King Estate Winery is my favorite in the United States. My husband and I have been fans of King Estate wine for more than ten years so when we had the chance to go for brunch and wine tasting, we were so excited to go. Boy, the vineyard, food, and wines were amazing! Go early Wednesday - Sunday, if possible, so that you can be there when there aren't so many people. However, check their website for opening times before you go. I'll be back next year!

They get one star because the grounds are beautiful and a beautiful location. I made reservations for a Father’s Day brunch, a day later I received a text message, not a phone call, telling me the kitchen is going through a re-organization, and the menu is greatly reduced. I called the reservation line to get a better understanding of the problem. I was told in not so many words that the kitchen staff had quit unexpectedly, and they don’t have the staff to fulfill the menu. I decided to keep the reservation since they still had salads and a charcuterie board available. I scheduled the earliest reservation available and noticed the restaurant filling up during our time there. Before we were halfway done with our meal, our waitress came to our table and told us that other reservations were scheduled in our table and we had to leave in 20 minutes. That was the most disrespectful and absurd thing our waitress could have said to us. I seriously contemplated not leaving her a tip at all. My parents were appalled on Father’s Day, and so was I. Then she came to our table with the check and a box and was very adamant about getting us out the door as soon as possible. I didn’t even get to finish my wine. How disrespectful. I can very easily come to King Estates to enjoy the grounds and the view and not spend a single dime at that place ever again. The wines are not even that good. They are over priced and don’t have a full selection. No Chardonnays or ports whatsoever. Only dry bitter wines that reflect their dry bitter service.

This may be the most beautiful winery we ever visited. The wine selection was great. Very knowledgeable staff (from wine tasting to dinner experience). The food was exceptional. We visited a Micheline star restaurant just few days before and was not even close to King. The duck for two dish was superb. Very classy winery. We will be back.

This is best experience I’ve had at a restaurant and/or winery. I go out quite often and I was dazzled by the quality of the food and attentiveness of the staff. Audie was so sweet and friendly, her recommendations and pairings were top notch. I will be back and I will be recommending King Estate to all of my clients. Ask for Audie!!

This place is stunning, the wine is the best but there is room for improvement when having lunch. Here is why: We had to wait over 40 minutes for the waiter to TAKE our order. Reason: she disappeared twice for a long time and she loved to chat to everyone. The main reason for this bad review is the food. I had the beef tartare and it was very salty and overloaded with dill. The crackers that came with it were soaked in grease. Several hours later I am still suffering the consequences.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the King Estate Winery for brunch, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. Nestled atop a hill, the winery offers stunning panoramic views that are truly a sight to behold on clear days. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the delectable food. The salad was delightful with its inclusion of unusual edible flowers, adding a touch of elegance and visual appeal. The fried potatoes served alongside had a crispy outer layer that gave way to moist insides. The dining environment and tasting room exudes an air of sophistication, with its elegant hardwood and possibly rock floor. The provision of well-stocked hygiene products in the bathroom was a thoughtful touch. The free electric car chargers were a welcome surprise, making it very convenient for those, like us, who drive electric vehicles. In conclusion, my experience at King Estate Winery was unforgettable. From the breathtaking views to the delicious food, and the impeccable cleanliness throughout the establishment, it was evident that this winery goes above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience for its guests.

Absolutely delightful time at King Estate. From the amazing food to the seasonal wine flights and the views out the back deck, there truly is no better place to spend an evening in the Willamette Valley. Especially with the ride we took to get there. ;) Be prepared to spend a bit of money for the experience, but it was worth it for such a memorable evening. When the temperature suddenly started dropping as the clouds rolled in, the staff even brought out blankets for everybody on the back deck to stay snuggly and warm. Loved that personal touch!

Long, but beautiful drive(25 min from Eugene). Beautiful hilltop setting and a chateau stlye lodge. Great service, great food, on the pricey side, but worth it. Perfect for intimate dinner, or groups.

Visited King Estate for dinner after a few great beers at its neighbors at Alesong Brewing & Blending. Had a great dinner of Steak Frites accompanied by a glass of Rosé! Such a lovely setting with great views.

Outstanding hospitality and experience here. Erin with the farming, Mel with the vineyard, Nick with the production, Eric in the tasting were so generous with their time and knowledge showing us around. Truly made the experience! Shout out to Nick for a truly great time showing us around the facilities too! Right after harvest too, can’t thank him enough for taking the time.

Only for the rich! Even then, no guarantees they will treat you with respect! Review of King Estate Winery Pending review Two extremes: Go at your own risk and be forewarned - no one cares a bit about you even if you drop over $600 on food and wine! 1) "The Experience" - clipped in the wallet, left with bad taste in my mouth. Greeting and service was nice, but we were obviously newbies and no one cared to help us out or go the extra mile. Staff snobby and ignored us and definitely could hardly wait until we left!!! No one even said good bye as we left - too busy looking at the cash register!!!. We were very nice folks, too, by the way. Not difficult or kvetching or being "Karens" !!! 2) Quality of the Product: excellent. Brunch and Table-side tasting superb. Server knowledgeable. Food - delicious, top-notch gourmet and sourced from the winery's farm. Arrived at first seating [10 am] - we were a party of 5 with no one else there. Was told it was sold out so we had to take the 10 am slot, hmmmm. 3) Location beautiful. Date of experience: June 2023

The Pinot noir is unmistakably delicious and never fails to please. The restaurant is more of a cheeseboard, past years demonstrated an excellent 5 star menu, sadly no more. At our visit the 55.00 charcuterie board included Parmesan (!), Brie and a lovely smoked cheese. They ran out of small delicious apricot and herb bread if the day. I wonder what’s happened here with food? It is a beautiful drive and the gardens are lovely

👍👍 Awesome vibe and wonderful outdoor space. We missed the live music nights. The burgers were great. The onion rings even better. My only knock is they need to give you much more Ranch dressing since they charge $1.50 for it with your onion rings!! Give up the ranch!! While we were staying nearb...

👍👍 Delicious food, good drinks, friendly staff. The lead cook even came out and chatted with my boyfriend (also a cook) about kitchen setup, processes, food and what it takes to run the place.
