Horrible, disgusting place! I just left this location on Clark street at 3:55 pm on monday May 21, 2018. Since the staff in this location is very small and frequently there are only around two employees in the whole place, they get away with a lot of bad behavior. I called in today politely and asked them if they had any specials, as I have done many times in the past. This time when I got a papa john's representative, a white male, who was very rude. He told that they "had a lot of specials" that day. I chuckled and said "awesome, what are they?" And he said "there were too many, he was not going to list all of them." I was taken aback at first and thought he was kidding, and then I realized her was serious. He said "just tell me what pizza you want and tell you if it's in special." I told him, I wasn't sure what pizza I wanted. How many specials are there exactly? I heard a click and then I asked "well can you please tell me about your single pie specials?", only to find out the man had just rudely hung up. I was appalled. I called back and asked him why he hung up on me. He said because he felt like it or something to that affect. I said I was going to come down into the store this is unacceptable. So i walk down to the store and I asked him if he was the one who just hung up on me. He said "mostly likely, so? What's the big deal?" I said excuse me? I've worked in hospitality for almost 10 years (not in a pizza shop) but I would never treat customers like that it's so professional. I also confronted him and saidthat I saw the sign outside that listed the specials and their were only two. Both single pie deals. So why exactly did he make it seem as though there were 20 specials he had to read off. Mind you, the store was completely empty, so he was not busy. He was just standing there doing nothing the whole time. I once again tell him this is no way to talk to customers and I hope those phone calls are recorded. He then, this is the part where it gets even more ridiculous, starts cursing and yelling at me and then tell me to "get the F*** out." The whole time I was talking to him, I was not yelling, I was as respectful as one could be in the situation and calm while he was erratic. I then told him, "oh, so now you're yelling and cursing at customers who would like to buy pizza as well?" I asked him for his name and he refuses to give it to me. Probably because he knows he was breaking rules. I asked if I order a pizza would his name be on the receipt. He said no. I told him I don't feel comfortable ordering with you is there any other employee in here. He says there's one in the back, I say perfect can you please ask him to come out. He says no. So I say I will wait until the employee comes out from the back. He says once again I have to "get the F*** out if I'm not ordering" (as if I would order from the man yelling and cursing at me and being completely unapologetic. I sit there quietly and wait for the other employee to appear. Finally a man comes out from the back. I ask him what is the man's name who was cursing at me. He says his name was "Mike". I ask him if he's the general manager or the shift manager, he alleges he doesn't know because he's new and looks nervous. I asked him if I could order with him, and he says no I would have to order from "mike". This "mike" person said he would call the police to coerce me to leave. I say that's fine, once they get here I will get your name &leave. While I am in the store, I called corporate to report him. The police come i gladly agree to leave and ask them to ask his name. They ask his name he says "mike" and refuses to give his last name. The police say corporate can verify his real name since they will have the employees schedule. While I was sitting there waiting for the police to come quietly, the "mike" person who alleged he was a manager is STARING at me menacingly as if to make me uncomfortable. It was insane. This man should not be working in customer service. It was scary. Then I decide to take a photo of him and he tries to hide and takes a photo of me. .

Terrible customer service. Delivered burnt pizza. Called back to no response. Contacted corporate customer service and they promised me on several occasions that management from the store would correct the situation. It's been 2 months and no one has made this right. Terrible management at this location and my corporate service in general

In my honest opinion this store is dirty, not clean, not sanitized, employees never wash there hands and yet touch the food with there bare hands, they failed 1 major inspection due to the whole place being dirty and never check dates or follow the FIFO (First In First Out) they used expired dough and ingredients so yeah don’t trust this place AT ALL!!!

I tried the new cool ranch papadia steak. It was a joke and doesn't look like what they have on their website. The crust is thin, I couldn't hold it and had to use my folk and knife. The juice absorbed the crust, making it useless 😒 plus the meat looked cheap and had one piece taste like rubber. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!

Pizza that was delivered was completely wrong. Called the next day (was delivered around midnight) after trying to reach customer support via papa John’s website (apparently that doesn’t exist?) called the store manager said a portion of the order was wrong and I’d like a refund, and was told “we can not refund a portion of the order” so I said it was not right and I couldn’t even eat it and i was met with “ma’am don’t get loud with me we are two grown adults” I’ve worked in customer service for 12 years and wow. This was bad. Only positive is they did refund me. Will never order from here again.

Worker wouldn't take my order, said that she was busy, really nasty disrespectful attitude. I feel bad for the owner, they are loosing business with her working there. It was 5:15 in the afternoon, and she didn't want to make my order a10 inch pizza.

My delivery took much longer than expected, and the track option doesn’t track. My delivery guy was so rude and called me he was here. I go outside and he’s down the street and I HAVE TO GO TO HIM. Then after I carry all my items back down the street to my house, my pizza was flipped upside down. I had cheese and sauce all over the place, pizza slices upside down and folded in half. I think a lot of it had to do with the delivery driver hating his job and not caring about anything. I will never, never order from here again. I rather order Domino’s and not over pay for horrible pizza.

I’m surprised the ratings are as low as they are. I’ve ordered several times for late night foods and these guys deliver fast and the food slaps

They stole my credit information. Called for a large order and hung up once I placed it. They called back saying they needed my card info. Didn’t think too much to it until I started getting fraud alerts that same night. Strange coincidence that was the only time I gave my information out like that. DO NOT GO.

First time I ordered a medium pizza it took over an hour to arrive and was stone cold and burnt. The next time we ordered, the pizza was supposed to arrive in 45 minutes. We kept waiting but...nothing. After an hour and a half it was marked as delivered but had NOT been delivered. We called the store and the manager hung up on us (more than once). Terrible service. Bad pizza. Wish we could get delivery from another Papa Johns!

After paying a $6-7 delivery fee + $7 tip - I expect a call or text to intercept pizzas from delivery driver. Not acceptable to find them left outside on the stairs in 20F weather. Learning it was Door Dash driver ruins them for me now, too.
