Absolutely STUNNING architecture! Although I am not a LDS member I can appreciate the desire to make the house of the Lord a thing of stunning beauty. The white marble stands put against the trees in the background. Obviously the trumpet sounding Saint perched atop the highest spire is something only truly appreciated via Drone. This series of photos were taken with a DJI Mini 3.

Going to the temple is always an amazing experience, and the portland temple is no exception! It feels like stepping into a sanctuary and refuge from the outside world when you step onto temple grounds. Everything is so pristine and beautiful! There is a well staffed visitor's center for those unable to go inside but want to learn about the temple.

Beautiful grounds that are open to the public. Please visit is a way to maintain the peaceful environment. Great place to walk the gardens or sit and ponder. There is also a great visitor center where you can learn more about the temple.

The Portland Oregon Temple grounds are beautiful and free for anyone to visit. It is a great place to meditate. To go inside the temple, you need to be an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Some of the most amazing architecture I've seen on a modern church building. The visitor's center is not nearly as big as the one in Mesa, but the Temple is incredible to look at. The landscaping is also incredible. The marble on the building is smooth. The symmetrical patterns of the Temple design itself is amazing mathematically.

Wonderful place! The building is amazing and the landscaping is gorgeous! I was the photographer for a young couple before and after their wedding ceremony. There are so many places to take wonderful images or to just walk around and explore the beauty. There is ample parking and just being there is a peaceful experience.

Amazing place so pretty I recently attended an LDS temple and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The temple was absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere was very peaceful and spiritual. The temple workers were very friendly and welcoming. The temple was filled with amazing artwork and symbolism that was meaningful and inspiring. The spiritual instruction I received there was life-changing and I felt a great sense of peace and joy. I highly recommend that anyone interested in learning more about the LDS faith visit a temple and experience it for themselves.

Beautiful architecture, impressive building. You'll want a tour so that you can get all the interesting details like the make of the marble walls. Best time to visit us probably late spring when everything is in bloom and the leafs are on the trees. You might hear birds tweeting as you walk around. Not everyone can enter the temple building, it is private. To enter you'll need what is called a temple recommend card from the bishop of the local church of the denomination. Getting a card probably requires being a church member too. Going into the visitors center is a must, lots of interactive sets and info.

Today was my first visit to the Portland Temple, to any Temple. I'm a new member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, snd today I was given the sublime opportunity to perform surrogate baptisms and confirmations for my father, grandfather, and three uncles. I thank our Heavenly Father for the blessings that are fulfilled in the Church, the Portland Temple plays an important and beautiful role in those blessings.

Loved this place, beautiful grounds and met by wonderful people with whom we were able to build strong connection! Recommend to visit this place, even if it is just to walk around the garden and take pictures.

I lived in Portland 25 years ago and frequently visited this temple. There is something truly special and spiritual about this place. The photos don’t do the grounds and the ambiance justice. You will just have to come and experience it yourself. SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL 😍.

The first time I have ever visited the Portland Temple. I would have to say, wow it is absolutely beautiful! Only the visitor center was open because it was a holiday. I enjoyed being there and could feel the spirit like no other place I have been before. I will be going back soon!!

Beautiful! I walked the grounds with my little ones, and a temple gardener even helped me lift my stroller over some of the stairs. It's a beautiful place, very peaceful.

The temple is an amazing place! I absolutely love the opportunity to attend the temple and learn more about myself and about God's plan for me! I know that families can be together for eternity and that temples make it all possible! The grounds are maintained and effort is made for the temple to look peaceful and beautiful all throughout the year! It is truly the house of the Lord!

The Portland Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (In Lake Oswego). Is a gorgeous edifice. The grounds there are meticulously landscaped & lovingly maintained thru all seasons & weather. The Visitor Center is a great way to learn about Christ, His Church & this Temple dedicated to God. I've been several times & the unique quietude & peace I feel there is unliike what I can find in my daily life. It's wonderful, go visit!

It is a beautiful marvel of architecture. It is a precious holy place for my religion. It is known as on of the many houses of The Lord (God). People aren't allowed to enter the temple unless they are worthy members of my church, but the visitors center is for everyone and is an amazing place. Good to visit as the name implies.

Was delivering plants to the temple, and the grounds keeper was extremely nice and helpful. I don't agree with Mormons but I have to admire the beauty and dedication they have as it truly shows in this work of art. Highly recommend walking down the roads around there and stopping by to see the craftsmanship. Will definitely bring my family to sight see here someday.

This is one incredible place to find some good peace, joy, and happiness. We spent a bit of time in the visitor center on the side and we're greeted by amazing sister missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They spent time talking about God and Christ, which left us feeling loved and noticed in this world. Would recommend anyone interested to visit and get to know more of their message they shared with us.

LDS Temples are open to the public before their Dedication and then accessible to members who qualify for a Temple Recommend. Walking the grounds is open to all; I highly suggest that everyone should! There are few places on earth that will resonate such peace to the soul. Also, send time in the Visitor's Center for a greater experience!

Beautiful place. One of the prettiest temples in the church because of its location in the woods. Very picturesque. Inside is even better with a small indoor garden space open to temple visitors before the recommend desk. The celestial room is absolutely stunning with two floors.

👍👍 We love this park! They have everything here from bocce ball courts to large glass areas to play to water features, a dock where you can go down to the water, and an overlook point that’s covered with a shade sale to view the boats, kayakers, rowers, and action sports all passing by. It’s a very l...

👍👍 Visited this park for the first time today. It looks like there's a lot of other fun amenities for families but what we came for was called the quarry. This is a portion of the park that is a bike track that has a variety of skill paths available. My 10-year-old and I enjoy going back over and over...

👍👍 A very beautiful peaceful hilltop park in a cozy corner. Love driving here where you get to see beautiful houses on the way up. The park is small but offers pretty view. Especially sunset time. It’s quite and peaceful here to just gaze out and enjoy the view. It has two benches as well.
