We visited the office earlier today to have our baby daughter examined for excessive vomiting. We were very frightened for her as she had been vomiting very large amounts since 2am. Since her pediatrician is unavailable Saturdays, we decided to take her here-NEVER AGAIN. To start, the check in lady came off quite curt and rude when we arrived. I don't even believe she made eye contact with me. Just instructed me to write my name on the sheet n wait. Not open to answering questions. Which we had bc we had never been here before. Then, once we get taken back we are escorted to our nurse, nurse "JJ," who immediately made us feel unwelcome, uneducated, and irresponsible as parents. She completely disregarded our concerns and made us feel silly for even coming there. I had explained to her what had been happening with our daughter and why I was concerned and instead of trying to help, she lectured me on the proper usage of the term "lethargic" and advised that we obviously shouldn't feed our daughter after she throws up. Which, came off very accusatory to two 1st time parents. As if something we were doing trying to help her was making our daughter sicker. The female doctor who came in after was more pleasant, but equally as dismissive. I obviously don't want anything to be wrong with our daughter but it felt as though no one was trying to help us help her. The dr said she was the happiest baby she'd seen all morning, denied testing, and sent us on our way with no verbal care instructions at all. Told us she was probably vomiting up mucous from a cold from over 2 weeks ago? I looked on the take home sheet after we were dismissed and saw 2 medications listed that no one had spoken to us about and some common info on Infant vomiting. We left and our daughter proceeded to projectile vomit all over herself, her carseat, and our vehicle on the 20 min ride home. She had also pooped all over herself. This is the 5th time our 10 month old has projectile vomited in less than 12 hrs. But sure, "she's fine." We will not be back and I would suggest you go elsewhere to find a care team that actually "cares."

I have an 84 y/o mother who I have brought to this Prompt Care 3 times in the last year. Each time the medical staff has been extremely kind, caring, professional and helpful. We've never had a terribly long wait either. If it weren't for the lady who checks us in, and she's always there, I would give this clinic a 5 star rating. She sure isn't very friendly. Thank u OSF.

It was the exact same experience as a previous post. I took my daughter in for a foot injury and they said they could not see her because they met their quota for the day and they were already full in the back. However, there was no one in the back. All four ladies were talking in the reception area including nurses. So they lied about being full in the back area. I arrived at 6:40 which was 20 minutes before closing and they wouldn't even look at her foot. I find this unacceptable in the medical profession. If you would like to leave your job early then the close time should be 6:00pm. This would allow you to treat patients up until 6:00pm and still be able to leave at 7:00 pm. If you are going to deny patient care for the last half hour to hour, you should not get paid until 7:00pm just for sitting around talking. If you are not in the medical field to help people please consider looking for new employment. I also find it interesting that this is happening at an OSF prompt care, just to be clear there was no christian like behavior at the Morton prompt care. I just can't help but wonder if these four ladies have children or grandchildren that would need help and be denied because the quota was already met for the day. Please consider other prompt care venues when needing immediate care.

I visited the Morton OSF PromptCare on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, and I was very pleased with the experience. My visit took almost exactly one hour from the time I signed in until I was walking out the door. I had about a 10-minute wait from the time I signed in until the check-in clerk called my name--(because of the people who had signed in ahead of me), and she was very friendly and didn't take up much time at all. Then, I don't think it was even 2 minutes after I was finished with her before they called me back to see the nurses & doctors. I had 2 nurses who took my blood pressure, temperature, strep test, and got the specifics as to why I had come to the clinic. They were cordial and efficient and were very attentive. The doctor came in less than 5 minutes after the nurses were done, and she had a younger doctor with her, who I assume she was training/supervising. BOTH of them took turns looking in my throat, nose, ears, and listening to my lungs. I felt they were both very easy to talk to and professional. They discussed my diagnosis after the strep test results came back, and the younger doctor came back in with my prescription and carefully discussed the antibiotic's side effects and answered all of my questions. As I said earlier, I was walking out the door after a total of one hour...which surprised me because I was prepared for a long wait--(since it is winter and so many people are sick)! I realize that wait times can vary based on the number of people who happen to show up for help, but I would definitely recommend this clinic based on my visit there.

I was referred to go here to get an MRI. (backstory: I had an similar test at the downtown location, and the stuck me through a scar on my hand. The entire time, the contrast dye leaked causing nerve damage and a blood clot. To protect themselves, my OSF doctor stopped seeing me to try to avoid a lawsuit. Funny thing is I never mentioned trying to sue them and never spoke to a lawyer. Fast forward to today.). I went in to have the MRI, and the lady who took me back was RUDE from the moment she introduced herself to me. We got back to the room, and I informed her of the incident from downtown and told her that I would not allow her to stick me in the same spot due to the bad experience. She called me a liar and told me that never happened. My chart shows that it did because I ended up in the ER due to the severity of the pain. She asked me what I wanted her to do. I instructed her that I was willing to let her stick me in the arm. She refused and said I would let her stick me in the hand or I could get out. I again said that I was not willing to do that because of the problems that happened before. She again called me a liar and told me to get out!! She was absolutely the rudest, and worst healthcare worker I have ever dealt with! I will never go back to this location.

The folks here were really nice and the facility was nice and clean. However, I was in town visiting family and went in for a simple swab test. I had to call over a week later to get my results because no one called me, emailed me, or sent me a letter. I was pretty sure their results were wrong, so I went to see my doctor when I got home and I was right. My doctor said it's an easy and straightforward swab test, so they clearly ran the wrong tests. I'm now stuck with a $200 bill for incorrect tests.

Went to the prompt care in Morton on the 13th for bronchitis symptoms had battled bronchitis for 20 years. Nurse practitioner Spangler came in asked what was going on I explained my symptoms and she immediately went straight to a Covid test I expressed to her I did not want the test. She was very persistent giving me the impression that she wouldn’t treat anything without her doing a test. Very uncomfortable feeling coming from health care worker. After refusing the test 3 times I just told her to do it. With no shock the test came back positive. Then the pressure started on getting a appointment for my vaccine. I strongly refused. At the end of this whole ordeal I received the same medication that I always have to treat bronchitis. In my opinion test and vaccines are personal choice should not be pushed. In my opinion nurse practitioner Spangler acted very unprofessional if the patient says no their they should be acknowledged. Also I will ad I had no symptoms then and have had no symptoms to the day. In the past I have had excellent service at this facility. Not this time.

Caitlin in outpatient labs is incredible!! She wanted to make sure my testing was as accurate as possible. Mind you I have 3 samples to leave 3 days in a row. First one I took to Pekin and they accepted my sample and that ones processing. Today Morton was an easier option.. To my surprise she wanted to talk to me in the back... She showed me how I was given the wrong container and there was a 30 minute time limit for it to be put into the correct container for it to be an accurate test and I was over 30 mins past time. It was at that moment I realized the test I gave Pekin the day before was possibly false negative due to being the wrong container and testing procedure totally. Caitlin in outpatient labs is incredible!! She wanted to make sure my testing was as accurate and I just want to say thank you so much for making me feel heard and going the extra mile to even call my doctor's office and help comfort me!!

Nurse Debbie needs to learn how to speak to people with respect and not be so rude and condescending. Honestly, almost everyone there does. Not one time have I went there and not had at least 1 staff member be rude. They make you feel worthless and a burden that you came for help.

👍👍 I had to go to OSF Urgent Care in Morton on Sunday for an injury. The staff could not have been more friendly and skilled! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted kindly by the lady at registration. She quickly and efficiently got me through the process. The LPN and NP were calming and were well...
