Amazing place. Lot's on indoor and outdoor fun for children. Some fun for adults too. The catering is limited but a picnic is a great idea, plenty of private space available. Lot's of parking space. Make sure to book tickets in advance. It's basically a one huge playground.

Today my partner and I took our grand children to Hobbledown to give them a break from their parents, and although the cost for 2 adults and three children was £100 it was money well spent. the kids totally enjoyed the 6 hours spent there sampling almost everything the Adventure Farm Park and zoo could offer the indoor soft play, and all of the outdoor activities, climbing towers, underground tunnels, bouncing air filled pillow, and water filled cushions, plenty of water and 3 drenched kids later we had very tired but happy children who told us that this was their best day of their school holidays so far.

We visited on Feb, (weekend but wasn’t busy) was it cold weather and chill but still some animals out and had a great fun. We have 12m baby, she saw the first time all the animals and fell asleep. We went 13:30 and couldn’t play soft play cuz she fell asleep 😴 but we really enjoyed. We will visit again other day!!!! Lots of parking space, great outdoor activities. Will be more fun when is good weather!

Great place to visit. The café at the entrance has surprisingly good calamari. Downside was hot drinks and food has to be purchased via the Hobbledown app. Tried three times and failed. Staff took pity on us. The adventure farm is great for kids. Two thirds of the place was open, the other closed. No signage to say why. Really enjoyable day. Our ticket was for 4 hours and we stayed that amount of time (two parents of a single 4 year old). Enough to keep us entertained. I recommend only spending 10 minutes or so on each 'activity' otherwise you won't see the entire place and that would be a shame.

I actually quite enjoyed my day hear with the kids. With a 5 year old and 1 year old there's a lot to do for both. As we went outside the holidays a lot of things were not going on like the zorbing etc.. They have a wide range of animals, it's a cross between a farm and zoo. I mean they have a camel.. the animals have a lot of open space for them, so much sometimes you can't see them, but hey they are not there for a show, they are just trying to live. The park has an imagination zone, water play, crazy slides and adventure areas, they have these random inflatable trampoline things and a water pebble which is fun. The kids got to enjoy so much, there was sand, water everything. They had food along the trail and a restaurant as well. The price is a little steep at 22 for adults and children... or maybe I'm just cheap. Free for under 2s. It is cheaper if you book online, but I did this as a last minute thing, someone had recommended it. I would recommend it and maybe consider going in the holidays if you want to do all the extras like zip lining and all that fancy stuff. A nice day out for the children and for myself actually.

One of our best day this summer! The only thing we arrived late 🥴 at 2 😅 and 4 hours was not enough. My son really enjoyed it. Very clean and tidy place. I loved the hand washing stations everywhere! The price is a bargain! Only £12 for a toddler and an adult (weekdays only) we will definitely come back and bring some friends with us. So many things we didn’t see and so many activities we didn’t try. DEFINITELY WORTH THE VISIT

Hobbledown is my families favourite day out. It has so many activities to enjoy, my boys started the morning running and climbing around the indoor play area. We then had fun in the outside play areas, they have a sand and fun water works area, with pullies and pumps. The boys were feeling brave and took to the ariel play area, which is an additional cost. We then visited all the animals, which was very inactive and educational. After working up a massive appetite, we went back indoors and had pizzas and a very delicious chicken burger.

Great playground and farm! Highly recommended! Apart from beautiful climbing structures, the playground also includes some underground tunnel in complete darkness to challenge the kids. It doesn’t only have the popular jumping pillow but also a water pillow where kids run and lie down on it without getting wet. My 6 yo joined the zoo keeper experience, staffs were very friendly and talked about lots of information about the animals in an engaging way. Throughout the 2 hours experience, the kids were so closed to the animals in their enclosures, making it extra special and memorable.

Loved our day out! Park was very clean. Surprisingly good prices for everything. We were given a colour arm band and time to leave the park (we got 4 and a half hours at the park.) This is because we visited on a peak session, weekend day. Staff were very friendly. We would of liked a map to better navigate the park. It's not overly large and the layout is nice, it's just we had trouble finding the walkthrough entrances on a few of the animals. We would definitely recommend and visit again!

Good kids day out, £22 per head. Sand parts were good other than this not much to do. Missed the swings. Goats, ponies, parrots, camel and few more.

Wow! By far the best family day out. We originally went to kill a couple of hours as it was close to where we are staying but the kids 10 and 14 didn't want leave. At fist it didn't look like a lot but if you go exploring you find all sorts of amazing things like a maize of secret tunnels and lots of interactive gadgets. Jamie helped us out on front desk and had a bit of a joke around. Super friendly and made it a great start to the day. Wish we could go back as we didn't quite get to everything we wanted. I love this place so much ❤

A really nice adventure park for children that like animals or climbing, jumping, and exploring spaces or all of the above. Many options for climbing into tunnels and wooden castles. Good for a wide range of ages. For more advanced rope activities, buy the tickets separately. Most of the fun things are outside, so probably not as nice on a rainy day. The food options are reasonable, but you will have to queue on a busy day, although you can reserve the food and come back for it later.

