Was hesitant to use this location but I was in severe pain with an infected throat. Doctor looked at my throat and treated me for bronchitis. Which is fine but I wish he had ordered blood work so I knew what was actually wrong. He was kind though. I ordered separate bloodwork for a different issue. The lady who took my blood gave up after trying each of my veins once and said “I could try again but I don’t like doing that.” (after talking with her about how her and her whole family have been in the medical field for years) and sent me to Quest with no paperwork or checking me out. Quest was closed because of Memorial Day. The next day the Quest tech told me I have ideal veins and had no problem, which is accurate as I’ve never had a problem with my veins my whole life. I watched my results upload online and had to call THEM to get them to explain them to me two separate time. And now two weeks later just called to let me know my test results are online….. Pretty big waste of my time and caused a lot of distress. Unorganized and not thorough. People need URGENT care and guidance when they are sick or in pain. Unfortunately we have to advocate for ourselves. The front desk lady was VERY very nice though on the first day. Wish she was the care provider. Wish I knew their names.

AMAZING! Explained everything that had to be done. And all the time I had to move something she always made sure that she was not hurting me! This has to be THE BEST CARE NOW EVER! Loved it!

Horrible decision making by the doctor. Came in with flu symptoms and 102 fever. Doctor prescribed an antihistamine for my cough and sent me on my way. 3 days later I still feel horrible. Went to my doctor and got a medication that actually helped. Don’t waste your money on this place.

I entered the facility with a wound above my left eye. I was immediately taken to the back for assessment and treatment. I would like to thank Lisa Zimmerer, NP, for the great care I received. And thank you to the staff for making the whole experience fast and easy.

The Ft. Worth CareNow location was really efficient and the staff was extremely friendly. Although I did have to wait a while once I arrived, I noticed that each patient was greeted when they came in, and then told goodbye as they were leaving. Every staff member that helped me was friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

The doctor was very kind hearted but I’m upset because prior to going here for treatment I specifically asked if they could test and treat me for an sti, or d I need go go to the heath department, but they said yes with no problem . I spent every dime I had to get treatment there it’s for them to take my money, knowing it was my last then tell me their no allowed to treat Sti’s and then sent me to quest for lab work knowing I would be charged another hundred plus dollars that I didn’t have this has cause so much added stress to give my last bro nothing to be done. I will never go there again I feel so ripped off

I had a very positive experience. I want to thank Kara NP and Care Now for giving me excellent treatment today for this respiratory illness I’ve had for the last 7 days. Kara is very professional and definitely knew my diagnosis when it was missed 6 days ago by another practitioner down the street. I already feel better and I’m breathing much easier! The lady at the front desk was also very friendly and caring esp after dealing with me when I’m sick! All the staff there today were awesome! Thank you all so much! God Bless! 😊

I did the online check in at 4:30 in the afternoon and noted that I was 130 minutes away. I had two employees call me telling me to come in immediately and that there would still be a 3 hour wait at 5 pm and at 6 pm. They seemed like they wanted me to cancel. When arriving at 6:30 pm they immediately asked for money before even seeing a doctor. At 8 pm they took me to a room and took my blood pressure. I didn't see a doctor until I waited an hour and a half in the room. I didn't understand why they asked me to come in so early if all I did was still wait. I thought the whole point of the online check in was for us to wait at the house until a doctor was ready. This is the third time this has happen at this location. Did they ask for money immediately so that people have to wait the extended time that this location. I could have got faster service going to the emergency room. This is not "CareNow", it's "CareLater, Not so Urgent Care".

Please unless you are actually fixing to die and have no other option do not go here! USE AS LAST RESORT ONLY. Took about 6 hours to get out of here. The young lady who took my blood pressure was nice but doctor wasn’t.

The staff at the CareNow Clinic on McCart was amazing! They were very patient and attentive! They also took time to apologize for the wait, even though I was at fault for showing up a little too early for my appointment! Overall excellent care and service!

I had checked in first in the morning at 9 am. They said it was 9 hours late and they would call when my turn comes. They called at 7:15pm this evening and I had severe stomach pain at that time. The nurses’ aid took all the vitals that she needed to and left me in the room. It was more than an hour and a half I was not attended by anyone. Thinking I was forgotten i went to nurses station and asked if I was forgotten. She said no. Again, I had to spend another 45 minutes for a nurse practitioner to come and see me. I told her the story and she was a lady of few words. When asked the reason for stomach pain, the nurse practitioner said, “there could be many reasons, including your stomach may be angry at you” Anyways, she said she was giving me some medication that would calm. Unfortunately, the medication was the worst kind I had ever had. After coming home I ate a little food and went to rest. The pain became worse and I could not sleep. The nurse practitioner had told me If my pain increases I have to go to ER. I’m very upset about the time wasted and not properly diagnosing the problem. At the ER the doctors told me there could have been CT scan done at Care now and that could have saved some complications. It was the negligence of the nurse practitioner not to let me have the proper diagnosis. By the time they let me go it was 11 pm. Not right. Lives matters. “A stitch in time can save nine. “

