Came here for a meal with a group of friends after the races. We arrived much earlier than booked, but the staff were very accommodating and made a table ready for us up stairs. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. We all enjoyed our food, and would love to come again. The pub downstairs was very busy.

It's a bit small but there is everything you would expect from a room. The building is separate from the pub and you need to pay for parking. Perfect for being in the town for other events.

I have worked over hundred kitchens and can tell this is one of the cleanest pubs I have been in.

Went here for drinks. Great local bar, lots of drinks to choose from. There are lots of different areas so didn't feel crowded. There are more rooms upstairs although I didn't go up there. They have TV's for when the sport is on. Good central location.

Just popped in for a quick pint. I really liked the decor and ambiance in this pub. Will definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

Cannot comment on the rooms as we did not stay, but the pub itself is a lovely pub. The service was great, the food was amazing and it has only just started serving food again! Would definitely recommend!

Stayed for a night to have some me time. The room was in a separate building so you weren’t disturbed by any noises from outside (pub). The room was very clean, cosy and lovely decorated. Fab coffee maker! Would highly recommend

Went here for a birthday dinner with friends, the food was exceptional and the service both efficient and attentive. The setting was very welcoming and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

Amazing roast dinner! Fantastic service from the manager and the decor is gorgeous. Will definitely be back

We stayed one night. The rooms are actually around the corner from the pub itself. The room was euro-small to the point where we could only put a couple of suitcases on the bed. Fan was broken in the bathroom. Otherwise very clean and nicely appointed with water and coffee in the room.

Had a lovely Sunday roast here a few weeks ago, perfect portions, great selection of veg, amazing Yorkshire puds and topped off with good service. Highly recommend!

Lovely staff but badly trained. Had function room booked. No bar upstairs as till not working. Food served with no cutlery. Hard to eat coleslaw with your fingers!

Great pub, livens up in the evenings. Rooms across the road were excellent.

We had our daughter's birthday party in one of the function rooms at the Albert Arms and it was fantastic. The room was a perfect size and beautifully decorated so there was no need to add any further decorations other than some balloons and a birthday banner. The food and service were also excellent, James and his team were really helpful in setting the room up and getting things like extra plates when asked and all our guests said how good all the food was. We would definitely book again for any future celebrations and I work in Esher so will definitely be popping in with my colleagues for a working lunch!

We had our daughter’s christening celebration at The Albert last weekend and have nothing but the highest praise for the staff, the food, the venue and the service. We used one of the function rooms which had ample space for our 40 guests. The food went down a treat and everyone has been raving about it since! James and team were accommodating, helpful and welcoming. Couldn’t have asked for a better day. We love this place and will definitely be back!

The Albert Arms is not a regular hotel, it’s more like a pub with a guest house. First of all the pub is great, food, drinks and service are really great. The rooms are ok too good, enough space as well. The beds are a bit old and there needs to be an upgrade. Small topic, but we asked to leave our luggage for the day which was not possible, as there is no real reception. Not a big topic, but was very inconvenient at that day

Such a lovely local. If I ever need my neighbours I will probably find them here. Their live nights are fantastic, their experimental G&Ts are brilliant, and weirdly their calamari is probably my favourite.

Great service, brilliant food, the Sunday roast is worth every penny and would definitely recommend, they have a good selection of drink options from Ale to liquor.

The room I stayed in was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The value for money, being in the salubrious area of Esher (and the friendliness of the young man who checked me in) make this the perfect place to stay.

Great atmosphere on the Friday night I went, singing and dancing and everyone was friendly.

The meal we had was good but had to wait 1 hour . Only us awaiting food . About 15 people in bar but for such a small do not understand why they had 6 bar staff. Only one out of six was attentive very nice young man. Stayed in hotel room on 16th April for one night . Would have been 5 star 🌟 but for delay in food

Friendly local pub on Esher High Street. Good range of well kept beers. Lively atmosphere on Friday night when there's often a singer performing.

Best bar in Esher. Says a lot given there are a few. The clientele is pleasant and the bar is small and intimate. Unlike most of Surrey it is as friendly place. Food is delicious but expensive and so is the beer but that’s just Surrey prices. As my gran would say “hospitality is an art form, style and decor is only one part, attracting the right crowd for what you want is the true talent. Pulling a pint is one thing being a barman is another”

Went here for the first time since we moved last year. Had the Sunday lunch roast and the food was really good. Staff were friendly and it has a nice atmosphere. Our drinks did take a bit of time but we were compensated for that, even without asking! We would definitely go back for a drink or for a meal.

Nice little room in Esher. Staff helpful and friendly. Would use again.

Great pub and staff, but the room was disappointing, lots of faults that need fixing.. extractor fan in bathroom not working, shower head clogged up, shower doors very dodgy and nearly fell off the runners, bed very creaky, no ventilation in the room, it was unbearably hot. Fan provided but didn't have any effect whatsoever. Windows wouldn't stay open, had to prop them up with a book! No room for any seating so had to sit on the bed.. Thankfully we didn't spend a lot of time in the room, just for sleeping, you certainly couldn't relax in it during the day!

I wanted to stay in an inn in Esher and The Albert was a perfect match for me since I was out all day. Everuone was so nice. The small compact quiet room with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom worked out well for me.

😐 Stopped off here going down towards Brighton. Didn't realise how far and confusing it was to get to. Very good for dogs 🐕 . Not recommended if you just need a quick stop.
