On paris metro you may get robbed, in Bangkok you may lose your phone but in Ghent at Fetch you’ll definitely get scammed. €26 for two Waffles that she recommended. Absolutely ridiculous, it’s a shame it was too late as she already served us but Honeslty biggest scammers in town. I repeat to show i am sane and it really happened. €26 for two takeaway waffles.

Honestly i had a horrible experience. Firstly the waiters weren't friendly and kind and the fun fact is that in their t-shirt there is a beautiful sentence "be really kind, we are students". The students that are working here are really rude. We asked for a "Liège waffle" and the waiter gave us a half of a Brussels waffle. Another thing that made me a bit disappointed is that i asked for a "pancake with dark chocolate" and i received crepes. Anyway after we asked for tissues (because we had to ask for cutlery) and the waiter got even angry/nervous. I don't really suggest this place. Another thing is that the waiters weren't wearing masks. This is very unacceptable during a global pandemic. NB: while my experience at the bar pushes me to vote 0 star, I'm obliged to put one.

They are literally scammers. Before we went in, we asked the price of the waffle and they said 3 euros and that's why we went in. But as you see we paid 12 euros for one waffle. and it was no special at all. Please dont prefer this place no matter what. We spent amazing days in Ghent but this experience that we had was a total dissapointment. They are not nice people, you can feel it the way they behave.

Randomly walked into this café as were were tired after walking around in Ghent Korenmarkt area. The staff (only 1 staff was working) is not friendly and kept us all waiting in the café for more than 10 minutes (we were the only sit in customer in the whole café (looked at the pic how empty it was). Understand she may be serving those take away customers (from the outside kiosk) but there is no queue all, she should be able to come in to take our order in a short while. We were upset by the way she treated tourist like us this way. We ordered a few waffles and the taste is just average (for noting, the price is much higher if you dine in compared to take away). Will not revisit this café if we come to Ghent again

Our first visit to Gent became more memorable as we indulged in the delicious Waffles at Fetch. Was indeed a sweet treat😊 The customer service was very good too. Highly recommend!

Avoid this place, we came and had to wait very long. The manager wasnt any better if i had the chance to film the scene i would, because he was screaming to his workers he was very rude and he was cursing, he even wanted too hit one of the workers. I feel really bad for the workers! You could really see the pain in the eyes. We orderd churros and ther were not good at all, they were not well done. One of the workers was send home only because he gave us an wrong order. So please avoid this place.

I would not even give a star to this place... The waffle wasn't bad but was ridiculously expensive for a waffle... And the owner of the place has been the rudest person I've ever met. We paid for the waffles with no problem besides the price and then we asked her (kindly... I mean it, we were polite to her) to please change some coins for us and she even didn't reply to our face, she just said: "I am the owner and I am not working" and she just walked away... with such a high-handed attitude... I would never recommend anyone to go to this place, it really damaged a beautiful day of experiences in Ghent with such an ugly way to be treated... I live in Belgium for a few years already and I took my friends there to show how nice Ghent was and after that, I was just so embarrassed to take them to a place where apart of having to pay a ridiculous amount of money for something so simple also were treated so badly. In Ghent, there are way nicer places to go, where people are super kind... Don't waste your money going to this place...

Had the Belgium Waffle with strawberries and Nutella chocolate with a cappuccino! Waffle was light and crisp with generous serving of strawberries. Unfortunately was too hungry to take a picture. Server was courteous.

Honestly if there was a way to give this place 0 stars I would have done it. There were no prices written so we asked the man that was working there how much a pancake costs, he mumbled something that you wouldn't ask how much a ferrari costs. We told him that we were students. 5€ he said for pancake with chocolate and banana. After he charged us 10€ per person!!! The pancakes and waffles were reheated, so they don't even make them fresh! Rude and not good pancakes. I hope this place closes down soon!

If I could give less stars, I would. 10 euros for a waffle and you HAD to take fruit with it. Prices aren't listed at the place, feels like a scam.

This place is very bad, starting with the waiter who lied about the price. He said 5 euros for the waffles with the toppings and at the end he charged 10. The waffles were terrible, I could eat better if I would would heat the ones from Albert Heijn. Avoid this place at all cost, it’s a rip-off.

Would have put zero star if that was an option. Total rip off. Don't expect to get your orders right here. Can easily fool you by giving you the wrong food and charge you for that.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I arrived there and waited quite a long while to get served but alright, it takes a while to heat up a waffle. I live close so I know it’s usually 2 or 3 euros for a waffle but when the lady said “4 euros please” I was taken aback for a second and I reacted in the sense of “wow 4 euros already, everything has gone up quite a lot in price hasn’t it.” And she responded to me: “Can you please not act so ridiculously for 4 euros”. I was flabbergasted. Wow worst customer service ever, I waited gladly and I would have gladly paid the 4 euros for a stupid waffle with nothing on, but not after she reacted like that. Beware tourists, there are much nicer and friendlier places very closeby.

Scam! don't come here. 18EUR for sad pasta dish (look just like microwave version) 8EUR for hot chocolate (I asked the lady in front of the shop for the price but they charge double the price)

The woman with manager tshirt was really rude. Also, there was no soap in the toilet. Eventhough I asked them for refilling the soap, they suggested me to wash my hands with only water instead😅 How can I eat something from this place with no hygine provided.

Extremely rude owners/ waiters. Two old men work and can't take an order right. Fooling tourist by pretending to be confused. Ordered one waffle and they delivered two and made fun of my country on top of it whilst me and my husband were explaining to them politely that they took our order wrong. Also i would judge a country by how they treat their guests! Worst people.

When we entered we were told ‘pick any table’ but were then confronted by another staff member to sit somewhere else in a rather aggressive tone. Then when we ordered and didn’t ask for extra fruit we got incredibly rude looks and were treated like animals, later when we ordered drinks it took them 20 minutes to bring 2 waters and a tea after asking 4 times. Finally I would like to add that the staff members were genuinely rude and were just talking about whatever with each other in another language instead of bringing paying customers foods. Pancakes and waffles were fine.

I have been coming to this place for years, the waffles are incredibly light and tasty. The prices are relevant and if you want quality then it’s the right place to come.
