This was our first time here and let me tell you, this place is absolutely delicious! True to the word rustic, the set up was perfect. Staff were very lovely and the service was excellent Covid measures were mostly followed. Everything on the menu looked amazing, we had the dirty nut iced coffee and the Dukkah eggs, I could eat that every day if i was living here. cant wait to go back.

Lovely cafe, good vibes! But I was surprised they charged weekend surcharge 10%… two cups of coffee, banana bread and sardines plates cost $55🙄

Meet here for brunch in a three generation family reunion. Perfect spot for that. Lovely day so we sat outside but had shade for the sun-shy. All the breakfasts were tasty and a bit different to good old eggs Benedict. Some thought had obviously gone into it. Nice vibe and felt like a place with good values / beliefs.

The chef did an amazing job and the review would be higher if it wasn’t let down by the awful service. My family and I came to this cafe only to be treated poorly by the waitstaff and barista. My partner was waiting awhile for his coffee and only thought to mention that he hadn’t received his after everyone else on the table had finished their Brunch. He merely asked the lady at the front of house only to have them insinuate he was lying by sending another waitstaff out to check the table to see if there was a coffee cup there. Furthermore, she continued to state that she had already made it and sent it to the table. After this, a female waitstaff approached the table, stood behind my partner, and placed his coffee and a receipt on the table saying, you didn’t pay for this coffee so “pay when you’re done.” Lastly, I went to pay for this coffee that we hadn’t paid for apparently and as i get to the FOH there are 2 ladies, one waitstaff and the barista. Both these girls were rudely (and openly) discussing my partner and the fact that he said “cheers mate”, then continued to face in the direction of where we were sitting and said choice words with both fingers up. THIS IS UTTERLY DISGUSTING AND SO DISRESPECTFUL!!! the fact that they thought it was appropriate to speak with that language, and in that area where customers are constantly entering shows that they have little to no customer etiquette. Their behaviour was childish and I would have hoped that they’d have both been trained better, in their job and in their life. Prior to any of this blow up, there was no attempt to resolve the issue in any way. I’ve worked in hospitality for many years, i can literally think of 6 different ways i could’ve handle that situation without affecting the customer or the business!!! Safe to say we will NOT be returning ever, nor will our friends, or friends of friends. Just an utter shame, because the food was good.

Great place, delicious food and was so peaceful to just sit and eat. Super recommend going there even if just for a cup of coffee and definitely for the pistachio and white chocolate cake!

Really nice. Not as good as its sister restaurant (folk). You can construct your own "elixirs" which are quite nice. the coffee is good and the meals are great, we both enjoyed the double butty and the harvest bowl, but there is a 10% weekend surcharge and the meal wasn't great value.

Great coffee and food. Very busy although we did go during the holiday season, maybe better not during the holidays. Even though it was very busy the food came out reasonably quickly, only forgot one part of our order which was understandable considering how busy it was and there were 10 of us. Can very much recommend going to this place if you are going through Bangalow.

I just love this place! It’s not just the coffee and food that are amazing, also the atmosphere feels so welcoming. The staff treated me extremely well! I highly recommend Woods, you won’t regret visiting this charming cafe In Bangalow. Trust me :)

Love Woods. The Campbell Scramble and tacos were tasty and filling. Staff were friendly and attentive. Also had the LSD (Dandy Soy Latte) which is a new favourite. Very relaxing sitting underneath all the hanging plants in the courtyard area. Great galleries close by.

Extraordinary food, ambience and staff. Seriously world class. So delighted to have found this place. Not sure if the tables broadly spread (parents can relax!), or the delicious & inventive brunch/food, or the kind staff wins - but combined makes a really special place we’ll come back to as often as possible.

We stopped here for a snack and stumbled across the best banana bread we have ever had! Was served in a way we have never seen before with the fruit, cream and decorative flowers. Super tasty as well as a lemon cake which we shared that was equally as good. The iced tea that we had was also super refreshing on that hot day. Lovely place that was also very well decorated! Would recommend to anyone passing through and we willl definitely be back when we return to Byron!

$14 for banana bread and berries. Do yourself a favour and go to another cafe. I get cheaper breakfast options in the middle melb/Syd/bne. No amount of pomp and macadamia butter can make this worth it

Off to Byron Writers Festival, but first, coffee. Such a beautiful sunsoaked courtyard and verandah. Because of the large number of people like me, grabbing that pre festival coffee, it was busy. Fortunately coffee was served within about 15 minutes, and that time allowed me to soak up the ambience. Coffee was nice, and service came with a smile.

Beautiful setting and creative approach to food and drinks. Had an iced coffee which was presented beautifully. I loved how this proofed an opportunity to celebrate my coffee!

The food is a little pricey side, but very tasty, nice presented, and different from your typical breakfast offer. Great coffee, good service, and plenty of uncover seating in the courtyard.

Ordered a breakfast burrito which is already made, they just need to toast.. but still took more than 45 mins to arrive. They served other 4 tables before us and we have to followed up twice.. Did not enjoy sitting down as well on a table with lots of flies. 2 stars for the good food though.

👍👍 Nine of us went in here and had a wonderful time. They had a lot of kiddie toys in one corner, so our little one was well entertained. The thick shake was so delicious! It was so filling too. Didn’t like the ice latte. It was too bitter for me. The cheesecake was average. Sausage roll was yummy! Pan...

👍 Update. Three years after my first review of this joint & it's still going strong. Great for a quick snack or lunch with the best coffee. Great selection of pastries, sambos etc. Try the spinach & cheese roll. Congratulations on your new business! The new bakery is a vast improvement on tired old Ch...

😠 I am so disappointed to walk in this great coffee shop and find out they do not take cash payments. This sets such a dangerous precedent on our lives, it is not worth the 'convenience'. Convenience does not justify this at all. I had to voice out how wrong I think this is for the community. I really...