Last Sunday visit with friends and their kids aged between 3 to 12. Started by recommendation by my friend, booked easily on the website, arrived there, staff helpful but very young people and you could tell they were tired. Place very clean and big, on a sunny day you'll enjoy it most. Kids and adults had fun, playground, lots of space and nature, and of course animals, the goats were our favourite,we even fed them! I would suggest to add more toilets (only one near the bar) and more animals! Had a great time, price is 20 pounds, it is ok for a full day. Will be back :)

They do not value their members. I paid a lot of money for my ‘anytime’ members pass for my family of 5. I’ve tried a few times to book slots but It’s fully booked even though the park isn’t fully booked and if I were to pay for a day ticket there are plenty available. I complained to Hobbledown via email and got a reply saying that it’s only fair that tickets are limited to members so that there are tickets available for paying guests. Well as far as I’m concerned I am a paying guest, I’ve paid in advance. I understand that due to Covid times are tough for businesses but treating members this way is a mistake. The slots available to day guests are rarely all taken, so that could have gone to a member, who although wouldn’t be paying again for entry, would probably be purchasing food and drink.

Great price for a day of fun! The kids love the variety of things to do although I would recommend leaving the water play until the end of the day 🙈 the inside play area is huge and the food is reasonably priced. Definitely a better value day out compared to other similar places.

Amazing day out, I've never seen so many large play areas. My son loved the underground tunnels within one of the play areas. The Zorbs and high ropes are included within the price too. We stayed the full day from 9:30 until almost 5:30. Would definitely recommend.

I visited on a toddler day, Thursday, so only £11.00 for me and my daughter. Great large soft play and then saw some animals, not many were out but I know they would have been out later. Great outdoor play area my daughter loved. Will have to visit again as I know we didn't get to go to everything! Anyone with little ones not yet in school I recommend toddler days on Tuesday or Thursday's during term time. Such a good deal!

We visited on Sunday 5th Nov for our daughters birthday. We booked her a junior zoo keepers experience at 14:00. Ryan was our host/team member and explained the experience very clearly before she started. He was very very knowledgable, friendly and polite. My daughter got to feed the otters, meerkats, alpacas and donkeys and also wash a tortoise. A tour was also included. There are lots of adventure play areas, which the kids absolutely loved. Thanks again Ryan for making my daughters birthday a great day. Will be visiting again.

Thought a winter visit would be interesting (and also needed to make use of the membership). Expected it to be rammed (in the soft play) but luckily it was fine. Had a free reign of everything outside including the Imaginarium (which the kids loved - my back didn't going through the small bits!). I think the reptiles were the best bit and my youngest now wants a bearded dragon even more than she did before! Saw a number of the animals including the otters and meerkats but some have been moved to warmer surroundings. The soft play was the usual but happily wasn't too busy. Well worth the visit on membership. Not sure I would pay the going rate for a day visit in winter though.

Hobbledown offers a really great family outing. We all had a lot of fun, from parents to our 4 years old and 15 months old. - There is lots of fantastic outdoor play, with huge castles for children to climb and discover. - There are farm animals as well as a bit more exotic animals (my son loved seeing the camels). We liked that exotic animals are ones that seem compatible with this type of space (no lions or other animals of the sort that need lots and lots of space to be happy, so great!). - we also loved seeing the birds of prey flying. It was fantastic to see how much respect their owner has for them. - the only downside was the food. Most dishes on the menu are variations around chips. "Chips with A" "chips with B" etc... But not enough to remove a star!

Had a really great time at this place. There are a lot of activities to keep the children happy. You can walk into the enclosures with some of the animals. It is good for all ages but especially for those under the age of 13. There are places for the under 5s to play. We was not able to see the indoor play area due to covid 19. The only thing that was lacking was a better place to buy refreshments and the toilet facilities in the main play area. I feel this place is good value for money and will definitely plan to return again.

Do not get a membership, Its a scam, you become second choice to guests who pay more per visit. If there are any tickets left over, then they offer them to members. Currently I can not book a single weekend for the rest of the year. but a guest has full availability until December.

Some things are closed but it’s good fun outside for the kids. Restaurant/indoor play area is cold, no vinegar, have to pay for ketchup and mayo. Forgot milk in tea so had to go back up to them about 3 times but all in all it’s worth it. Although £50 for 2 adults and 1 kid is an absolute rip! A family ticket for 3 should be no more than £30. Should be accessible to everyone.