This place is Ridiculous!!!! Go in on yesterday to be seen and was told it would be a three hour wait. Inquire about doing an appointment -was told by receptionist not able to do at this location, she recommended to be at office before it opens in morning. Done just that!!! Now, when I get there I’m told I have to do appointment on line!!!! ???! Like WHAT !!!! Done it anyway… now after two hours I ask about how much longer to wait, now I’m told that previous patients are been seen based on appointment set online… this is insane. The staff needs to be better informed on the correct procedures. Still didn’t get seen and time wasted…

The wait time was good, not waiting very long. When I got placed into a room for treatment and explained what I was needing she asked questions but did no examine. Then I told her about my history with what was going on, didn't listen. She asked me to swab my mouth & I asked to be examined by her. Never examined my ears, throat or stomach. The visit took place on a Thursday and today is Sunday. Am still in pain with no answer from the clinic or medication. Called yesterday day but no one could help. I will not come to this clinic again.

Web check-in was easy. Wait to be seen wasn't long. The nurse was professional and made sure that I was feeling well enough to leave. Dr. Haydon was professional and listened to my concerns and explored all options available to get me feeling better.

The staff here were welcoming and efficient. They acted like they cared about "why" we were there. We got back in to see the doctor in record time. My nephew was taken into the back in a wheelchair that was brought for him because he was hobbling. It was a very satisfactory experience and deserve a 5 star.

Checked in online, was updated regularly on the wait time. Got to the location when they were ready and was seen in less then 30 mins. It was great! I would definitely go again.

I'm a Veteran and I was given this location from my VA in Fort Worth. It was a really great experience. I was able to check in online, they called me when it was my turn to go in, the reception staff was great and checked me in quickly. It helps when you can fill out all the paperwork online. Makayla, LVN, called me back and took my vitals. She was very nice and professional. I was seen by Dr. David Laughlin, also very nice and professional. I liked that he came in, introduced himself, shook my hand and looked me straight in the eyes. We, the older generation, appreciate that. All in all, it was a great experience and I will definitely go back if I ever need to.

Fast, professional, and caring. I needed multiple tests performed to find out what was wrong. Lab, and nurse were kind. My provider NP Fenceroy was very knowledgeable and empathetic. I would definitely recommend this clinic!

I have been to this CareNow location a few times in the past 4 months and I've also taken my daughter. I'm very happy every time we are seen by Dr. Holloway. She's very knowledgeable and truly cares for her patients.

  • 5/5 Amanda L. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing staff! These people are so friendly, and very polite! Was in and out of there in about 2 hrs (it was a busy morning, was 5 or 6 people in front of me). Make sure you check in online, it makes it a lot easier, otherwise you'll have to when you get in. After going to some very bad Urgent Cares, this one was a breath of fresh air.

The staff here are so kind and caring. There are other facilities closer to my home but I choose this one every time because they truly care about their patients. They never rush the visit, they listen and are compassionate. It’s such a relief and so refreshing when you don’t feel well.

I can't say enough good things about this location. Office staff was very friendly and all areas had been cleaned and sanitized. I was seen by Chrissy Holloway and wow. She was very laid back and easy to talk to. She listened to me to understand all my symptoms. She really wanted to get me better. I wish all healthcare providers had her same bed side manner, knowledge and most of all professionalism. I will refer anyone to them and will go back myself when me and my family need medical care.

This location deserves way more than a 4 star rating to be honest. Very kind and welcoming reception, and nurse Mikayla deserves special mention because she attended to me in such a professional and calming manner I felt like I’d met a long list friend. For someone who’s had a few not so nice hospital experiences, my experience with care now is a positively memorable one. Thanks to the Dr as well who made me feel very comfortable. I pray y’all continue to find joy and fulfillment in the work that you do. Amen!

I have never had such a great experience this evening!! The person that checked me in greeted me with a smile. I walked straight back. Jen is absolutely amazing and very professional!! I didn’t get the name of the NP but she was very understanding and was absolutely amazing. I will always go back when my PCP’s office is closed. Keep up the great work!! Y’all are absolutely AMAZING!!!!

I was able to complete all of the paperwork prior to the appoint. It was easy to upload insurance information and identify information. This made check in so easy. The clinic contacted me regarding heading to the office. There was very little wait time between arrival and being seen. The medical staff were professional and knowledgeable. I was promptly treated. 100% satisfaction.

