Never been treated so poorly. Went there for a friends birthday. It was a 'come and go as you please' type of get together. Right away we were made to feel unwelcome for not making a reservation, even though they do accept walk ins. We were then told that we couldnt order at the bar & we could only order at the table. We also had to order all together and could only split the tab 3 ways. Remember, people are coming and going as they please, so please tell me how we were to keep track of that running tab? We had a few children with us between ages 5-11 who were enjoying the all but empty lower patio, to which we were told we needed to keep the children Seated at a table. The children weren't being rambunctious or rude, no one was crying or breaking anything, no patrons were being disturbed. I let the server know that keeping the children seated at a table was not going to happen, but that we would keep them close and make sure no one was bothered. Right after that we were 'kindly' asked to cash out and leave. At this time there were probably around 20 quietly respectful upper middle class adults that were asked to leave the winery because all of a sudden, with an all but empty patio, they were 'at capacity' and the waitresses felt disrespected because we wouldn't make our children to sit at a table. We were there less than 2 hours and will NEVER be back. Everyone in our party canceled their memberships (oh yes, our party was Full of Members) and we gladly moved across the street to Silvan Ridge. Silvan welcomed us with a Smile and a hug, and we enjoyed the rest of the afternoon enjoying their hospitality and their wine.

Very disappointed with Sweet Cheeks Winery. The view is nice, but you might as well just buy the wine from the grocery store and skip the terrible service. We are (will be canceling) part of their Sweet Wine Club, that offers discounts on wine (cheaper in the grocery store) and includes a 4 flight tasting. Our first visit was awesome. It was very slow, but our waitress (who was a hostess, but has been upgraded, and honestly the only competent worker there) was awesome. We worked with her to try wines we liked. We determined we only like the 2 sweet wines offered. Last visit our server/waiter ignored our table. We asked for a different table as we had reserved one, and even though there were multiple empty he said it was impossible to move us. He did not bring us water after we asked multiple times, I had to go get it myself. Cleared tables before coming over to check on us. We waited 30 minutes with an empty table, and when we tried to order another bottle he informed us there was a reservation behind us and he had to clear our table. We decided we would try one more time. Today was that day. We arrived at 330, got seated by the hostess, she told us who our waitress would be, and then said she could get us started. We ordered, checked out the view, waited awhile. At 345 the hostess came back and said that she could not serve more than 1 of the same thing in our 4 flight (even though they only offer 2 sweet wines in their sweet club and we don’t like anything else and have never had a problem sampling the same wines before we buy a bottle or 2) I also asked to sample their Cider instead, and I was told I could not. I even spoke to a manager, and was basically told that they need to preserve their wine for customers and after asking the manager she said she could bring me a sample of cider, but not as part of the flight. This was at nearly 410, so after a roughly 40 minute wait we finally got to drink our flight. We never did see our waitress, the hostess informed the manager she was taking care of us between checking in other reservations.. If we wouldn’t have had a guest with us, we would have left and not have bought anything at all. Between not being able to get water, basically being ignored two times in a row, seated in a corner after reserving a table (with plenty other tables empty) and not even being able to get what’s included in our membership it’s just not even worth the drive out. Save yourself the time and money and avoid Sweet Cheeks Winery.

Lovely way to spend a few hours. We did dine tasting while eating a Mediterranean plate. Lovely view. Great variety of wines. Excellent table service.

Lovely views from the restaurant. It's worth going just for that. We went to have a taste of some flights. The reds were good but I was expecting more. Being a visitor perhaps I just needed more time in Oregon to develop an appreciation of Oregon wines. The cheese, cracker and jelly tray was high priced for what it was.

I've been going to events here for years. One event that we've done every year is a friends birthday "Derby" event. Historically, we've been welcomed with open arms and very much enjoyed ourselves here. Something has changed dramatically. This year we were scolded for having kids playing at otherwise empty tables and we were kicked out under the guise of some sort of capacity problem. The outdoor area was almost empty and the lower parking lot was completely empty. None of the staff could give us an appropriate reason for making our group leave. So those of us with wine club memberships canceled them and headed over to Sylvan Ridge where we were welcomed and made to feel wanted. Unfortunately, we will not be going back to Sweet Cheeks after this experience. It's clear that they have new agendas under some kind of new management or new ownership. It's a shame because the location is beautiful and has so much great space, they just don't want to share it with everyone.

