A few weeks ago I stayed at another hotel in Richmond and it wasn't the best experience so to go here, was a godsend! Staff were fantastic, from booking to reception to bar and even cheerful breakfast staff. Made the stay very enjoyable. A bit of confusion about the dogs with us and the room we were staying in but handled very well and unlike the last hotel, very professionaly done. Room was so clean and extremely well stocked with accessories for the price. Great nights sleep as beds were so comfortable. The parking was easy and free which is worth a fortune in that area and the outside drinking area was clean and despite being on a busy road, very relaxing. Breakfast was cooked to perfection, had the Salmon with poached eggs. Perfect eggs and really enjoyed it all. We will definitely be back

This place is terrific! Easy to find & perfectly placed for getting out & about. Right by the Thames we enjoyed a drink (or two!) by the river which is just over the bridge & maybe a 5 minute walk to a very popular place with bars & restaurants. We also caught a boat to take us to Hampton Court Palace. The White Hart serves delicious food & the staff are exceptionally nice. Our room was very comfortable as well. Already planning another visit.

Has to be full marks 👍🏻🙂 Our first trip to Kingston, so we chose this hotel purely for its location and parking. Usually a bit reticent about Pub/Hotels, but I needn't have worried. Room (202) lovely and ticked all our boxes - comfortable bed, great shower, Nespresso clone coffee machine, mini fridge, and quiet. Breakfast proved to be equally excellent. I had the full English, and the coffee arrived in a decent sized French Press. Shout out to Gary, who served us.

Absolutely lovely. Only went for 1 night, the rooms were nicely decorated. The staff were really nice and personable. The pub itself is great, good food, cocktails look great and service is spot on. We'll be back!

Just stayed for 3 nights over Christmas and it was a lovely place to be. Family room was great, plenty of space, and the breakfasts were really good - plenty of choice and everything we had was very tasty. Staff are cheerful and very helpful despite working very hard on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. We’ll definitely return. Thanks for having us!

One word... Amazing! Stunning suite (Catherine Howard), comfortable and welcoming with a beautiful bathroom to match. We didn't use the bar or restaurant as we were visiting family, but the public area and bar looked equally welcoming and well appointed. Won't be the last time we stay. Thank you!

The location was really good and the room was nice, clean and comfortable. For us the breakfast wasn’t to our taste, the bacon was streaky rather than back bacon and you only got one sausage. My partner asked for just sausage, bacon and beans one morning so the rest of the full breakfast items he didn’t want so we would of thought that he would maybe get 2 sausages but no only 1 sausage, also was only given one cup of coffee, even though other guests were offered another cup for some reason we weren’t, service appeared a bit chaotic at breakfast. Would say we would stay here again for the room and location but would not have the breakfast.

Enjoyed our one night stay here. Close to Hampton Court and nearby Hampton Wick Railway Station for train journey into City Centre (40 mins off peak). We had a large, very clean and comfortable room at the rear of the hotel. Quiet sleep. Front rooms may be a bit noisier as the hotel is situated on a busy roundabout. Enjoyed an evening meal in the hotel with a good range of vegetarian and vegan options. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely consider return stay in the future.

Came to the White Hart for a birthday meal with friends. Ordered the haddock and chips which was nice, but the fish was a little overdone with batter, otherwise all was good. Nice atmosphere, very friendly service. Would go again, nice view from the window by the bridge.

The White Hart Hotel was such a lovely stay. They are very dog friendly and are minutes away from the river walk and Hampton Court Park. We saw a dozen deer including a large buck there. Back to the hotel the room was comfortable and they have parking. The restaurant was tasty, we enjoyed a breakfast and dinner there. It’s an easy walk to the train station and a short ride into London. We’ll definitely stay here again.

What can I say, a great hotel overall. Very nice rooms which have a good size. Water, tea and coffee are also available in the room. The breakfast is good and the dishes you can choose from the menu are freshly prepared. The restaurant and especially the kitchen team deserve a big compliment, the food is really fantastic. The staff also deserve a compliment, everyone is super friendly and helpful. All in all, we can only say that we really enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. I have already booked again for next year.

We stayed here due to its walking distance to Bushy parkrun. We booked a suite and were immediately impressed! Full size bathroom with claw foot bath. The breakfast was superb!! And hospitality spot on. The room was extremely comfortable. The only downside was there were so many sirens throughout the night we didn't get a lot of sleep.

Me and my partner stayed for one night. The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfy. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was tasty. Ample parking as well which was secure. We would definitely stay again and recommend anyone needing a hotel in the area to stay.

My wife (Esther, who made booking) and I were impressed and will definitely recommend the hotel to our wider circle of friends and relatives. I am not sure how reasonable or competitive their prices are relative to their competitors but in the grand scheme of things, we did not feel short changed or disappointed. All the basic amenities were there, very clean and hygienic . Staff friendly and provided service with a smile. Food was good standard. Great " oldie England" atmosphere. Will re attend when the occasion calls for it. Viz RHS Hampton Court and Wimbledon Tennis at very short notice. Thank you Jake ( receptionist).

