👍👍 Excitement 8/10 Thrills 7/10 Intensity 6/10 Overall 8/10 One of Chessingtons best roller coasters in my opinion. Great custom layout but near the end it can lack excitement. Depending on the amount of people and where you sit your ride will be different every time. I would wait up to 60m. People often mention ride, coaster, roller, queue, Great, time, family, park, good, great,

One of the best rides for families coming to Chessington. Manageable for quite young kids whilst still fun for older kids. The animatronics of red dragons nearby are a good place for a family photo

Really fun Coaster but it's also the scariest Coaster in the park. If you like scary (no Iversons) then you will love it. It spins so much. Haha

Great ride at Chessington World of Adventures, exciting, lots of scary twists and turns and high drops forwards and backwards! Lots of fun, just have to deal with the long queues!

One of the best rides at Chessington. Shorter than Vampire's queue but went faster and at more scary angles. Definitely worth the 1-2 hour wait!

Good roller coaster. The operations and loading is quite slow but it is a brilliant family coaster. A good midway coaster between junior coasters and thrill coasters, could do with a lick of paint though. Overall, it's a great Maurer spinning rollercoaster. Gives good airtime at several points in the ride and you can get a good spin. Good ride for all the family

It's a scary roller coaster that is one of the best at Chessington. Long queues however if you enjoy rollercoasters it's probably worth it

You simply must must must visit this ride! It is well worth it and makes for one of the best in the resort. A big tip is to go here first thing in the morning. Forget all the other rides and head for this, because queues will regularly be up to 120 minutes during the day. We were on a quiet day and after our ride it was 70 minute queues for the rest of the day. You spin around on the ride a lot, so don't worry about picking which way to face when you get on, the ride will always be different. This is one that keeps you guessing every twist and turn, so if you like surprises, you'll love Dragon's Fury!

Rattle Rattle drop!! If you're looking for a roller coaster that will take you on a wild and woolly ride, then Dragon's Fury at Chessington World of Adventures is the ride for you. This spinning coaster is known for its intense spinning action, which can be quite disorienting for some riders. But if you're up for a challenge, then Dragon's Fury is sure to provide a thrilling and, er, memorable experience. The ride starts off with a slow climb up the lift hill, giving you a chance to admire the beautiful views of the park. But then, the fun begins. The coaster drops down the hill and immediately starts spinning, and you'll feel like you're being spun around in a washing machine. The spinning gets even more intense as the coaster goes through a series of inversions, including a vertical loop, a corkscrew, and a heartline roll. By the end of the ride, you'll feel like you've been on a never-ending loop, and you may even feel a little bit nauseous. But don't worry, that's all part of the fun! Dragon's Fury is a roller coaster that will take you to places you've never been before. You'll feel like you're flying through the air, and you'll be laughing so hard that your sides will hurt. So if you're looking for a roller coaster that will take you on an adventure, then Dragon's Fury is the ride for you. Just be prepared to be dizzy, disoriented, and maybe even a little bit sick. But hey, that's all part of the experience!

We joined the line with the app telling us a 75min wait to ride, whilst in the line the ride broke down twice, that dragged out to waiting in line for 3hr😡 The first time it got shut down for 15min before people were allowed back on the ride. The second time turned into a full rescue plan as there where a family stuck on the cart incline, that took them 30min to rescue and repair the fault. When we asked about getting reimbursed or compensated for time wasted the operators and park management team told us, that we need to speak to park inquiry. Just so we can go waste more time complaining. This is why I am posting about it now.

Arguably the best spinning roller coaster in the country that doesn't require £15 to get on (looking at you, Blackpool) Dragons Fury is a solid family thrill coaster that does everything a roller coaster can do without going upside down. Unfortunately it can develop a little rattle especially on the first drop but the layout is of high-quality and still holds up twenty years after opening.

The best ride with no hands followed very closely by Mandrill Mayhem be sure to book your place in the virtual queue in jumanji as soon as you arrive. Definitely the best 2 rides by far 👌... Great day out....

What a ride. An underrated one among enthusiasts. The drops catch you off guard and the first hill section is quite intense. Great for the children who want a step up on a roller coaster. The one con is we went on a half term sunday so queues up to 60 mins. We did fast track because we expected this as it is right next to the parks entrance.

Was having a good day at chessington and decided to queue for dragons fury. The workers weren’t filling the 4 seats of the carriages, they just put a group in one carriage. More often than not, there would be one or two people in a carriage. This meant the supposedly 60 minute queue was two hours. Then, the ride shuts down for 20 minutes, and then closes, kicking everyone out of the queue. Spent 2 hours waiting in a line for nothing. Edit: have gone back another 2 times since I first wrote the review- dragons fury was shut 90% of the time both times.

Looks scary but when on it was just really fast. A great adrenalin rush and only took 30 mins to queue towards end of the day.

The only thing I would like to point out is the Mandrill Ride, you had to scan the code to reserve a place. My phone or my partners phone cannot scan (we are in our 60's) even your lovely staff could not help us, so that was a big disappointment, not everybody has I.phones. apart from that a great day.

One of the best rollercoasters in the park. The wait is very long. Fortunately we only waited 45 mins . However once we got on we had to get of as there was a technical issue so we went away and came back agin using the fast track tickets they gave us as a sorry gift.

Great, spining coaster. Good family fun, until the breaking run which will fold you in half if you are facing forwards..... uncomfortable to say the least.

The ride is very good but the theme park is rubbish queues are too big and u have to spend even more money on fast track tickets just to not queue for over 2 hours I ended up spending a lot of money and only went on 2 rides way too busy not worth it.

First time in over 12 years I've been chessington and went on this with the Mrs as she's been on it before. Wow what a ride enjoy every second of it just shame it couldn't of went faster lol. Will definitely go back on it.

In my opinion the best and most fun ride in chessington. As it freely rotates it can be quite random from one go to the next and ya can start by sitting facing forwards or backwards. A backwards start is probably slightly scarier over the first drop.

Absolutely amazing ride. Most intense ride in the park. Though I think the vampire is still my favourite for all round fun!!

  • 4/5 Hishaam A. 2 years ago on Google
Great ride but queue way too long even with fast track and had 2 fire alarms in 1 day so we had to exit the queue after reaching the front. Actual ride is great.