My friends and I have been to Sweet Cheeks Winery numerous times over the ten past years. However, I noticed yesterday and two weeks ago, that when I ordered a glass of their 2018 Estate Pinot Noir my glass contained what I consider a few ounces of wine. My friends noticed this as well. At $15 per glass, I was disappointed with the amount of wine. I don't plan to return anytime soon.

The wines were so rich and delicious. We enjoyed a cheese plate with our wine tasting that had a very nice selection of cheeses, dried fruits, nuts, olives, jam and crackers. Sam was so friendly and very knowledgeable about all the wines. I highly recommend Sweet Cheeks Winery.

Great selection of wines. Hostess was very educational and made great recommendations for each of our tastes. The cheese and fruit board complimented the wines very well.

Our server Marilyn was outstanding. The tasting room was very well designed with both open and covered areas to enjoy tasting their selections. Wine club memberships are available and I recommend for those wanting discounts and having a great place to share with family and friends. The winery offers a variety of reds and whites with a sparkling wine as well. They have some estate wines as well as aged selections. For those of you who are less thrilled about wine tasting they offer a couple of beers on tap and a cider produced at the estate. All in all a great place for family and friends, dont forget the four legged ones as well. Pet friendly.

Sweet Cheeks is a gem of Lane County! The beautiful setting delights in all seasons: roses and expansive views from their patio in the warmer months and a cozy fireplace vibe in the dark of winter. Sweet Cheeks is always our first thought when people come to visit for the welcoming atmosphere and beautiful indoor/outdoor experience- plus their dynamic wine list has something for everyone (my favorites are the Syrah and the sparkling!) The best part of supporting this family-owned winery is that it is run from a place of authentic desire to cultivate and support the community. Every single person on their team treats me and all of our guests (and puppy!) as if we were family. I am proud to be a wine club member and love being a part of the Sweet Cheeks community! …and I love their new labels/website!

Another wonderful time at Sweet Cheeks. Hats off to Chris Brown, she was above and beyond to make our experience a good one. We really enjoyed the Summer Flight. We love that you can bring your own spread. The only thing that was lacking was more time to spend there!

Absolutely beautiful view, perfectly paired wine and food. The wait staff was amazing and brought out a couple samples for us to taste. Each flavor was just what we needed in that serene moment.

Today we had the best experience at Sweet Cheeks Winery. We almost didn’t go because of the negative comments. We were greeted at the door by cheerful Representatives. We were escorted to a table outside by Claire our server. We selected to share a tasting of reds only and ordered a cheese plate. The cheeses complimented the wines perfectly. Wines, cheeses, great cheerful service, beautiful mountain views, what more can you expect?

This is a beautiful place full of lovely and accommodating employees! They go above and beyond to ensure everyone is enjoying their time. Patty is warm and friendly and made us feel welcomed. Kasey was AMAZING and handled a large, difficult group in the nicest and most professional way. It's hard to imagine that people would be unappreciative at a winery, but you see it all. They handled it with grace! Thank you for all that you do and the best wine west of the Mississippi. 😊

Fantastic winery in the hills south of Eugene Oregon. Stunning view across the valley of grape vines, a large indoor/outdoor plaza for enjoying that view, and room for special events. The wine selection is good, flights are available to sample them, not much for food except cheese plates though. Parking is on site. The staff was phenomenal. SO friendly! We had live music on our visit to enjoy, but I think that might be an occasional thing. Would definitely like to come back.

We enjoyed the Summer Flight with the cheese board. It was a beautiful day and the staff was very sweet! We then decided to try the Coldfire IPA and Sweet Cheeks Cider on draft. It was super cool to try their take on a cider, it was a dry apple cider which was very yummy and crisp. The view was delightful. Can’t wait to come back soon.
