The one star is for Dr. Johnson who was incredibly rude and brief. He told me my issue was not urgent and asked why I didnā€™t go see my regular doctor. He then told me it was a coincidence that I have been having pains, pops and issues in the shoulder I fell on really hard months ago. It started popping immediately after I fell and hasnā€™t stopped since. I guess thatā€™s a ā€œcoincidenceā€. I also called ahead before I walked-in and told them it was shoulder pain due to an old fall and the receptionist said, ā€œyeah we can see you for thatā€. He dismissed me within 4 minutes. I shouldā€™ve walked out when he asked me why I didnā€™t see my primary care provider. Waste of time and money. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Wouldnā€™t even recommend him to an enemy. I have been here before and so have my children and never been treated so poorly. I used to rave about this clinic, unfortunately one bad apple has ruined it all for me.

I would give this facility 6 stars if possible. Everyone was friendly, polite, and provided assistance from the moment they opened the door at 8am. When the staff member opened the door she could see I needed assistance and offered a wheelchair which I gratefully accepted. She took me right back to an exam room. I felt better almost immediately and knew I was in good hands. I've always had great service at this facility that I have utilized for decades. When my visit concluded they escorted me to my vehicle in a a wheelchair! I'm thankful that this facility continues to provide outstanding care on which everyone can rely. Thanks Unity Point Express staff!

Dr Johnson does NOT listen to patient whey they give a history and does NOT check patients history. He just goes based off of how quickly he can get you in and out of the office. This is the second time we have had this issue with this dr. The first time he missed the fracture in my daughters wrist and we are waiting for to have an xray at an OSF facility to see if he missed a fracture for the second time. We went in for an xray of her wrist as and they refused to do one at this location. Very disappointed in this office and their providers lack of medical professionalism. Will never be returning to this facility. I now understand why all OSF Prompt Care locations have long waits and there are virtually no wait at this clinic as people do not want to use substandard care they offer.

My girlfriend went here with obvious signs of an upper respiratory infection. They checked her for influenza type 1+2, and Covid-19. From there they basically told her to take Zertec and Flonase, both of which are over the counter allergy medications. Sent her home with no antibiotics. Didnā€™t check her throat or nose or anything a doctor should do when you have a sick patient. Do better! Youā€™re supposed to be doctors, and not send people back home to get better without medications that help. I strongly recommend people go elsewhere

Unfortunately we have had 2 sick children for over 6 weeks now. We made 2 visits to this clinic one month apart and each time were told that it's virus season and that it would self resolve any day now. My wife made an appointment with a pediatrician who pretty quickly identified a double ear infection and one with bronchiolitis. 4 days into the strong antibiotics/inhaler and it finally feels like we have our kids back. This clinic is incredibly efficient and organized, but heartbreaking to see quality of care lacking pretty substantially on both visits.

My son was seen because after having been sick and improving, he ended up getting a fever and chest tightness/wheezing. Unfortunately my son has a long history of pneumonia after having flu. The provider insisted that he probably just had the flu because she didnā€™t believe my reporting that he had it two weeks prior (my daughter had a positive test and he got sick with the same symptoms two days later). She actually told me to ā€œstop talking and let her talkā€ while I was explaining his history and trying to defend the fact that he had the flu. So I just let her do her thing and took him to a competent provider the next day. His flu and Covid tests were negative as I figured they would be. She lacked both common sense and respect and would probably be better suited in a career that didnā€™t involve talking to people. Express care in this location has largely been a waste of money for us because I believe they would diagnose broken ankle as ā€œjust a virus.ā€

I never made it past Stephanie at the front desk. She maintains that I have no insurance. I had to call HR and my insurance company to prove that I am insured. The insurance company told her step-by-step what to do in order to verify my coverage, and she refused to simply call the number I provided her to talk to someone to verify it.

I have had 2 visits there recently. Both times super quick and thorough. I saw a MD there I forget the name and a PA named Tiffany. She managed a complex follow up situation and I am very satisfied.

I have ALWAYS used unity point urgent care... Iwent to the one on War Memorial and Prospect and was told I could not be seen because the provider was done taking patient for the day at 430 PM... the lady at the desk sends me to this location... got here for severe back pain and was told I could not be seen because my primary care provider is through OSF... This is ridiculous... if I could I would give 0 stars

My daughter went there today and tested positive for covid. Dr sent her home and told her to take Tylenol. Worthless Dr here. Should not be practicing medicine.

I was really happy with our visit today. I had a very sick 2-year-old. They got me in and out quickly, and the staff was very friendly.... The front desk ladies were kind, and quick, knowing that I had a grumpy toddler. I appreciated that they made those in the waiting room wear face masks if they were coughing.... Many places don't follow those rules, but they told the patients to wear them to protect others and themselves. The nurses were great, and never left us in the exam room alone. We always had someone, which was appreciated. And the Physicians Assistant, Katie, came in promptly and was very good with my toddler. She was knowledgeable and friendly, and very quick (knowing that my daughter wouldn't last too long in the exam room). She even came back out to the checkout after she ordered my daughter a Rx and made sure that I understood everything. Wonderful staff. I will definitely be going back.

My primary's office didn't have any openings for a while, so I made an appointment here. I received thorough and efficient care. The receptionist was busy when I arrived, so Kiera took me to a room and verified my reason for visiting and medical information, along with vitals. Deb Collins, PA asked good questions to learn more about my situation, explained what may be causing my symptoms and her plan for treating. Both were very kind. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Would definitely visit again.

Both visits girl at the desk was nice just asked my name didn't say how much the visit would be knowing I don't have insurance. Went for an allergic reaction literally 5 -10 mins Tiffany prescribed 5 days of Prednisone. Took longer checking BP & weighing in lbs. So Predisone didn't work so I went back since I usually go to a prompt care. Seen John whom said he's never seen this type of eczema ...dyshrotic eczema. Again gave me Predisone but for longer days and stronger since it was really bad at this point along with antibiotics. You would think since I've been previously for the same thing years ago they would have access to that info. Any ways John said if this didn't work I need to seek a PCP or dermatologist because they can't keep giving me Predisone when that's not what I asked for in the first place. Granted it did go away but think it could of been resolved if treated properly the first visit now I ended up with 2 bills for $175.00 each. Now I don't remember the out of pocket pay being that expensive at a prompt care more than a specialist visit smh. Lesson learned I won't be returning but exact reason it's hard to find a good PCP because they don't listen when you know your body better than anyone.

Went a got a covid test on Thursday. Was told I would have results within 72 hours. Was told regardless of what the results were, I would have gotten a call within 72 hours. Never received a call. Called 4 days later and was told the results from the test were not back from the lab. Still didnā€™t get an answer from prompt care about why I didnā€™t receive a call back. The one I was told I would get. Regardless. Luckily I had purchased covid tests from Walgreens, found out I was positive. Glad it was someone elseā€™s fault.