Had a great day with the kids (11, 8 and 3). Lots of different play areas for all ages, big and small, we loved the zip line the best. Small 'zoo' with a few different animals and a couple of walkthrough areas. Also had a huge indoors play centre with a reasonably priced cafe but you're welcome to bring in your own food and eat while the kids play. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great place for families!!! My son loved to see all the animals and then playing in the indoor area. Nice, big softplay! Could do with a bit more variety of food at the restaurants though, however we enjoyed the pizza. Good to know that you can take your own food as well, so less to spend! Amazing place just next door to us.

A really lovely place for kids and families. It's not too crowded as you have ticketed times to enter/leave. Your ticket gets you access for 4hrs (this may be extended if it's not busy). Large enclosures for the animals and different opportunities for children to pet the animals. There's an indoor play area that you need to book into that gives you access for 45mins. Of you want to order any food, you'll need to order via an app. LOTS of play areas and plenty of staff around to help/if you need guidance. Only annoying thing is that there are only one set of toilets (at the entrance) which is frustrating when you have young kids. Small gift shop with lots of different bits. Would definitely recommend for families.

One downside I see is that the accompanying adults pay the same ticket price. Otherwise this would make it a five 🌟 place for Children activity fun. Visited on a school strike day. It was busy but not too crowded. Small animals, indoor play area, cafe, toilets, picnic benches, outdoor play area in multiple sections overall a big win for the kids. Compared to some of the nearby activity centres in Croydon this is a great win for the price. The cafe has some hot food but the children portion should have little more considering the price. I noticed the physics based water flow project installations which are cool. If the review helped please hit the 👍

Very good for children over five as some of the play things are for children between five and adult Lots of different animals to look at Can be muddy in places Meet some of the animals up close May need to zoom in on some of the photos below. Sorry but not all animals you can get close to Would given it give if everything was open but worth a visit will go back next year when everything is fully open Check out the web site and video on YouTube for more information Need to book on line only Cafe be and indoor playground equipment behind the shop but children can get lost around the very large playpen best to this last as children won't want to leave the indoor playground Worth the money but lots of walking through mud in places Note adults please do not try the underground tunnels as they are very tight to get out of Hope this will make you try this place and enjoy the family day as the three of us did

Brilliant place for a fun day out with the family. My son really enjoyed himself and there was such a wide range of activities to do. I'd like to also just say well done to the young guy that was the elf for the day. He was absolutely brilliant and even maintained his character whenever we saw him. Such great energy and confidence making sure all the customers have a good experience. The only downside is the expectations my son now has for what elves should be like.

Fantastic day out with the family. Both myself and little ones absolutely loved it. I booked tickets for the bank holiday Monday 24 hours before hand as I was struggling on where to take them for the day but I’m glad with my choice. We turned up by car around 10am, plenty of parking with team members guiding you in on where to park. You don’t pay for parking at this site. We left Hobbledown just after 5pm so made the most of it. Short 5 minute queue before getting to the kiosk with allocated softplay times communicated before gaining entry. Although you can pretty much use the softplay anytime as no one really checks your coloured wrist band. Plenty for both kids and adults to get stuck into. From bouncing pillows to crawling in tunnels to playing in the sand area. We really enjoyed the imaginarium area with interactive sand building & 3D animals to water play area. We couldn’t walk through the animal enclosures as they were all closed off but we could still see the animals from around the small perimeter. Otters, meerkats, tortoises, lemurs & wallaby’s. Kids really enjoyed the softplay area quite a wide range of different things to do apart from just softplay in the area. Interactive game projected on the floor to miniature trampolines to tunnels. Highly recommend a visit & we will be back.

Really good place for children to get close to animals. The climbing frames are sturdy and very beautiful. Lots of really nice picnic benches and seating all around the park. The children loved spending their time there. The only fault was the good, we didn't like it at all and not good value for money. When we go again we will be taking a packed lunch.

  • 5/5 Lloyd S. 8 months ago on Google
Kids absolutely loved it, great aesthetic, was busy but loads of seating everywhere and good priority system for soft play. Had zorbs, several huge play areas a sensory zone, we paid £5 to do the short go ape/ zipline, which I thought was reasonable. Only downside was that all of the animal 'walkthroughs' were closed. Went there expecting typical kids petting zoo, but was more an outdoor activity place, with animals adding to the atmosphere & experience.

We visited Hobbledown during lockdown on a rainy day and we loved it. The building work was not yet complete but it gave us an incentive to return at a later date- just a shame that lockdown number 2 has cropped up and prevented this from happening. Staff have always been friendly and welcoming and their coffee is decent too!

Hobbledown has lots to see and see with a value for money price tag to match. Great mixture of animals, outdoor and indoor climbing areas. We found the outdoor areas really good with lots of variety. The indoor centre was excellent and so we did this a few times as my daughter loved it so much. We also especially loved the bird of prey show. I am sure in the summer it would be a lot busier and more animals out and about however for a winter visit we found more than enough to do. Stuff managed the COVID thing well, suppported by the app. Overall a nice family day out at an affordable price point. Recommended.

