My kids had so much! The Discovery Room is incredible, and has a lot of fun, interactive games and activities for kids if all ages. They also have live reptiles you can look at, and beautiful trails you can walk. We will definitely come back again and again.

RLSC is a great place for your kids to learn about native plants and animals. It is affordable ($3 per child) and the employees are friendly. Additionally, some of the play areas are free to access! From time to time they have traveling exhibit and do not charge a surcharge to access these exhibits. I also highly suggest heading to the River Legacy Park 2 minutes down the street to run off any leftover energy!

Fun spot! Staff was informative and kind and everything was really clean. There are some reptiles in the free lobby area to look at and a small fee to enter the bigger activity area. We spent about an hour here. Fun air conditioned activity for the summer!

The staff make this place great. This a good place to bring your kids for 1 hour or so but the staff (especially Lisa) are SO helpful, kind, and rich in animal knowledge that it makes it worth a visit. The living science center is quaint and located by short nature paths (less than 10 min walk) by a scenic pond. Inside the science center there are mostly amphibians and reptiles to view behind glass. The discovery room itself (which costs $5) is a little small but a great enclosed place to let your kids run (responsibly) free for 30 minutes with relaxed observation. There are some fun physically engaging video games that help children learn more about animals.

An absolute amazing and fun place for children. We had a ferret demonstration, saw many animals, nature walk with an AR app and learned a lot. It’s great that kids can connect with nature here and enjoy a lot of activities.

It's a cute little Museum. I’d say a 15-25 minute walkthrough inside. The staff was very kind and helpful. Not too much to do here, but it’s worth a visit!

This place is amazing! There's a ton of land, multiple entrances, and so many walking/biking trails with lanes. I love the fact there's multiple playgrounds, picnic areas, and even an upper body workout station. Perhaps best part is the science center, which is quite hidden and blends in with the environment. It's beautiful and has a lot of info for all ages. They host events throughout the year and post info about wildlife. Even, concrete paths and lots of grass so everyone can effort differently!

Visited for a day from out of town with my 3 and 5 year old and we had a grand old time. The volunteers were welcoming and helpful. There was a clean, tidy indoor space with the option to pay a nominal fee for a "discovery room" for the kiddos. The free space still had toys and some exhibits to enjoy. Trails and playgrounds also dot the park and we were happy to take advantage of them. For the locals, the summer camps seemed lively and enjoyable from my observation

We had a very positive experience with the summer camp program. It is difficult to find programs for kids under five and we are so lucky we found this place. Our son looked forward to each day. Well priced. Great communication. Easy registration process.

Cool.place to visit. Seems to be a little ran down on the outside. It needs some TLC. The discovery center was fun for the kids. But even it's small and doesn't hold the kids attention very long.

Super friendly people and very cool native life science exhibit. Totally worth the $5 donation for adult admission!

We had our family reunion there yesterday . IT was awesome only concerned we had our signs out front to let the public know we had paid for our family reunion to reserve the right that you cannot come through the Pavilion, walking or Jogging in the covered area that we had our children and grandchildren there playing in the area, we didn't know these people's. We politely ask them to leave.

A lovely little nature park that is very well maintained. A great tree canopy that will keep you cool on warm day. Entry to the park is free!

So I have not personally experienced this center YET....but our car broke down this was the closest building and we asked if we could come inside to stay cool and the receptionist was AMAZING. She was so sweet and helpful showing my kids around. My toddlers warmed up to her IMMEDIATELY. I will definitely be going to the events when I'm off and looking into putting my son into this center. She deserves a raise. Plus the place was beautiful from the little we got to see. We could have broke down anywhere so I'm so thankful it was here.. THANK YOU.

My son and I had an amazing time. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. Elley was very knowledgeable and helpful. She gave us a tour and answered all of my questions. This place is a hidden gem, if you have kiddos; they’ll love the place.

I recently visited River Legacy Science Center, and I can confidently say that it is a haven for both kids and adults who appreciate the great outdoors. This place truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. First and foremost, the center's fall festivals are an absolute blast! The events are thoughtfully planned and engaging, offering a wide range of activities that cater to all age groups. From interactive exhibits to hands-on experiments, there is something for everyone to enjoy and learn from. The staff members are knowledgeable and passionate, making the experience even more enriching. One of the highlights of my visit was exploring the nature trails. These trails are a paradise for nature lovers and adventurers alike. The trails are well maintained, offering a safe and enjoyable experience for visitors. Walking along these paths, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the beauty of the surrounding flora and fauna. The serene atmosphere and the variety of wildlife sightings made it an unforgettable experience. What sets River Legacy Science Center apart is its dedication to education and conservation. The center provides valuable educational resources and programs that promote environmental awareness and appreciation. It's not just about having fun; it's about learning and understanding our natural world. This commitment to education truly shines through in all aspects of the center's offerings. Whether you're a parent looking to engage your kids in hands-on learning or an adult seeking a rejuvenating outdoor experience, River Legacy Science Center is the perfect destination. The combination of exciting festivals, well-kept nature trails, and a strong emphasis on education make it a standout attraction. I highly recommend visiting this remarkable place and experiencing the wonders of nature firsthand.