We got one of the better rooms ,and we were not disappointed, absolutely beautiful. Close to train and bus, Breakfast was lovely, we didn't like dinner menu. Close to Hampton Court Palace, which is a must see. I would stay here again.

Visited the White Hart Restaurant today. From arrival I was rather disappointed. We were given paper menus and told to pick a table. Once we were seated, we were left in the corner of the restaurant for around 15 minutes before a drinks order was even taken. We placed our starter and mains order at the same time. Both starters were bland and missing flavour. Both mains were served Luke warm. Even after returning a full roast dinner, the replacement that came out, was still not hot. The overall atmosphere in the pub was unpleasant. From the minute we sat down, 4 members of the floor staff sat on a table nearby drinking alcohol and having lunch. Leaving one person looking after the floor. Not only was there cobwebs and dust on the windows right by our table, but one of the kitchen staff (who later joined the rest of the team drinking a cocktail) nearly walked into me once with no regard. But also came right by where we were sat shouting over the pub to their colleagues, casual stuff. Also, whilst we were sat there, just behind the table there was a chef in the outer bin area, fully standing and jumping in a biffa bin. This visit was by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had in any pub setting. Let alone a pub with rooms.

My first time staying here but it definitely won’t be my last. Amazing rooms and very friendly and helpful staff who were more than happy to help. Massive thanks to Gary too as he was so helpful with questions I had and giving advice on booking the same suite for when I visit with my partner next time due to her falling in love with a video I sent her of how amazing the room is. Definitely a gem of a hotel in Kingston.

Fabulous room, stayed for 4 nights, breakfasts were excellent, room was clean, very comfy bed, excellent staff and a hotel in London with free parking! We're looking forward to a return visit 😀

Great location, walking distance to just about everything. Good service. Nice staff including domestic. Just wish had a better room service menu. Like sandwiches. I really did enjoy being there though. Definitely recommend.

Great location, lovely room, great service. Only issue are the walls are pretty thin. Food in the restaurant is fab and breakfast was excellent. I would stay again.

Had a short stay here. Initially the room was great, quiet overlooking the Car Park (202).Unfortunately the air con didn't work on the hottest week of the year so sleeping was hard. Also the mini fridge had been switched off so milk had gone off. Food and drinks were great and overall its a really reasonable price for the location especially with it having its own Car Park. Would definitely return.

Booked for the Kingston half marathon. Location was spot on. 2 minutes walk into centre. Rooms very clean. Polite and accomadating staff. Phoned me to offer early check in when room was ready. Breakfast good value for money. Bar / lounge had a good vibe. Would stay again.

Our favourite Hotel near the river Thames and Hampton Court! Lovely old building with marvellous double rooms with the names of King Henry VIII wifes and comfortable double rooms in the new building next to the parking with sofas to extend it to a family room. Huge parking for hotel guests and a great restaurant in the old and very stylish refurbished main building. Perfect breakfast with a selection on a buffet and made to order breakfast like the best Eggs Benedict! The menus for dinner offers a variety of standards like a fantastic burger or a fresh battered deep-fried fish filet with chips and muschy peas. On a black board you can find weekly offers from the kitchen with something for everybody. Especially the shepherd's pie is awesome! A wide selection of Fuller's beer with the fantastic London Pride Amber Ale as my favorite British beer! The service is outstanding friendly and the managers Tony and Gary are a perfect example for service orientated management! We love it there and keep coming back. Thank you for your nice hospitality!

I booked a table for Sunday lunch at short notice yesterday afternoon, following a shopping trip to Kingston. All the staff were very friendly and the roast beef lunch was delicious. It was so refreshing to go to a place where you are looked after properly and the food is of a high standard. You can just tell The White Hart is managed properly, will definitely return soon. Thank you for the great experience, highly recommended !

I've only ever eaten and had drinks here, but the food is so good and a lovely front of house and kitchen staff! Definitely recommend the Cashew & quinoa cake as a starter - it's so delicious! 🤤 their chips are also amazing! They also do delicious 2 for 1 cocktails on weekdays, definitely worth a visit!

Just got back from a 3 night stay. Fantastic. Staff were excellent, very friendly and covered many jobs from reception to serving food, all with a great attitude and nothing was to much trouble. Food was fantastic and good choice of beers. Room was very good, clean and tidy and quiet. . Had a problem with toilet flush on Friday (room 206) but wasn't a dampener on stay at all.The receptionist on duty then and when we checked out on Sat morning was brilliant, funny and a joy to deal with. Thank you. Great location for Hampton Court Palace and 5 min walk over Bridge to Kingston.. Will definitely be using this hotel again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty as well! The location is so perfect for nice walks and shopping. My ONLY criticism would be a lack of dusting in the rooms. There was dust on almost every surface 🤧

Sat outside for a soft drink on a warm Saturday afternoon. It had a good buzz with lots of different groups - families, friends, singles. Waiting staff attentive outside. Can't comment on the food but a great place for a drink after a heavy round of retail therapy!

