This hotel should not be in business. While booking online, you come across guidance that this location is “brand new” and the photos appear to be that of a brand new hotel. Having no prior knowledge of the location or area, I would assume that most customers are deceived just as I was. When you arrive, the wool is abruptly pulled from your eyes, as you approach a derelict building that looks as though it was built in the 60s/70s. Outside, there are mouse traps near the building and old, tattered mattresses in the dumpster. The lobby is pristine and the customer service was decent enough. Once you make the trek to your room, which is a bonafide maze, I came to a room that smelled like mildew and had a number of gashes and marks on the walls. The surfaces within the room were visibly unclean, and the “mud room” area had a number of stains on the fabric seat. The bathroom was also quite filthy as none of the surfaces appeared to be clean and the toiletries looked half used. After driving 5+ hours, I could not even fix my mouth to complain as I was exhausted. The next morning, Housekeeping wakes you up with knocks to the door and proceeds to knock every two hours. If checkout is at noon, DO NOT have your housekeeping staff to harass patrons in their attempt to start “cleaning” rooms. I cannot help but to feel cheated after spending $150 on a room that does not meet baseline standards of cleanliness. I could have gone to my usual hotels at the Omni in Frisco or at the Delta in Southlake for around the same price. I will be complaining to corporate.

Looking for a secondary hotel to stay at while in the DFW area. This one came to attention due to the low pricing and the location of the hotel to where I needed to go. Upon arrival, I was greeted via text messages. Getting to the hotel, I was greeted by staff and offered a warm cookie!! The lobby was very nice and felt like you were at a luxury hotel. The restaurant was to the immediate left of the lobby. There was plenty of seating in the lobby to hang out. The way to the elevator was like a maze and there was a smell/stinch that smelled weird. I could not put what it smelled like, but there was definitely a weird funky smell on the first floor. Finally getting to my floor and my room, the room was rather clean and everything organized. The ac unit did appear to be damaged but I did forget to report it. As I was getting ready to shower, it turned out my shower was clogged, who knows how long this had been going on! I immediately called the front desk and I was told no one was available to help, so I went without a shower the first night. The following day, the clog was not resolved so I told the front desk again. Upon arriving back to my room after work, turned the shower on, and it was still clogged. Said the hell with it and took showers the rest of the week. Had a pool in the shower by the time I finished. (This never got resolved during my stay). One huge issue I had aside from the shower, was the restroom sink! The faucet is so close to the counter space washing your hands is a hassle. You will get so much water on the counter space due to how close the faucet is. I have taken photos to show you just what I mean! I did try the restaurant which the prices were well done. The alcohol drinks I ordered, let’s say they hooked you up, well at least with me they did!! The burger I had was juicy and had a ton of flavor! The fires were also delicious!! Overall the hotel is close by to a freeway which you will hear the zooming cars around 430-5am. The beds are ok, I did have trouble sleeping not sure if it was due to my sleep apnea or the bed. The pillows, unlike majority of the hotels I have stayed at, are regular sized and there were 4 available. There is parking which you are charged $10 a night, I was not sure if this is even mentioned on the booking site.

Nice clean room, very nice lobby and common areas. Antonio J at the front desk was very pleasant and accommodating. They even offered a complimentary cookie before sending me off to the room.

In May 2023 Doubletree took over this property. Staff were very friendly. For example they switched me to a room with two queen sized beds, no problem. The room was clean and air conditioned. Pool and restaurant were fine. This is a conference center so there are large spaces for gathering. Elevators are in an odd location. Parking is fine. Nothing to do in the immediate area, but you're a quick drive to Ft. Worth. Reasonably priced.

Very impressive on this Doubletree Hotel. Looks newly remodeled, clean, spacious and easy to find. Friendly staff and good service. Bar and restaurant on site. You pay for the convenience. Heads up to all dining staff. But one shout out needs to go to Miss Victoria. On her toes big time. Excellent attitude, friendly smile,attentive and most of all patient. She handled difficult, complaining, entitled people Very well. Food was good. Service Excellent. $22. For breakfast buffet. Our stay comes with breakfast 😋. But pay attention to your bill. The check out system isn't set up yet. So they charge you on your bill. This particular stay they charged my card. The explanation was noted as system error. Made a call to front desk. Marie apologized and said she would take care of it. The warm cookies were amazing. We appreciated the waters. Very hot outside. Swimming pool was indoors. Very small pool. Normal size hot tub. Both were filled with screaming, loud,splashing kids. We didn't bother going on. Dissatisfied we couldn't do so. One elevator was broken during our stay. Wait for the other elevator was a tad bit longer. Not bad. Depending where you parked. The walk to your rooms could be lengthy. Overall stay was great. We would stay here again.

Had an amazing time at a convention held here! Rooms were beautiful and comfortable, service was absolutely fantastic and food was tasty. I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a quote stay or for a convention!

Me and my sister and dad stayed here for two nights and everything was great When we first walked in it's clean and beautiful and the guy who checked us in was great he welcome us with a smile and a warm cook by the way that are delicious!! I will stay here again on my next visit..

Walking in the hotel is super nice with a bar that stays open until 11pm I think saily and later on the weekends I’m assuming. Check in was quick and easy. My manager had an issue with her original room and they accommodated her right away! The rooms are decent

I am so happy with this hotel and restaurant. We will be going again just to go eat at the restaurant alone! Victoria and Andres were the best servers I have ever had ANYWHERE. They were very kind, curtious, and responsive.There food was delicious. Definitely a five star experiance.

The location is very convenient and well priced. Parking is good. The rooms can be loud from the traffic noise. Reception staff was friendly despite being clearly exhausted. Building layout makes it a bit of a walk from reception to rooms. Multiple doors that go out to park, so if you don’t need to go back to the reception area, this is not a big issue.

I love this conversion and I wish DoubleTree nothing but success. The restaurant has a menu with wide variety & bar. The staff is friendly and the renovation was done beautifully. Please keep up the good work, we need this brand & hotel stay right where it is.

What a great stay! Everything was fresh, clean, and felt so new. Book an extra day just to enjoy the amenities!

Had my wedding reception here and it was MAGICAL! They did such an amazing job setting up. I had about 50 guests stay the night and they had a wonderful experience. The service was excellent. The rooms are extremely clean. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious. Front desk is SO nice. Thank you to everyone who works here!

Antonio was AMAZING. He was the best part about the hotel. He was kind and so helpful. He went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. The lobby area is GORGEOUS. A little plus is that they have cute Christmas decor.

We just had our wedding at the hotel this past weekend and everything was amazing! Francisco did a fantastic job decorating the ballroom for our reception! The rooms were very clean and nice and all the wait staff were incredibly nice and efficient.
