Beautiful area, and great lookout. Currently the walking track is CLOSED until June 2023 and there is NO signage to advise of this until you have driven all the way, gotten prepared and then walked to the path where there is a fence closing the walking track off. We saw a lot of hikers walk to there only to turn around. The road in is a bit twisty, and a bit of water damage too, so our Hire car MG3 struggled a bit. Otherwise it is a beautiful area, the nicest, cleanest, fanciest parking picnic area I have seen at a national park before, the viewing platform was really good, and a nice view too. Definitely recommend whether you are doing the walk or not.

Hard to find there are no signs to help guide you. Take a map and hopefully you can also find it on your gps. Roads as you get closer get narrow and a very short section was rough dirt. Nice picnic area with good drop toilets. Short sealed path to the lookout is wheel chair accessible. Waterfall loop track closed because of land slip. The drive up is nice from the coast so take your time.

It is a beautiful fall but you should adjust the expectations if going just for the lookout. I enjoyed the drive (through Nightcap Range Rd) a lot more than this end point :) Most of the picnic area was closed and the best way to enjoy it was to go for the button if fall track which needs several hours and properly planning a full day.

This waterfall is a yearly tradition for me; taking in the negative ions, swimming at the base of the waterfall and letting the water splash down and cleanse you. I have a spiritual connection with this place, so when I saw this morning that it had reopened, I was over the moon. She still looks amazing as she ever was. Better luck next time, floods. To access the waterfall you have to go to Minyon Grass Picnic Area as that is the only available trail down to the base of the waterfall. Take some old shoes or some hiking boots because it is muddy on the trek towards the waterfall. Come here and enjoy what nature provides and open up your spiritual side. She listens.

Great little hike. Can get very slippery on the way to the water if been recently raining. Don't recommend wearing thongs like we did...

The facilities here are amazing, looks brand new with lots of places to have a picnic and brand new toilets. The only problem is the view of the falls isn’t that great. You are much better going to the grass area 1.6km away for the best view.

Great accessibility, beautiful view, nice new facilities. Didn't do the walk to the base as it started to rain but I've been told it's worth it.

Tables n chairs, carpark n Short walk to viewing deck. No water so no falls. 100m drop or so . Be good when falls in motion.

Best waterfall lookout I’ve ever been to. It’s a must see. A sheer , at least 70m drop.

Amazing waterfall! Visited just after heavy rains/during some light rains, so water flow was spectacular! I went on a walk to the base fall from the Grasslands picnic area. Was a bit tricky at the bottom to find the path through the rocks to get to the base, and due to the rain the rocks were incredibly slippery so didn’t go super close but still had a wonderful experience! Beware of the leeches by the rocks however haha!

Must visit place for nature enthusiasts. The falls are viewable from a platform and just meters from car park. The route is fine except for few places which may be worse if rains. If one has time , they can do walk down to the falls which is around 2 hrs return.

Beautiful spot. Easy parking and bathroom facilities around the corner. We came when the storm stopped so the falls were rushing! So high gave me jelly legs haha

A very pleasant trip up the mountain to the car park. Lots of parking in the two or three car parks. Several large picnic tables under cover. The toilet amenities are new and very clean. Short walk to and from the falls. Great short day trip or add the walks to fill in a complete day

Don't go there if you're scared of heights. Otherwise a beautiful place with a great view of the rainforest and the waterfall

It's always a pleasure to spend time at such a beautiful and enjoyable location with family and friends. It's a wonderful spot for woodland hikes and picnics with a beautiful waterfall located within the park.

we had difficulty finding our way going to the falls but eventually we found the way,a bit confusing according to my husband.Beautiful place and amazing falls...it feels surreal looking at the falls from the look out..we didn't go down to the bottom because the path was close .but the visit was enjoyable and memorable❤️

Good lookout, but the walkway down to the basin is closed. Also sadly it was dry when I was there, but thats just how it is I guess

Easy to access with great amenities. The walk to the bottom is closed at the moment due to landslip but you can do a beautiful walk starting just 5 min drive from here. Stop here the view and then head over to do the walk.

Stunning view of the falls from the platform, heaps of parking and good facilities. Whilst you are there do the Boggy Creek walk, it's simply and easy.

Wow what a glorious waterfall situated in the Nightcap Ranges of Northern NSW. The walk to the bottom of the falls via Minyon Grass is challenging but well worth the effort to experience the true magnificence of this place.

Great view and an amazing waterfall. Do this view then recommend doing the walk to the bottom of the falls from just down the road at Minyon Grass trail lookout. This walk is great with a good bit of Boulder scrambling for the last 5-10 minutes.

heaps of potholes, narrow road, plenty of parking spaces, amazing lookout, looked after amenities, perfect for a swim, heaps of walking tracks 🚫 there aren't any bins 🚮

Great Falls very nice spot. Needed more time to do the walk at the base. Still very lovely

Nice place to spend couple of hours. The road to falls is not that good so drive carefully.

Great views, nice bush walks near the river above the falls

We used the grass walking track and made it to fall itself. It was almost 8 km round trip with last 200 m of rocky trail but it was well worth it.
