Always love this place. I typically get the wings. The service is awesome. It’s a smaller establishment, so expect it to be packed!

This is a really cool place inside. Other reviews tell about the decor so I'll talk about my lunch. Ordered a meatloaf sandwich and a cup of chili plus a Coke. Big portion of meatloaf which might have been better if it wasn't served like a fish sandwich - on rye with lettuce and mayo. I wasn't crazy about the meatloaf although another guy on the crew really liked it, but I think it would be better on the plate with gravy and mashed potatoes like he ordered it. Chili was pretty decent. I think it might have been better without the slight "heat". But it still wasn't bad. All in all a decent lunch after I got rid of the lettuce and mayo on the sandwich. I think I'll get a burger next visit.

It's just really good bar food. Local, no frill place. The price was very reasonable. I had the Cajun burger. My wife had chicken tenders and tots. Directions for getting to the parking lot are weak but worth getting in there.

Got the open face roast beef. I call it a beef Manhattan. On point totally satisfying. Very quaint place. If I lived closer I'd be here all the time. Great find.

My first time here, came for the liver and onions. Absolutely delicious! Mashed potatoes and gravy just as good. Best liver I've ever had from a restaurant. All I added was my hot sauce. Staff was friendly and courteous. Thumbs up Friendly Stop!

A great stop to get away from daily hassles for good down home cooking. Their meat loaf ito-die-for is unbeatable

Don't get here often but always a pleasant whn I do. Pretty much a vegan but I can't deny the meatloaf -- like mom used to make.

Awesome hamburgers!!! Very small and simple, which is what they're known for, but the friendliest staff in town, which they're also known for!! Highly recommend! Very cozy!!!

Really, they are friendly, Bar would do anything you ask for. Best ever wings and onion rings. Is really like pretty in a old fashion way we loved it!.

Even when the place is packed, the staff has always tried to be helpful. They are great people. One of only a couple places I'll go specifically for a burger and a beer.

Loved the charm and ambiance of a Mom & Pop small restaurant. Prices are a little high considering portion size and flavor. I ordered a chef salad and was hugely disappointed in both. I'd say it's more of a watering hole where you can happily grab a few beers and hang than a restaurant destination.

Very nice staff. The food is delicious and one of their cooks(he's the afro dude) is a cool man who has respect for the food and customers 😁 I come here once a week and let me tell ya the meatloaf is amazing!!!

Food is always good. Service and atmosphere is great! Family owned and it shows. If you want to go to a place that isn't trying to be trendy or appear to be "fancy", this local spot is for you!

Tried to call in an order for carry out. The "gentleman" who answered the phone was NOT friendly. I've had their food before and it's good - but not good enough to be spoken down when calling in a $100 order. Will never go back and I suggest changing the name of the restaurant to something more accurate.

Won't take much time to write a review...but I had time to stop at this awesome bar and need to tell someone or ig everyone about it. The food was great I had the tenders which better than canes they are known for. And service so sweet and ppl laughing the whole time. Loved hope to be in town again.

Cozy little spot with a great locals atmosphere. Great burger and wings!

Simple home cooked food. Nothing too fancy but it was good. I had the meatloaf, it wasn't as good as Mom's but what is? I do appreciate that they make all their food on site. Nothing was frozen and thrown into a fryer.

Pleasant staff, a lot of menu options, and most of all a friendly corner bar making Friendly Stop a perfect name. And I can't pass by giving praise for the Garlic Burger!
