I made reservations 2 months before our stay. Because it said that we needed to get there before 6pm, I contacted the owner to ensure that someone would be there for us because we were going to get there after 6pm. I called them, left them messages, emailed them, texted them and no answer. I ended up calling the chamber of commerce who got in touch with them and then finally they responded. So I was relieved. A couple of days before our arrival, the hostess contacted us to give us instructions on what to do after our arrival past 6pm. We got there at 6:30pm and everything was in great order. Clean room, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and beautiful place. Even the outdoor chairs and hammocks were clean from bird stuff and fruits from the trees. Very clean. Walking distance from downtown (1.5 miles) So we got our exercise. Everything was exceptional. The hostess was available through text so it was almost self service but with NO problems at all. They only thing we didn’t like was that the walls were too thin and could hear entire conversations from next door and upstairs. Would stay there again.

What a great property, close to all and a bit out of the hustle-bustle. Arriving and entering is much like coming back to an old friend’s place, but even better. Great room and super comfortable bed, there were two but one was enough. Very charming room and the Magnolia Room has more than enough room for two couples, without being underfoot of each other. We will definitely will be back!

Beautiful experience! We stayed in the Gardenia room. Two rooms, kitchen one bath. The beds were out of this world comfortable. Nice ACs! Extremely clean. High recommendation, will stay again.

The cutest bed and breakfast. This venue absolutely exceeded our expectations. It was cute, clean, and absolutely a gem. It is super close to downtown, offers several outdoor areas to enjoy your vacation, and the house feels like you're living on an estate mansion. Oof the cutest!

A bit out of downtown, still not far at all. I’m a quiet little wooded area The Estate is very comforting and relaxing. We had a lovely suite and only used a portion, but could see staying a while with a group to take advantage of all they had to offer.

Kim and her husband were wonderful hosts, the breakfast was delicious! The house has a lot of history and ambiance. The rooms were very clean. We went as a group of 8 (4 couples, friends since grade school). Mt. Dora is a beautiful little town and we enjoyed our stay at this bed and breakfast. We definitely recommend Farnsworth House! Thank you Kim for the great hospitality! Mirta and Phil De La Torre

The host were very sweet and accommodating. Our room was very nice and the breakfast was wonderful! We felt so at home! This place is about 5 blocks from downtown. It's a sweet little historic place and super relaxing! We will definitely return.

We have already had an amazing experience with the new owners of the Heirloom Estate and we haven’t even stayed here! Our sis and bro-in-law stayed this past weekend for their ten year wedding anniversary. The new owners went out of their way to help us to have champagne on ice and chocolates waiting in the room upon arrival. It was a great surprise and a huge hit! So while we haven’t stayed here yet, we definitely will! Thank you again to the new Heirloom Estate owners for your help in making a special day even more special!

🫤 Towels were clean. No place to hang clothes at all. Needs repainted real soon. Floors were all tile. Dirt built up in corners. We were visiting relatives last minute and needed lodging. This place was the last choice left due to the Daytona 500 running this weekend. you know inflation has hit when a...