Very attentive and patient. They explain everything carefully and seemed as though my health really meat something to them. I wasn't rushed and ignored and it was a very fast process and the price isn't as scary as expected.

The drs and nurses in the back are phenomenal and very kind. I had to come two days in a row for my illness getting worse and they listened and helped me. However one of the front receptionists who was taking payments had an attitude. I got a text at 11:50 that they were ready for me to come in and at 12:01 I get a call from her saying they were waiting on me. I told her i had gotten the text and I was on my way and was in the middle of saying I’d be there in 3 minutes I got hung up on, to walking in and given snarky responses about another payment in saying “yeah that’ll be another 30 dollar copay”. When done with my visit, I walked to the front from the back and looked at her to check out being given a rather snippy “you already paid” instead of”you’re good to go” or whatnot. Not sure what was stuck up her behind but people go there because they are sick or not feeling well one way to another. The last thing any of us needs is to be made to feel worse by someone who is having a bad day or just plain attitude problems. I cannot thank the amazing team in the back enough for listening and being there to help others. I can’t begin to explain my appreciation for nurses and drs especially during this time. I hope no one else has received the attitude I have gotten and if I really was being that inconvenient by needing to return then get someone else to help because it just make me feel super inconvenient and like a bother. I did notice a lady who was training another lady and thank goodness that lady was being trained by someone that didn’t have an attitude problem. I didn’t say anything while there because I don’t have time nor the energy to deal with it, since I’m sick and just wanted to go home, but I hope she clears up the ‘tude. Respectfully of course.

Wait was extremely long (2 hrs 45 min) for a 10 min visit ! Did web check in at 8:30am. Appt was at 10. Went and didn’t see Dr till 12:45 almost.. Benefit of doubt there was only 1 Dr there to see all the patents! She needed help! But I can say that she C.H. gave me more help then I have received from my Primary Care.I felt so hopeless this past yr going to the Dr. Always the same thing and never solutions. But Speaking and spending that time I have faith of a mustered seed to have hope!! So sometimes you have to go through the waiting process and being patient to get the outcome you need! Thanks C.H.

This was by far the worst experience with any medical facility. Called at 3:30 about getting quick covid test for work purposes as we already knew we were positive from home tests, they say fill out forms and the wait is 1 to 1.5 hours and they will call me when room opens up. Did the forms and waited, and waited. At 5:00 I call to see what the wait is now, they say we'll it's longer wait now...wait, what? Why is it longer, I was in line since 3:30...well we are still waiting on open room and maybe by 6.....still waiting, at 6:59 they call and say room open come in..get here and there is no OPEN room..we waited until 7:20 to get called back, at 7 we had to walk around and locate someone as they obviously forgot about us and there was only 3 people total in the place for the entire time we were there. Honestly seemed completely clueless, shame that you get better medical service at walgreens and so much .friendlier, especially the one on Sycamore and McCart....props to Walgreens!!!

I had a positive experience with this facility, the LVN, and the NP: professional, capable, attentive, caring. I was in line for another location that was halted by triages, so this location made time to transfer my appointment. They processed me in, completed my labs, diagnosed me, and transmitted my prescriptions within 45 minutes. I would return if this were my local.

I went in 9am today to be put on the list for the 5-6pm to get a rapid test and was told that I had to pay for seen a doctor after waiting for about 3 hours outside in my car with my 3 kids. They they told me that it was up to the doctor if I get a rapid test. Even though I asked for one and I was guaranteed I would get a rapid test.

During my first visit, I explained my symptoms (flu like), how I was feeling etc. The doctor shrugged it off and diagnosed me with allergies and a sinus infection. They sent me home and gave me a simple prescription. Sure enough, I continued to get worse. Went back a week later, just to argue with the doctor again. He finally tests me for the flu and boom, I have the flu when he didn’t want to listen all along. He got mad, sent in my prescription and told me I could leave. Horrible doctor. They won’t listen to you. They think they know everything. Including how you feel and they’re quick to dismiss your thoughts when you know your body better than anyone else.

I arrived at Care Now on McCart without an appointment around 3:20 and was immediately greeted and my info was processed. I was told the wait was approximately 2 hrs. I was called into the exam room around 4:40. I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I was seen. The staff was very nice and helpful. The waiting area was very comfortable and the movie Frozen was on the TV. I told a few friends if they have to go to a care clinic to go to the McCart Care Now. Very impressed with this place.

The staff was kind and didn't dismiss me as though I wasn't there. The doctor was very kind and gentle and listened to what I had to say in the way of where my pain level was and what my issue was. I thank them a lot for taking the time to listen and know that I'm in pain and even though the meds they prescribed might not work, I still liked that they cared.
