the outside in. Love this place!!!

This is the best breakfast I've ever had. Chicken. Fried. Steak. I almost cried into it it was so good, but I didn't want to mess up the perfect salt balance. DO NOT SLEEP ON THE BISCUIT. Forget what you think a biscuit is, unless you've experienced Buddy's. I don't think I'll go anywhere else anymore. SEVEN STARS.

It's a great little diner. Wide variety of burger toppings, breakfast selections and other sandwiches. The best things are the milkshakes. Complete with canister so you get the whole thing made fresh and can refill you tulip glass if you have room. I usually share one with one of my grandchildren.

Great food and portion sizes if you have big eaters in your group! They have a lot of menu options. I was able to get a bowl of cut up fruit rather than potatoes. A cute 50's Diner vibe. Attentive and friendly service. We had to wait to get in - mostly outside and the parking lot fills up quickly. We weren't in a hurry so it was fine. We will go again.

I had the caramel apple french toast but I've had a lot of their menu and it's all fantastic food!!

Ordered some eggs with biscuit n gravy. Biscuit n gravy came out on a giant plate. I personally was not a fan of the gravy or the sausage. Maybe this place is better for burgers and lunch.

We ended up sitting outside but service was still fantastic! Food was great. But we're southerners so the biscuits weren't what were used to. Otherwise everything was amazing!

We always wanted to try Buddy's but never seemed to get the chance. Well we finally got an opportunity today and so did everybody else! The restaurant was packed but we still got seated quickly and our order was out even faster! On top of that the food really was exceptional and the service was so kind. I'm very grateful for Buddy's and any time we can go we will.

Quaint little diner. Great atmosphere, very 1950's feel. World-class service and friendly waitresses. My order was in and not even 5 minutes later it was infront of me, and it was great. Definitely would eat here again.

Such a cute Diner. The decorations and atmosphere was great. The waitress was super sweet. The food was alright. I enjoyed that they use fresh strawberries instead of the syrup jelly.

What a fabulous little Diner! The service was top notch, the food was excellent, with generous portions, and they kept the hot coffee coming! Our little one was tended to very sweetly, and our server had a great sense of humor. This will be a family favorite as long as the doors remain open! They are very busy on the weekends, so you may have a short wait, but it's worth it 👍

I went to this place with my father and aunt and it was lovely. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The ambiance is incredible and the decor makes the place a fun and entertaining venue for enjoying food and good company.

This place was a very popular restaurant for the locals. I can understand it's popularity. There was a long line of people. They were so busy that no one welcomed us at the door. We saw a pad and pen to write down our name. We were able to sit down until our names were called. This place had a good amount of good for the price we paid. Delicious. Great service. Yup. I was very impressed by their service - service with a friendly smile. My cup was always full. Their restroom was fairly clean and stocked up. Impressive!

I stopped at this diner while on the road and I'm glad I did. The place was pretty busy and I still got my food pretty promptly. The portions are huge, I couldn't finish the country buddy. Food was delicious, as diner food should be.

Great food and friendly, fast service. Had a sausage omelet with hashbrowns brown and a homemade buttermilk biscuit. Highly recommend stoping by. Pricing is also affordable.
