Beautful location for an outdoor wedding I was hired to minister. Reminder, pay for parking. That park ranger was on it. Actually delayed a wedding to stop him from ticketing (assuming it was covered by the reservation)

Nice little walking area and hang out spot. Lots of picnic benches, built in grills, fire pits, swings and play ground, Frisbee golf, and easy access to the river. Handicap accessible parking and bathrooms. Beautiful trees and very quiet. Nice dog park as well. Well maintained.

I go here probably at least 3 times a week with my dog. It is so pretty there and we absolutely love the off leash dog excersize area. There typically aren't too many people there during months outside of Summer time, so it's a great place to kind of get away from people but still see the lush environment of someplace like a state park. There is a parking fee of 5 or 6 dollars though, so if you plan to go more than once you might think of getting an Oregon State Parks pass (30 dollars). Over all this is one of my favourite places to go for afternoon adventures.

Little spots to enter the water. Please beware, whether adult and especially kids. A few short feet from the bank, the water is deceptively swift, cold, and deep. There are great lunch spots to bbq, and a playground for littles. I've never done it, but we've seen many people fishing here. Come early on weekends. Oh, also an entirely fenced dog park. $5 fee.

If you don’t like people, this is your spot, there is truly the lack of people here. Nice quiet place to get the dog out. Otherwise, it’s just pretty boring. If you are looking for a place to work on off leashing I guess this is it, because there isn’t anyone around to worry about. I did go on a colder day, but usually any park in Eugene or Springfield is still full on those days. Maybe it’s just because of the area. The trail is very short (pretty sure I saw poison oak but I’m no expert) and the off leash area is just a fence and grass. There wasn’t a single dog in there for mine to play with. She was left with all the smells of the previous dogs and just sad. I hope when I revisit this in spring there will be some dogs there!!

Great park but I drive right past it to go to Elijah Bristow so I can avoid the entry fee! Evidently I’m not the only one that feels this way based on the perennially empty parking lot.

When ever I go here , there is hardly any people. Lots of June bugs always. New golf disk , and they have a fenced dog park. Large parking lot, some shade to park in. And play ground. On the river. I have a state park pass. Nice. I like relaxing in my car. Quiet place

Beautiful area, perfect for outdoor recreation, family gatherings, company picnics, etc. The restrooms are clean, and there is a play area for children. Riverfront property for fishing, cleaning stations, gas stove, and pavilion available to reserve.

Great little disc golf course here. Plus river access for swimming or kayaking.

Beautiful views!! Nice playground and the pavilion was wonderful for the party we attended! Would recommend for a large gathering or family picnic!

The course is rough but fun! We need some work parties and funding for level teepads. Beautiful view, great for dogs, the river is amazing. It has real potential!

My dog and I love this park. Lovely setting and not crowded now. Suspect that will change with warmer weather. Now though, make sure you take water for your pups as the fountain is off now.

Was taking a camping trip with my wife and 3 kids I'm a veteran my kids needed to use the bathroom so we pulled into jasper park to use the bathroom and hit the road again the park rangers told me we could not use the restrooms without paying for a day pass I told them my kids just needed to go to the bathroom and we were leaving. They then said sorry for your luck but you have to pay. As a veteran I feel very unwelcome. Even with my vet pass

Gorgeous and peaceful. A little drive from town. No city noises and that's super!

Great access and good parking make this park great for family reunions or birthday parties. The fees seem steep but thats todays world.

Was a great place to spend the day, only a couple of small spots to reach the river but still great place. The previous host Dan and Sharie were great painted rocks with the kids and were full of info.

One of the best parks anywhere. I'm not a fan of people renting out the sites and not showing up when others could have used that location but not the parks fault. Beautiful.

I would really love if this place continued to be as under used as it is. We go almost every day to run our reactive dog. It's a fee area which I think is why it's much quieter. Right now the mosquitos are out in force and you have to watch your foot for gopher holes. But personally I like the line of sight, and the hosts are always chill.
