👍 Nice and quiet before the summer months hit. Even though the gate is closed there is enough room to safely park about 6 vehicles off the main road. We walk our dogs here often. If you bring your dogs please be respectful and pick up after them. About my only gripe is the fact that bathrooms are not... Nice and quiet before the summer months hit. Even though the gate is closed there is enough room to safely park about 6 vehicles off the main road. We walk our dogs here often. If you bring your dogs please be respectful and pick up after them. About my only gripe is the fact that bathrooms are not open year around but that is my being picky.

Beautiful park, clean water, surrounded by forested hills. We were there on a Thursday, so it wasn't to crowded. Te hnicslly dogs wee not supposed to be on the beach but a few people had their dogs there enjoying the water and no one seemed to mind, as they were all well behaved. Its quite a trek from West Washington County but well worth the drive.

Great areas for picnicking. Grills on sight. Lots of areas in the shade and sun. The beach area is not sand, it's small pebbles... And the swimming area is completely paved... I'm 5'5 and it was concrete all the way out. (I recommend water shoes).

A very nice place to swim and have a good time. There are a lot of grills to be used. Sometimes the park becomes too busy. Bring cash to enter the park. They close on time.

Family friendly! Clean and felt safe with the barrier around. Would highly recommend wearing swimming shoes the whole time. There's tiny rocks right before the water and rocky cement below the swimming area. Dog friendly too! Quite a few picnic tables!

There are a lot of beautiful picnic areas in the shade surrounded by trees. The swimming area is good. Unfortunately, if you are disabled and mobility is an issue, this isn't the place for you. No access to picnic tables from paved walkways and the picnic and swimming areas are far from the parking lot. Need to use the restroom? Good luck making it that far. It's a long way from the lot and picnic areas, as well. I couldn't go to the bathroom the whole time we were there because I couldn't physically move that far. It was miserable.

Beautiful, clean and quiet. Plenty of places for field games, bbqs, lounging. Designated swimming spot, boat ramp, walkin bridge and plenty of trails. Pet friendly.

Love this spot, only bummers are having to pay $7 for parking (which I believe stays in effect from Memorial Day thru Labor Day) and no pets allowed on the beach or in the water. But pets are allowed in the large grass area where the picnic tables, BBQ grills, and public restrooms are located. There are plenty of shady areas for your pets if you do bring them. It's a pretty small spot for how popular it is during the warm summer days, but it creates an atmosphere that is perfect for making new friends around you! I've never had a negative experience with the other people who hang out there.. except with the park ranger lady who told me my dogs weren't allowed on the beach area lol. This spot is where my dad taught me how to swim when I was 6 years old. It's definitely a happy place! Bring your floaties, sunscreen, and some beers and enjoy yourself!

Decent outdoor environment for afternoon entertainment and cooling off on hot days. Sometimes crowded on the weekends

A very nice swim area, except for people bringing their dogs when it is clearly posted otherwise

It was nice. Not very good spot for people with dogs to swim

There's too many people and not enough spots on the lake. Super crowded and charge for parking( 7 bucks )

How have I lived in the Valley for 33 years and never been to this site? It's really great! We were there on a weekday, so it wasn't too crowded. The water was perfect! We were able to swim and paddleboard and had a great shaded area with a picnic table for snack time and reading. There is a regular bathroom as well as several port-a-potties. On this day there was plenty of parking but I've heard that weekends get very crowded. It was definitely a great site for simple water fun and picnics. I believe there are outdoor grills there, but I'm not positive about that.

Nice park. Easy access to the water with both shallow areas for younger ones and deeper areas for older ones. They did increase the fee to park this year to $7 but after 5pm it's free.

Super small beach, over crowded, and they charge to park your car but overall it was clean and well taken care of, just make a larger beachfront. Oh and the beach is paved?! So wear sandles

Go early (by 10:30am) to get a good spot by the swimming area. Crowded on weekends. Nice picnic tables/BBQ'S some shade trees but bring a canopy. FILTHY BATHROOMS!

Very nice area to swim. Only complaint is the amount of rocks on the beach and the entire lake is cement bottom. If you don't wear swim shoes while there you will leave with hurt feet.

Cool place to hang for the day. Rocky beach, not sensitive feet friendly. Lots of green space to run around.

Great place to take kids of all ages to cool off. Gently sloping area walks out to about 4 ft. Family friendly and life jackets available. Large pea gravel "beach" as well.

👍👍 Easy access to the creek and 3 spectacular waterfall views. There is a lower, mid, and upper lot - each with a small picnic area and kid friendly trail access to one of the nearby falls. All of the trails link up so I'd suggest parking at the lower lot and hiking up towards Majestic Falls so your re...

👍👍 Beautiful waterfall with many viewpoints. Washroom was pretty gross, like overflowing. Weekends the parking lot was insane, but I always found a spot in the lot even though ppl were parking on the highway. Love the trail beside the river, walked to Koosah and back, easy enough trail, but many stairs...