The boys (age 7 & 4) loved it. There was so much for them to climb through, on, under, over, up & down. Luckily it didn't rain as we were unable to book soft play (there was only 2 sessions!) They loved the sand play area & the water play area, although the water area didn't hold their attention for long. They also loved running & jumping on the water pillow & the air pillow. The fire juggler was also a big hit, along with hunting the pumpkins. The animals were an added bonus and they enjoyed the walkways through some of the enclosures.

Great day out but a bit pricey for a family. Set up well with the timed entrance to the park. Tickets also have a limited stay time when you are there, so given the kids loved the equipment it was not possible for us to see and do all in the slotted time. Would love to go back, and would probably go on a regular basis of it was a bit cheaper. Also summer months are probably better for the sand and water play area. Bring clothes for kids to change or get wet in.

Fantastic day out for the family. In door soft play is really good and the out door play areas look amazing, my 2 year old had so much fun seeing the animals and playing in all the play areas. Good size portions if you order food but also loads of places to eat of you take a picnic.

Fantastic farm park, great kids play thing's (frames, castles, tunnels, trampolines, etc). And a great collection of animals, loved being able to go into the lemurs enclosure (see pics). Highly recommended for anyone with kids of primary school age.

Great adventure park, plenty to do! Our 6 year old loved the tunnels in the playground and the 4 year old couldn't get enough of the tube slides. Got to meet the lemurs very close up too, which was a lovely experience!

Great day out with the family. Lots of interesting things to do and see. I would recommend bringing a packed lunch or having something to eat beforehand as 1. The food is a tad pricey. 2. You have to order most things from an app even condiments like Ketchup etc! (Didn't like that) 3. You get a 4hr slot but I feel like you need the whole day or more than 4hrs to be able to fully enjoy the place. Especially if you have slightly older children (8yrs+). There's zorbing which the kids were excited about (no adults), high ropes (£2 extra), great play, a range of really interesting playgrounds and things to jump and bounce on as well as a range of animals. Would recommend and if i were to come back, definitely with a picnic

Visiting was one of the best decisions we ever made. The happiness on the faces of my babies is one for the books. The paths through some enclosures made the experience more involved. Our many thanks to "Inca" and "Morgana".

Really enjoyed our time at Hobbledown. Our 2 year old loved getting up close and personal with the animals and thoroughly enjoyed the study play area. Went on a Monday morning and was very quiet.

Far too expensive, especially paying £18 for a 2 year old! Cannot touch lots of the animals which is disappointing for a 'farm'. A poor, confused layout. Lots of play areas inappropriate for younger kids - but they're expected to pay £18 entry. Under 3's soft play area rather unspectacular. All in all disappointing and overpriced - hadn't been before and we will certainly not be rushing to return.

Love it, plenty to do here indoor and outdoor play areas, animals, hawk show, zorbing, go-ape sort of thing, slides and sandpits. Food is good and reasonably priced. You can lose your kids in the indoor soft play, depending on your kids this may be a positive or negative - finding them is an SAS type mission as it’s a bit tight in there!!

Park is great for kids. Good balance of animals and climbing/jumping activities. Kids were knackered after the day. Only snag was ordering drinks via a QR code. Waited way too long for the coffee.

Park has some nice facilities, but feels understuffed and not well run against COVID restrictions, making for an overpriced, sort of "meh" experience. We had to finish our day walking through a pitch dark car park only to find that our car, parked in one of the designated spots, got stuck in mud. Apparently they didn't put rubber grass mats in some areas marked for parking, which after a rainy day made for mud traps (what an adventure!). The park itself was packed as you would expect during half-term, and whilst the kids enjoyed climbing structures and slides, the overall experience was definitely underwhelming. For example, it took us about 40 min to get to Willow Maze, yet a big group of people at the back of the queue got turned away, leading to some heated exchange of words from disappointed parents. Not much control over social distancing either, with people constantly brushing against you in the busier areas

Too expensive for what it offers. While I do not mind paying £18 for kids, the same price for adults does not make justice. Simply overpriced for what’s in there.

Really nice place for a family day out! Covid restrictions were in place which meant you could not do all the walk-throughs, there was plenty of anti bac and the soft play zone was limited time slot which made it much calmer in there! Unfortunately the day we chose was rain all day which meant most of the animals were not out and about (can't blame them) but even still there is loads to do lots of climbing frames and fun areas for kids to play! Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Zoo keeper experience was amazing. My 12yr old daughter fully embraced it all and our host was brilliant and full of knowledge.

👍👍 Great place! Has a little bit of everything for everyone, from the huge bowl to the street sections, bowl is super fun to ride but quite slippery at times, it has a deep end, a few hips and a spine.