The hotel was way better than expected. The location is great and the car park for guests is a real bonus. Breakfast, however, was disappointing. I was asked how I would like my eggs. I like “over easy”. The eggs that came were obviously part of a batch that were being kept warm, presumably like under a heat lamp. I said the eggs weren’t “over easy”, and that I also like the yolks soft. The next eggs that came were just like the previous ones, this time flipped with hard yolks. Useless. Plus, the rest of the food was now cold. Note: The cost of the breakfast was not included in the room rate so I had to pay separately. Next time, I will have breakfast elsewhere.

There is something special about staying in a Pub, the people you meet, the beer you taste, the food, the sights you see... I've checked all the right experiences at this little hotel. Great beer, food, friendly staff. Would definitely stay again at any White Hart hotel. Cheers!

Had a brilliant meal early evening this evening. Food was amazing, better than your average pub food. Brilliant staff who were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Visited with my parents and 3 year old, good kids menu as well as adults. Would definitely recommend.

The pub is great, the hotel not so much (or at least my experience was quite bad and nothing was done to rectify it). The lady at the hotel reception was lovely and helpful–I just wish she and the rest of the staff wore a mask (personal preference, I know it’s not legally required). I booked a room (very nice room, no complaints there) because I needed a place to work undisturbed for 24 hours as I had an important deadline to meet. After work was done around midnight, I went to bed for a “restorative night sleep” (silly me) only to be woken up repeatedly by sooo much noise from the hallway from people walking past my room and talking loudly at crazy hours. As if that wasn’t enough, we were woken up at 3.20 am by the fire alarm. Luckily it was a false alarm. Woke up for breakfast at 7 (had a meeting at 8 elsewhere so I was in a rush) only to find out that breakfast had been delayed because of the alarm incident as it apparently related to the gas in the kitchen. When breakfast started, I asked if instead of a full English breakfast or a granola bowl (the breakfast menu doesn’t have too many options), I could have a quick cheese-on-toast (I was in a rush!) but was told no. You would have thought that they would have had the gesture after a disrupted night etc, but nope. That’s it. Bad service, no attempts at making your experience pleasant. No apologies about the alarm either. I’ll be returning to the pub because I’ve been a long-time customer and it’s a great pub, but I won’t be staying at the hotel again unfortunately. Which is a pity because I do have to accommodate a large party in a few month’s time; I guess I’ll lodge them at the Forrester Arms instead.

The hotel was lovely, small little hotel with on-site pub. Great place if you've got a dog, they provide bedding and even popped some treats down. The rooms came with bottled water, Nespresso coffee pods and fresh milk. The heating was on and it was very hot in the room, we slept with the air con on 16 Celsius and the window open as it was boiling. There was only one breakfast tea bag in the room too (at least 2 would be nice). Restaurant for breakfast and dinner was great (fish tacos were tasty), service was really good (the staff looked tired but were very welcoming). Having some sauces more easily available (ketchup & brown) would be useful. If definitely come back and stay again in the future.

Perfect location, only a 5 minute walk over the bridge to Kingston and a 10 minute (in traffic) to Hampton Court Palace. The room was excellent, as was were the staff. Breakfast (included in the price) was also very good with plenty of choice. Will definitely be staying here again.

When we booked this hotel it was rated 5 star. I wouldn't give it 5 star due to the decor of the rooms. Set in a very busy area of Hampton Wick, within short distances of a great shopping centre Hamton court Palace and the River. Friendly staff, with a good service

We were hiker that stayed one night. The rooms were clean. The staff were agreeable. It was nestled close to town and the Thames river. The roomed were comfortable and presented well. Our mattress was a bit lumpy but this is what adventure is about. Great breakfast.

Booked 3 nights for my in-laws while they came down to visit us. Staff were wonderful, really helpful and friendly, and went out of their way to help. An excellent team and really enjoyed our puddings on the Sunday night - thank you so much to all the staff, we will definitely book again with you

Huge thank you to Rob the night manager who was very helpful trying to get me a cab home in the very early hours of 26/9/2021. Even gave me a soft drink and let me charge my mobile phone. Eventually got home thanks to his help so thanks again!

Second stay at this lovely gem of an inn. Super cozy, friendly and absolutely adorable. Everything you would want in a cozy British Inn. Front staff is very helpful, housekeeping delightful. Thank you Ashley, Niki and Caroline for making our return trip memorable. Epic location! Perfect 10k jog along the River bank to Hampton Court Palace and back. Enjoy the lovely Kingston Market, too! Great shopping.
