Big shout out to Jeff & Paula, what other hosts/caretakers would take the time and thought to put up birthday decorations for someone they just met?! 😀 Paula also made changing sites easy, it was our first time there and we discovered a more suitable site to keep our boat in the water overnight (at our site). Clean park, nice lake. Not sure why the office is so far away though, seems it would be much more efficient to have it nearer the host site. We'll be back!

We tried to go here a few weeks back and were extremely disappointed. There is not really any way other then the boat ramp to get down to the water. Jet skiers were riding all the way up to were there were crowds of people and kids. Not many options to swim around. I'm sure when the water is higher it is better, but mid July and later is no good.

Jeff and Paula are amazing, they went above and beyond to make our stay at Baker Bay comfortable AND fun. I spent several hours talking with Jeff and Paula while my family and I were here, they’re the type of people that will make you feel at home. It was like seeing old friends. The campground is kept clean and free of debris, the restrooms and showers are maintained regularly but some campers aren’t as clean or considerate of others so you might encounter their messes if they left one, but not to worry, the other host responds to those requests very quickly. There is a boat ramp, dock, and access to the lake from the day use parking lot, plenty of parking and lots of space in the grass to spread out, even a play structure between the shore and office for kiddos to play on. You can reserve online and in person.

The park stewards were.amazing. their knowledge of the area was quite informative and understanding of how customer service is to be applied was superb. There are plenty of RV camp spaces available@, the showers were piping hot, the park was clean and well kept. The surrounding views are breathtaking. A must see in the dog days of summer for sure with boat ramp dock and plenty of shoreline too. It's also a wonderful place to visit in the colder months as well. You simply have to visit this quaint place on dorena lake it's beautiful.

Beautiful, well maintained, lots of picnic benches. I wish the waterline had been higher so you didn't have to hike down to fish, or that there was an easier less steep place to get to the lake from, but we will definitely be coming back

Nice quiet place to get away. Camping spots have no water or electrical hookups, so you're off grid here. No cell phone signal at all with Verizon. Has a nice boat launch and a beautiful lake for fishing.

It is very beautiful and clean there and the hosts are really awesome ppl. They have on-site showers that are free to use. I really enjoyed my stay with all my kids and grandkids.

Beautiful, scenic views of the lake. Quiet and nice for day use. No specific swim area but plenty of places to enjoy the water near the dock. Not many amenities in the day use area which is rather unfortunate.

My family stays at Dorena Lake almost every year. Baker Bay Campground, with the spot that I had, was phenomenal! Direct water access, enough to be away from other people walling through the camps. 10/10 for sure!

We wanted to stay at the campground and it was ridiculous! Their website has all these openings posted, which there weren't. It looks serene, which it is absolutely not. So many people crammed in so tight, and loud. Some guy running a hose off a communal spigot to his RV. Just a dusty cramped mess. We didn't camp but let the kids swim. Muddy/sandy bottom for feet. Nice large roped off swim area. Mature trees and picnic tables in sun n shade.

It was a little concerning getting in and out of the boat docks with all the kids swimming and paddle boarding in the bay. It is a nice area not too busy on the main body. Water is warm so fish are a little deeper and not as active now.

Great park about 30 minutes from Eugene. Even crowded as it was, we could easily socially distance. The water felt nice. Everyone was respectful. And my favorite part: no alcohol allowed on site. At all. So you don't have any of the loud crazy out of control people that are often present when alcohol is involved.

Great lake access, super clean facilities. Nice people, well maintained. My only complaint is that most of the campsites are very dusty. The ground has very little foliage, making for a dusty and dirty experience.

Really sad how Lane County parks has let this place deteriorate. This has been going on for a long time. The docks, parking lot, concessions stand are all in poor condition. This used to be one of the nicest parks on a lake.
