Great Gyoza dumplings (only on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays after 4 pm) and IPA! Great Salamis available. Expensive ++ but great quality! Brilliant as always! Great beers and great egg sandwiches

What an absolute asset to the area. Clunes General Store, Bottle shop and Cafe proves that you really can have it all. Inside is a great range of interesting and delicious food items from daily basics to eclectic epicure selections, largely locally sourced. The bottle shop next door provides a range of lubricating liquors and bags of ice and the cafe to the side is the belly of the beast. Clunes General cafe serves delicious All Press coffee in a casual atmosphere. The breakfast menu is mostly sandwiches and salads but the vegan bowl is delicious and I can’t complain with the bacon and egg roll I was served! Delicious selection of cakes and sweets- my blueberry cheesecake was the star dish of my whole day. Something about this wholesome small town enterprise pulls you in tight and satisfies you like the first home cooked meal with family after time away. Will be back any and every excuse I get.

Local 27 yrs. Local to Bexhill, Clunes, ELTHAM area 5 yrs...have seen whole area change. Moved back after double parent Deceased estate. Post floods. Going in to grab that quick something, getting stuff posted, treating myself after (ever having 1 holiday in my entire working history - 34 yrs, living a simple, un materialistic life - low needs or wants). It's flawless. I can go there, treat myself to my favourite dine out - from home food. Amazing coffee. Fabulous service. Impeccable characters across the board. Coming from a : A class cooking family of 12 races, & fussy coffee critics - I can find balance sitting there & enjoy exceptional everything. It's my safe space. It's my family away from having no family left. The staff are over & above in everything they do, obvious the moment I first walked in - on my return in Oct 2022. Driving to Brisbane, it casts me off everytime. Coming back it's my - thank god I'm coming home..I'm an observer, I watch, I listen, I look for consistency, honour, integrity, sincerity, honesty. It becomes deleted if these criteria aren't up to scratch. The entire family of Clunes store - Flawlessly meet them at every turn. I ran into a key staff member, half way up the main St. We talked. Laughed & swapped. She got it. Like "got it". Clearly busy, but saw the local in me, as I saw the local in her. That is a uniquely beautiful human being. The store is full of them. I hope Clunes never looses it's delicious individuality & local raw truth. Nothing matters unless it is Truth. Truth Is - food is A class. Store & Cafe. Service from West to East side of the store is ⚡⚡⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Coffee, & gorgeous souls are priceless... They smash it out of the ball park. My mum was a food critic, she found every hot spot in Nth Rivers. Everytime I'm at Clunes. I know she's with me... Asking how something is... Is Gold standard A+ Xx Keep kicking goals - cafe to store to post office. X

Well worth a stop to get some great breads and something unique. There is a great selection of seasonal fresh produce, unique drinks, great looking pies, and basic groceries.

Great lil shop/cafe been going here for years! Even after the change of management its quality stays the same. Missing a star because there is no more option to order over the phone! Would be great if they got an app or bring back the order over the phone option. Because the wait times can be over 20 minutes for a coffee not great if you’re in a rush!

Just dropped in to check out the general store, ended up leaving with chocolates. Looks to be a lovely town
