It's a fairly small park. I went in April and everything was very wet and raining. The facilities are clean but there aren't a lot of amenities there. They have a small play structure, a small basketball court, and a large covered picnic area. The shore line is ok. You can walk out on the docks and admire the view but not much else without a boat at the time I went.

Beautiful state park. The view of the covered bridge in the back ground is picturesque. Covered areas for large families to share a meal with out getting rained on are provided. BBQs are also provided.. bathroom were clean. The Marina is cute holds the local sailboats and fishing boats.. Today the morning was cloudy, have a mysterious look of the bridge.

Always love this place, rain or shine! Recently went there and it started out great. It was sunny and a little chilly but when standing in the sun you could get warm and we had a birthday for a child under the pavilion. An hour later the wind and the rain showed up and even though made everything get chilly it is still a gorgeous place to view the lake and enjoy time with loved onces. This is a family favorite place to go to and I’m sure we will be returning every year for one celebration or another. Beautiful grounds, beautiful views, the tables were clean, and no complains from me!

Great place to bring the kids and a picnic lunch. Big parking lot, great boat launch, basketball court, lots of room to socially distance, and the lake is great to kayak, fish, and swim in. I've caught nice rainbows and Smallmouth bass here

Lovely lake for swimming! Usually packed on the weekends so get there early or go later in the day.

It's beautiful here to kayak or paddleboard. Get there early in the morning during the summer because it gets pretty full!

Fun times lots of people but everyone stayed to themselves. Plenty of room to hangout and play for the kids.

The shore is excellent for small children to wade into the water. No steep slippery or muddy incline to deal with. It’s a great place to spend a sunny warm day. Lots of families. The only negative is the restroom is far away

Every year our experience with Lowell state park just seems to get better and better, the electrical outlets and stove under the cover building all seem to be in tip top shape along with the clean bathrooms. We highly recommend this site over all others and free parking really is free. Our experience was very satisfactory. I highly recommend this area...!!!!

Beautiful area for a nice family or group picnic. A playground is available for the young ones...or the young at heart. A marina and swimming dock round the park out nicely.

Great spot to put your kayak/canoe/boat in for the day or hang out on the grass/”beach" and enjoy the water. Great swim area, picnic tables, a couple grills, perfect for summer. I was under the assumption that there might be kayak or other boat rentals here, but that's not the case, at least never when I'm there.

I'm the camp host there my husband and I are. We were last year this year and next year we sure hope to see you out there! I think that we've cheered the place up quite a bit. It's just a lot of fun up there come on up and have fun good time!

If you have a long trailer, this is the side of the lake to put in... Aside from that, clean facilities and plenty of room.
