We just moved to the United States and are looking for good dance courses near my house in Redmond. I had heard a few good things about Lavida Dance School, and we didn't know where to start, so I dialed the number I found on the internet. It was well welcomed in terms of their internal program, and a Demo class visit was asked to understand more. Finally, we went to Demo class and met with Alexandra; she is wonderful, and we didn't witness her repeating the same assignment over and over, but we did note her love for teaching dance to her students. This is fantastic, and after the session, she approached my daughter and provided feedback on her performance as well as recommendations for future courses for her. She didn't stop there; she spoke with the Lavida producers and suggested that "Teams" be formed to assist my daughter in progressing to the next level and performing in major places. We highly recommend "Lavida Dance School" and wish you and your team the best of luck in your future endeavors.

My daughter recently started taking hip-hop classes in LaVida. She thinks very highly of her dance instructor, Alexandra, and appreciates how structured the lessons are. As a parent, I would like to comment on how attentive and helpful everyone at the front desk is. They do their best to create warm and positive atmosphere for all the dancers and their family members. Included with this review is a snapshot from the page of the dance journal that every member gets. The rules are listed with explanations and examples, which makes it easier to understand and follow; and hopefully to apply outside of the studio as well.

They have a free trial class which is awesome, give you a chance to see how your kid does an make a decisionif you are going to sign up or not. My daughter is 3 and she had a blast. She came out after her first call already saying she can't wait to do it again. I had a great experience. Dance teacher was welcoming. Introduced herself before class and spoke with us after letting us know how it went. The parents have to wait outside the room and there is only a little door window to peek in. The only thing I wish was that they had a bigger window for us to be able to see better. Like a two way mirror. Kids would get to distracted if they could see their parents.

My 4 y o daughter has just enrolled into twinkle stars program after the trial lesson. She loved the teacher and dancing. All children are always occupied and there are group exercises for example when they dance together in a circle which my daughter loves. The tutu costume is the additional benefit. If we had enough time we would add the second class a week.

LaVida has always been my go to dance studio! As a single lady, I started with Tango and it was so much fun! Then, when I met my husband, Natasha choreographed a beautiful wedding dance for us! Now, our daughter is starting dance there and she absolutely loves it!

My daughter loved her time at LaVida's circus camp! From the final performance for parents, I could see the "clown" teacher was a hit with the kids! A counselor was on the side to help manage the class. My daughter had a conflict with another camper this week, and the admin team and counselors swiftly came on board to handle the issue. Really appreciate it!

If I could select 0 as a rating I would. This studio is a joke. My daughter has been enrolled throughout the summer and they have cancelled 3 of her classes due to staffing issues. We received NO call ahead of time to warn us not to waste our time traveling to the studio. When we asked for our money back they ignored us and told us we could just "make up" the class. We are busy parents and the only class that works for our schedule is the class we are signed up for. This place should be reported for theft. DO NOT take your children here they will steal your money and not provide services. Shame on you LaVida

We went for our free trial session, the dance instructor (Sasha) was so amazing. She was happy, very upbeat, positive, very talented and so awesome with the students. We were so pleased we signed up our daughter for lessons.
