My daughter and I have been a part of Gracie Owensboro for a little more than four years now. I can’t begin to recommend the services they provide enough. Whether your goal be self defense, better physical fitness, self esteem boost, pursuit of discipline, or all of the above, your goals can be met all in one room. I can be a very particular about who I let my teach/train my kids in anything, so after a short period of time training by myself I knew this would also be the perfect place for my daughter, and I trust them with her as if they were my family. With all that said don’t hesitate because if you do eventually you will regret doing so.

My 9yr old has taken 6 weeks worth of classes and is enjoying most of the classes. The instructors do a great job of making the students earn there stripes through actually learning the skill or hold and using them in class sessions. That is one of the biggest values I appreciate about the instructors at Gracie JJ, you actually have to work for advancement, it’s not just handed to the student. My 9yr old is slowly figuring that out, great life lesson. Thanks guys

I've been training at Gracie Owensboro for close to 3 years. A lot of the same people are still there and I have had the pleasure of gaining real friendships. We have a common goal of just trying to be better then we were the day before. My son is 10 and also has the pleasure of training. He enjoys learning to defend himself while making new friends. The academy is growing and it has been good to see in just a few short years the progress that it's made. The coaches are outstanding and are providing world class instruction from world class athletes. I definitely recommend coming in and trying it out. We are all down to earth. Josh and his team at Gracie Owensboro have been absolutely amazing to my son who does Jiu Jitsu there. The classes have taught him so much not only physically but mentally as well. We have seen so much growth in my sons confidence and desire to push through even when things get hard. Josh genuinely cares about every kid who enters that gym regardless of their skill level and is able to meet them where they are at and help them grow!

These guys are truly amazing. My son started in the 5-7 year old class. The patience, kindness, and leadership of the instructors is top notch. First class training. Coach Josh, Drake, Adrian are incredible at what they do. Not to mention the skill level and experience the coaches bring to the mat. It’s a blessing to the community to have this caliber of school in a small town. Couldn’t be more happy with the overall experience. 10/10 Highly recommend.

Purple belt Visiting from Chattanooga. My brother trains at this facility. Came in for open Mat. Clean facility with lots of mat space. Everyone I met was kind and welcoming. Good rolls with people that aren’t trying to hurt you or prove something, yet competitive. Will definitely be coming back next time I visit my brother.

This place deserves a 12/10 for communication. Their emails are spot on and their ability to connect with families is exemplary! I am so glad we found Gracie and I am proud of the growth I already see in my son. The other day he was being lazy when doing his exercises. Coach Josh knew he could do better and said "when you cheat on your exercises, you're not cheating me, you're cheating yourself". Right before bed that night, my son mentioned what he said and prayed about it. Josh coaches the whole child and I appreciate him for that. Thank you for all you do for our kids.

I got to train at Gracie for a very short time. I was just getting started when Covid kicked off. The instructors, and students at Gracie were so patient and absolutely awesome to work with. I am hoping to come back in one day and start fresh with my learning!

Our 3 children attend beginner’s class. I admire the encouragement of discipline, respect, values along with the exercise and technique development. The environment is family-like and kids are all encouraged to be their personal best.
